Angela - It's normal. I get those sharp pains too sometimes. I feel it and will just blurt out, "Stop it!!" lol Andrew or Alex will look at me and ask stop what. They have come to learn that when I do that, I am yelling at the pain to stop. I don't like it when it happens but yes, it is normal. Don't worry baby mama! You are just starting to get those oh so lovely uncomfortable symptoms of pregnancy. :) I even get pain on my cervix sometimes. Not sure what the heck that is, but I do remember the same pains from being pregnant before. Thanks for your input on the babies coming early. I am sure that the ob won't take them when it's too soon. I see babies on tv born at 36 weeks with issues of prematurity though so the thoughts are there in the back of my mind. I am sure the twins will be fine though.

Pa - Try not to worry yourself too much right now. Stay calm for baby and think positive. No need to drive yourself crazy with all the what ifs. Google can be a dear friend and a mean cruel ******* at times. When I had my SCH bleeding I was all over google and it made me worry more because of all the people saying that the SCH caused their miscarriage. However, when I searched this IVF forum for other stories of SCH, there was not one bad ending! Here they are people just like me so I was comforted by that and just forgot about the stories I found through google. Waiting sucks, but better you have more information then what google can offer you.

Katie - 10 weeks... in less than 28 hours I will be on a 9 week count down. lol I am hoping for their lungs to be perfect, maybe getting a steroid to make sure, but those thoughts of the what ifs always enter now and again. Thanks for looking that up though. :) I don't think I will be in the hospital for more than 3 days though. They seem to push you out these days unless something is wrong. I think I am going to be a big baby after the surgery so I will be taking advantage of any help I can get till I can get up and down like a normal person. lol That's so sweet of you to want to slap my dad's wife. She said the 2st yes, but that is a Sunday so she SHOULD get it this Friday, but can't be too pushy. I just have to take a deep breath and cross my fingers. I am not sure where any of your energy came from in the beginning. lol I never had much of it this pregnancy. Now I am just a big blob. I look at the stairs lately and just sigh. I think you are just now becomming normal. lol Really though, it's ok. Don't worry about your lack of energy, Savannah wants it all to herself. ;)

Natasha - How can they change your due date a whole week when you had IVF? I would think a transfer date is as accurate as you can get. lol I was measuring a week ahead throughout my pregnancy and they never changed mine considering how we got preggers.

Gi - How are you doing over yonder? Yes, almost counting down in weeks in the single digits... just less then two days now. Seems strange to think how fast it is creeping up. I just hope I can get everything we need in time! I feel you on the shaving. I have had some issues with my legs as well thanks to the big ole belly. Also personal grooming has become very hard to do blind! lol

Babyluv - Scarlett's bedding taking that long? OUCH! I would pick something else too. Might be easier to find something in a store close to you and just bring it home. :) I might be having a second shower myself in August. Though I am not counting on that. Andrew's mom is claiming to be throwing something for us out in Montana with his family. I don't really see his family helping though. They are all, well... what most people would call trailor trash. No one has any money, but I am guessing if they do hold a so called shower that it would be a cash pool type of deal. Another reason I doubt the whole thing is because his mom and sister both hate me. lol She hates me because I took her baby boy away (seriously) and sister hates me just because his mom does. I am so glad we live far enough not to have to deal with them on a daily basis. lol OH, and my ob called Ethan's placenta the posterior one and Angelina's the anterior one. THAT makes more sense. So I think the sonographer just screwed it up like she tried to do the genders. lol

AFM - Ok so here are the pictures of the nursery. Granted this is just half. The other half with look very similar though. lol Angelina's will be a lighter finish, but same furniture and pink instead of blue. Yes, we got matching bedding. hehe Oh and the diaper bags in the picture. Andrew wanted a more manly bag so his in the one on the right and mine is the one on the left. lol There is a matching diaper stacker too but can't really see that... it's on the right side of the crib. Also there is a matching valance for the window. I thought I got it in the picture (before the camera died) but doesn't look as though I did. :( Oh well, it's all good. I can't wait to get the rest though, finish Angelina's side, add shelves and decorate some more! Oh, by the way, the little booties on the crib, that was the first thing we bought for the twins. :)

PA - I am so sorry you are dealing with this!! Google can really be so harmful, but I am like you when it comes to needing to know everything. I'll be praying for your little bean and I hope everything turns out to perfect.

