You ladies are great! For an instant I thought about flipping out on the witch, but I didn't want to ruin my sister-in-law's special day. So I was polite and said everyone was entitled to their onion and avoided her the rest of the evening. It just frustrates me that there are people in this world that can be so ignorant.

Kitty - I know it is so hard not to worry. I don't go in for another 3 weeks, so I feel your pain. I just try to remind myself that worrying is not good for my body (and the babies) and I am doing everything I can for the babies, so it is up to them to grow. Just have faith and keep the positive energy that your babies are doing well. The Doppler is tricky, I have had nurses that couldn't find it. Especially since when they are small then can be almost anywhere. Soon enough your belly will start growing bigger and somewhere between 16-20weeks you should start to feel movement, hopefully that will help ease your mind.

Thanks everyone for all the well wishes and congratulations. We're super excited and kind of overwhelm too. I guess it comes with the territory.

Latest news: We've officially graduated. Meet with the RE this week, who gave us the all clear to move to an OB. Now I just have to find one. They gave me a couple of recommendations so I have a place to start.

hi everyone

i was on the june cycle thread and figured i would jump into this thread now. our due date is mar 17th but it's twins so it's likely to be late feb- early march so i'll probably join both :) this was our 3rd cycle (first in sep was BFN, FET in jan was BFP but m/c at 6 weeks, and never could get my progesterone up to good levels even after bathing in progesterone). and 3rd time was the charm for us, we had a great cycle and even got 6 snow babies!

mev, purple, kitty mom, daisymae and lisa - congrats on your 2 beans! i read thru the first couple of pages of posts and could not believe how many twins there are on this thread! i definitely can use some tips (especially from you, purple!).

pa-fa - glad to find you here. 11 weeks, time flies (no pun intended :) ) have you had to fly much since you got your BFP?? DH and i just came back from a work/ vacation trip and we ended up taking 7 flights in 11 days. i don't recommend flying easyjet while pregnant, i swear the seats have even less leg room, and they charge for EVERYTHING (including ginger ale and tea), which sucks when you don't carry foreign currencies. but our vacation was awesome (we went to portugal & prague and loved both places).

stephanie - i have been lurking on the winter board (lots of old cycle buddies there from my sep & dec cycle) and your posts always make me smile. you are so ready, girl! the pics of your nursery look great.

millermommy & narly - hi!! glad to see you again here!!

afm - we had our u/s this morning and saw 2 healthy hb. we knew it was twins from a trip to the ER earlier this week after a bleeding episode. the ER doc had scared me quite a bit, but doc today said everything looked GREAT, and we even saw little tiny baby arm buds (only after the RE told us where to look...), good strong heartbeats on both and measuring good. i have subcrhionic hemorrahge which caused the bleeding earlier this week, and have 3 more clots of 2 cm x 1 cm i may pass in the nxt 2 weeks. i also had my first bout of severe monirng sickness today. until know i have been feeling nauseous when hungry, but today i just got sick w/o any warning or anything, i barely made it to the bathroom. DH was excited (yay, really) b/c it's a good sign that the preganncy is going well. i did not find it too funny at the time ! he has been so good to me (and over-protective too!). we were released to our ob and our first apt there is on aug 24th. did you get an u/s on y our first ob visit? I sure hope we get one!! can't believe we'll have to wait that long to see the peanuts again.

best wishes everyone

julia - welcome to our group! I am glad to hear everything is going great, it sounds like you have had a bit of a scary start. I couldn't imagine having to pass clots, I think I would be a nervous wreck.

I hit 14 weeks.... woo-hoo! I am officially out of the first trimester. I put together a little registry this week. Luckily we have most thing we need, but we have a few things that need replacing, mostly linens. I even pulled out a bin of baby gear this weekend and started sorting through it, I figure I should do it while I still can.

Has everyone decided if they are going to find out the gender? I didn't with my first two, it was a really fun surprise and it drove everyone nuts (except me). This time my husband said he would kill me, so we are going to find out.

HI All
Hope everyone is doing well. I hit the 12 week mark yesterday and went in for a check up. Babies were so cute :)
The u/s tech and the doctor were trying to take measurements but they wouldnt stay still long enough. And when Baby B finally stopped moving Baby A was kicking him from underneath....ahhh they are already fighting :) All you could see when they were measuring baby B was little feet on the bottmo of the screen. Oh and Baby A was doing a handstand the tech tried to take a picture but she claims he moved to fast, not so much he was there for like a minute! But what can you dp right? So know I wait for 6 LONG weeks before I see them again :(

PA_FA-I replied on the May board but I'm sorry to hear about what you are dealing with. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers that it resolves itself quickly.