Steph - LOVING the room! Great purchases!! And I just ran into a woman this week who has five month old identical twin boys. They were delivered at 35 weeks and were both over 6 lbs. One didn't spend any time in the NICU, the other was there 10 day but only because he had feces in his sac and they wanted to keep an eye on him. They are both bog boys now...waaaaaay bigger than Scarlett was at 6 months (though to be fair, she was super tiny coming out of the orphanage with no heart meds...12.5 pounds at 6 months). She is such a spitfire and just perfect.

Angela - I get those pains as well. I think it's ligament pains but also the babies pushing on organs. BUT, I would just call and check with your OB. No reason not to. And yes, my showers are August 14 & 28. I wanted to have them early in case I ended up on bedrest.

Katie - I am going up and down on my energy as well. The iron pills have helped me not to have that "I'm going to pass out tired", but I am still tired. I think this heat, plus an extra 28 pounds, plus, well, being pregnant and not working out is definitely taking a toll!

Gi - I can still shave my legs pretty well, it's the, um, OTHER area down there that I am just taking my best guess at!!

AFM - I think I am narrowing down the bedding for Scarlett. Wish I had started this earlier because her furniture will be here Friday and I had wanted to move her in that day. I've looked at so many stores and just can't find what I want, but I think I found some online.

Also, the girls must have flipped back around because they started kicking again yesterday and today. It's so weird how they go into hiding sometimes. AND, my best friend just called and she got a very faint line today! She a very fertile person so it wasn't too surprising, but I am really excited. Now all of our kids (this will be her third) will all be close in age. Actually, if we were sending Alex to Kindergarten next year, they would all be in the same grades! So I have now been pregnant (or am pregnant) with FOUR out of the five girls who were in my wedding. If the other one gets pregnant it will have to be some kind of a record.

PA- FA - I know that all of us telling you try to not stress, you'll end up doing it anyway, but as least you'll get the relief of having a Dr explain the results right away. I'll say a prayer for good test results and a week that passes quickly - xoxo

Angela - Oh, yes I've had those sharp pains too, especially when I'm moving too quickly, which I really cant do anymore lol. And you're not alone, I'm getting up to pee 2-3 times in the middle of the night, then I have the joy of trying to go back to sleep while Chris snores like a bear - sigh

Steph - Oooh, I love the furniture you've chosen! Ethan's bedding is adorable! we have the same color furniture, love those dark espresso tones also. I'd post nursery pics now, but all you'd see is bare furniture and bare walls for now. We did get that wall decal, but its a one shot deal, so it has go up perfect since you cant pull it off and restick it, have to wait for a day of great patience to attempt that! But I am dying to get those fabric letters up, but I still dont know what to do with the extra V. Andrew gets his own diaper bag? I didnt think of that, well you need 2 or one would be totally overflowing right? And i love the booties, theres something else I fogot, got plenty of socks but no booties. UGH for Andrew's family, they sound like my ex's mom, she never liked me either for the same reason, what? are they suppossed to stay single forever? My ex- MIL looks, sounds, and acts like the MIL on Everybody Loves Raymond - I cant watch the show, I'd start to shudder at the sight of that woman! So they think they'll plan a shower for you in Montana? or are they (gasp) coming to TX? Being a few states away make for a nice buffer zone, doesnt it? OK, now after seeing your nursery now I really feel like we're in the slow lane on this

Babyluv - Wow, theres been so many babies from your wedding party, sounds like you'll have plenty of belly buddies and lots of playdates to set up soon!
as cute as all the bedding is, it just takes forever to find the right one, doesnt it?

AFM - So i'm guessing that no news is good news on my GTT results? I swear I never get any info from this OB's office, like how many times I even have to ask my own BP reading, weight, and I've still yet to hear any baby measurements. I so miss my RE. And not to complain, but I am wondering if this awful heartburn is just here til the delivery? At this rate I'm up to 2 zantac and 4 tums a day! oooh, fun! Ok girlies, i'm off to a fun filled day of errands
hugs & prayers to us all - xoxo

Katie - If you are worried about your GTT just call the office. BUT, if you were positive, they would have called by now, so I'm sure you are in the clear. Everyone I know who has failed it has been called within a few days. Also, ask them when you are in the office what the measurements are. Sometimes mine doesn't think to tell me, but I always just ask and they let me know right then.

PA_FA – Thanks for the advice. I did run it past them. I understand how you feel about getting so attached to your pregnancy. We are always here for you whenever you need us.

Stephanie – Thanks for making me laugh … I love the story about you yelling stop it!! Too funny! I surely felt like saying the same thing last night!!

I love the pictures. The furniture looks great. You are definitely getting me excited about decorating Gabriella’s room.

Babyluv – Thank you so much for the advice … that’s great news about your friend’s pregnancy. It is exciting to think your babies will grow up together. I was thinking the same thing about my daughter and two other friends. We will have babies who are just a few weeks apart in age. And, we live very close to each other.

Katie – thank you also so much for reassurance about my sharp pains! I hope your heartburn gets better. I have it too but I have learned which foods or liquids flare it up, so I have been trying my best to avoid it. Well, that is the plan for now; I am sure it will get worse as my pregnancy progresses.

AFM – I did take everyone’s advice and called my high risk OB just to run my symptoms past them and for nothing else they will have it written in my charts in case I run into any problems in the future. The nurse said exactly what we all thought that it was round ligament pain and it was normal. Well, as long as I wasn’t have contractions or bleeding with it, which I’m not.

So, once again, I am so thankful for everyone’s advice. It is great to have you ladies to lean on when my mind starts wondering and I become scared. I will be a bundle of nerves this week and next week considering it’s the timeframe when I lost my daughter. So I will just take it one day at a time … I hope you ladies have a great rest of the week!

Hey baby mamas! I can't really do personals though I promise to when my internet is up. They shut the darn thing off since we are 2 days late. Talk about strict! So until payday in two days I have to use my cell phone and it's slow and takes forever to load tbis site. Makes me want to get a blackberry or smartphone of some kind. Anyway, we got some news today. *Big deep breath* Andrew will be deploying yet again and yes, with this same shitty unit. We are hoping they won't kick in any stop losses for a while so we have a chance at getting the hell out of here! It figures though doesn't it? Our plan was to wait a year till he can reenlist for duty station of choice and now he will deploy before getting the chance. This will also hurt his career as far as getting promoted. It will slow everything down unless by a miracle they give him a feild grade promotion. At least we got more than a 5 month notice like last time. This time we got an 11 month notice. I guess I should be thankful that he gets 9 months with his babies. Though he will come home and they won't really know who he is. This is the part I'm going to really hate. He will miss their first birthday and first steps. Ugh! Well, I will be checking in on you ladies and will post personals when I can. Much love to all you fine ladies!

OH STEPH! I am so sorry! Just one more piece of news to add to an already emotional time. I know you all KNEW it could happen being that he is Army, but the fact that it did...ugh. I am so happy he'll be home for the birth and the first several months, and I'll be praying he comes home QUICKLY! Do you know how long deployment should be? My parents were both Air Force and my mom got out when they adopted my oldest brother. Dad went to Vietnam after they had two kids, so she moved back with my grandparents for a year during that time. I know it was hard because both boys were young while my dad was gone...but kids are strong.

hi ladies!!

stephanie- thats got to be hard for him to leave you all and miss out for a bit. good luck.
and the nursery is nice you guys did a great job. =)

angela- im glad you called and feel better about the pain and i hope it doesnt bother you too much

afm- its weird but since i got home from the ob appt mly back is aching in my lower back. i havent had this pain yet. i really didnt do much. so the u/s went great. the baby was moving and scratching its head it was funny we were laughing. i havent seen the movement like we saw today. i agree tho i dont know how the ivf clinic tried changing my EDD so today we asked the ob what she thought my EDD is she said we'll stay with feb 7th. so that it is. that ivf clinic was starting to bug me they didnt seem to be as nice and caring as they were when we first started ivf. so the ob told me to continue the 10 pound restrictions. thank goodness someone is sane lol. they completely understood where we were coming from and how we felt about not wanting to risk anything. my job doesnt have any type of maternity leave or disablity at all i have to just go on leave of absence. and they wont let me work on restrictions at all. its ok though i'd just rather sacrafice for 6 more months and be safe. i have another appt on aug. 25th.