How's everyone else doing?

bei - it is great to hear from you again. I am sorry you have been so sick.

kitty - it sounds like a great check-up. I am so jealous that you got an ultrasound=) I am happy that you got to see them moving and flipping, what fun!

I had an exciting day. I felt a first little kick today. The babies and I must have all just been in the right position. I was hoping for more, but I guess I will have to wait a while for a repeat performance. How is everyone's belly? I have a little round pouch now, and I am starting to look more pregnant (but remember this isn't my first pregnancy).

Hi everyone - I am due 3-3-11, but since I will have another c-section I will have the baby a week earlier. So I will have the baby end of February whenever I pick the baby's birthday  I see this is a "twin board " I am a twin myself so does that count  I know I'm going to probably have a high risk pregnancy  I had a sub-chrionic bleed a couple of weeks ago and really thought I miscarried. I still have a blood clot on the placenta it is small hoping it goes away really soon. I also have high blood pressure which is controlled with meds but will have to monitor it. I am 10 weeks along right now :) I have a DD who doesn't know I'm pregnant yet. I'm afraid to tell her last time I was pregnant, I miscarried after it. I am not working which is good for me right now. I am not allowed to lift anything, no sex and rest frequently. If I were to bleed again I'll be on bedrest  It is going to be a loooong pregnancy but as long as I get that baby in the end that is all that matters :D :D Looking forward to meeting you all. Anyone has any questions about baby stuff or anything just ask. I know sometimes first pregnancies can be overwhelming but also incredibly exciting !!!!!!

Your dd is going to be so thrilled when she finds out but i understand your fears and wanting to wait, will you tell her after the 1st trimester? I hope the bleeding stays away so you wont have to go on bed rest but if needs be. Will keep popping over to check on you.

Gi - Thanks so much for the well wishes :D This pregnancy for me has been somewhat rocky but hope it calms down now. No more bleeding YAY !!!! My blood clot seems to be starting to fade, so hopefully in due time it shall go away. The RE thinks I could of had twins and one didn't make it :( and that was probably the cause of that really heavy bleed. I saw the baby today on ultrasound. The baby was moving a mile a minute and even faced us and was waving @ us  It was incredible !!!!! I had ultrasounds with my DD but not as many. Only in the beginning and not much movement. Then once towards the end and the baby was so big didn't see to much movement. This was almost comical looking. I think DD will find out in a couple of weeks. I am actually starting to show. My uterus from my previous c-section is making my uterus go upward, which is causing me to show plus all those stretched abdominal muscles are just never the same after pregnancy. I remember my stomach actually looked just like jello, it wiggled and all. Except it wasn't cute  How are you doing ? Congrats on having a girl, I looooooved shopping for my DD. It was a blast and still is. DD is in Ballet/tap, I just love seeing her all dolled up :D :D You ever need advice on anything just pm me. The baby shower stuff is a blast !!!!! i registered and used one of those scanners ohhhh what fun. I just looove all baby stuff. I actually kept everything so I really don't need to shop much. Plus family gave me lots of clothes over the years so I am set. But I' ll have to do a little celebration shopping !!!!! Great to hear from you and please do keep in touch, hugs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

It's been awhile since I have been on these boards. I have been so sick and it is only getting worse and I am pretty much bedridden with my throw up bowls. My poor DH is running around with our toddler and taking care of as much as he can. I don't see an end in sight, especially since I'm still in my first trimester. When I talked to my doctor and he said we could do a c-section at 38 weeks (I had a prior c-section and with twins, I think it is probably the best choice this time)...I looked at him and said I was hoping for 37 weeks. I thought he would say absolutely not, but instead he looked at me and said if I dealing with the same sickness/itching as last time then 37 weeks would be fine. Every now and then I run into a woman who tells me how great she felt during pregnancy...I just don't get it. I never feel more like death, then when I am carrying life...very ironic! I hope the rest of you are having a much better pregnancy than I am.

lisab- So sorry you feel so bad. I have some nausea but luckily I haven't thrown up. I drink ginger ale for the nausea, and that seems to help me. It might have alot of sodium though. I think lately gas builds up and makes me have nausea, sometimes I think if I move around more I start to belch and it makes me feel better. Sorry for TMI  Any sggestions from your RE to alleviate or help your symptoms ? Hope you feel better soon, hugs :D :D :D

Jenice - I take zofran, which is a med they give chemo patients to deal with nausea. I had to take it the whole time I was pregnant with my son....but with twins, it is even worse this time.