Hello again! Andrew has what's called mobile hot spot on his smartphone. It's a free feature and it allows up to 5 computers to use his phone as a wireless router. Pretty nifty! So that means while he is home I have internet until we pay the bill. lol OMG, I found the best deal on Craigslist! It was such a good deal I had to borrow money to get it! I had a pack n play on my registry for $129. Well, this one I found retails for $180,more features, brand new, never been used for $65!! It's prefect! Also, my brother got out of surgery just fine. He will stay in the hospital for 5 days and in 3 he will find out if any part or the mass was malignant. I of course am staying positive and saying it wasn't! Another update, Andrew finally got his meds. He was put on 50mg of Zoloft and goes up to 2 doses next week. I was pretty taken back that they would start him at such a high dose, but I guess that is normal for someone with PTSD. He said he does feel different already. Spite the news that he will be deploying he said he was pretty happy today. That's unusual but good! lol Stop loss doesn't go in effect until January so he have until then to try and get him out of the unit. Doesn't look like he is getting his promised free time off though so we are giving up and just putting him in for leave. Hopefully between that and the meds he will be a happy camper. :) So now let me get to these personals that I missed out on earlier!

Here is the link to a picture of the pack n play I got if you want to see! http://www.walmart.com/ip/Graco-Silhoue ... d/10769909

Natasha - Glad to know your OB has a good head on his shoulders! You are right, 6 months out of work is better than risking anything with the pregnancy! I stand by that decision whole heartedly. I am surprised that your job doesn't allow light duty. I know it calls for you do lift, but I guess there is just no wiggle room there. At least you and baby are doing well and you got to see him/her moving around and scratching it's little head. lol How cute!

Babyluv - Yes, we always know it will happen again around the corner somewhere. I am really getting mad at this pres of ours though. He is so non-military is is a shame. He promised to be out of Iraq in 6 months in office, we are still there and still deploying soldiers there. Now to cut costs they have cut bonuses, are going to change our health insurance so we have to pay, taking away insurance for soldiers woulded in war and not giving soldiers a pay raise. Now I know some of those decisions will be overturned by the senate or the house or whomever does that. It's still a pain to know how much they are taking away from soldiers though when so many are hurt and die so the government can get what they want. Sorry to go on a political rant in your personal. Shame on me! Anyway... the twins will bounce back I am sure. I just have to do a good job of showing them pictures and saying daddy over and over. Hopefully we can get him out of this unit though and not even have to worry about it. :)

Angela - I am glad that you got some peace of mind. It's never fun to feel something uncomfortable or painful in pregnancy. I am sure the next 2 weeks will be more rough for you. No worries though, we are here for you to help you through it!

Katie - Thanks, I love the furniture too! I got the two darkest finishes they had in it too, espresso and cherry. Well, I will get the cherry. lol I can't wait to get the rest of the furniture, the shelves and decorate some more. I know the bedding is a bit simple, but I love the colors together and the pink and brown are great too. For some reason those colors just look good together for me. I bet you are getting anxious, but if those decals are a one time thing then yes, a day of patience for sure! I am not sure there is anything you can do with your extra letter. If it were me I would just throw it away. Something like that would just be a reminder of the 4 phone calls and 4 stupid people I had to talk to to get the right letter! lol Yeah, Andrew's mom actually told me that if she could that her kids would live with her forever. Freaky! She even let her daughter whore herself over the internet so she could get pregnant. Well his sister is some kind of mentally disabled (his mom won't tell us what's wrong with her) and irresponsible so his mom adopted the kid. Now she has another kid, just what she wanted. I think the whole family is disturbed! As far as the shower, she is holding on in MT with the family that's out there. No she isn't planning on coming here, she expected us to go there and have a shower. Oh, no news on the GTT is good news. If something was wrong they would have called you about 3 days later. Mine must be good too. :) Also, I think you asked about bottles? You can wash them in regular soap and if they are dishwasher safe, even in the dishwasher. To sterilize though, you can add some bleach to water (1 tsp or tbsp per gallon will have to look that up) soak, rinse and let dry or you can get a bottle sanitizer. Those are normally steam. Hope that helps.

katie- i feel the same way. i haad my ob appt yesterday and now that i think about it they didnt tell me squat. i guess if i want to know i have to ask. darn it..

stephanie- ya my job doesnt let me go back on light duty because im not on the restrictions because of work. if i hurt my self on the job then they have to give me light duty but since this has nothing to do with work they dont let me go back on restrictions in case i do hurt my self then its their faith you know i guess its just to protect them. i came this far i can deal with this. no biggie. as long as my baby is safe i'll stay off.

Evening ladies,

Steph sorry to hear Andrew may be deployed how hard that must be for both of ye but hopefully he wont. Love the pack n play thing i have never heard of one of those before this site as we dont have them here and they look so useful!! Also glad to hear your brothers op went well and i am sure he will be fine.

Katie so 3rd trimester tiredness has hit with a bang  My pregnancy book says 3rd trimester starts at 25 wks which does seem a tad early but hey i am going to pretend its right!! Savannah sounds like she is running out of room to move around a lot so now she will concentrate on putting on puppy fat!!!

Angela so lots of deep breaths to calm the nerves for you over the next few wks to get over this difficult hurdle but hopefully it will fly by, i was extremely nervous at the 10wk mark as that was when i had last m/c ah feck it i am lying i am still extremely nervous

Natasha i am so glad to hear you are staying off work and just concentrating on your baby, i too thought i was going back at 17 wks but doc. said no way and i am so thrilled and thinks its def. helped in me carrying her this far (and Please God full term). I just noticed your ticker nearly in the 2nd trimester!!!!!!!!

PA i have everything crossed all is ok with your little one and can totally understand your attachement hell i was attached from the day i saw the faint line! Take it easy at work it cant be too easy flying off everywhere.

Hi to all i have missed and i hope everyone is doing well.

Hi everyone -

Wow what is going on, I dont have energy for anything at all! I really had to force myself to clean and grocery shop. I sure hope that this exhaustion doesnt last the rest of the pregnancy! And I'm back to having grapefruits for ankles again, they sure are ugly. I've now reached the point of "belly in the way" that doing my own pedicures is sort of out of the question these days, but I'd be so embarrassed to sit in a pedi chair with these balloon like ankles/ insteps - yay summer? Oh and heres some fun, Gracie got sick all over the carpets i just steam cleaned and guess which room she chose to get sick in? yep, you got it the nursery. How do they know these things? She has also found the bag of baby toys/ rattles and keeps trying to pull it down to play with, I guess she thinks they are for her! Umm, sorry puppy. Chris reminded me that at some point Savannah will try to eat Gracie's toys and Gracie already wants to eat Savannah's toys
But I figure that as long as you have a dog, the babies will get lots of exposure for their immune system, right?

Steph - oh honey, what crappy timing for you guys! So does this mean that his reenlistment to guarantee choice of duty station is on hold til he gets back from this next deployment? Ack! How are you going to handle 2 9 month old babies all by yourself? I find it really suspicious that his enlistment is up in July, so they decide to deploy him for what? number 4? in June. Hmmm, they must be short of available bodies again? I really should "insert my Obama rant here" but I wont because i'm quite sure that no one wants to hear my opinions on politics - UGH, I'll leave it at that, for now at least. OK I suppose we just have to be grateful that he'll be home for their birth and until they're 9 months old, I know alot of other military familes have had that taken away from them, but I am worried about you being there all by yourself, for how long? Jeez and he was just getting started with Zolft & therapy too, I guess they dont care about his PTSD? Oh silly me, what was I thinking? I'm thrilled to hear you say that he felt happy today. See all it is a simple chemical imbalance Well it sucks, but at least they gave you all lots of notice for it, but can he deal with being away from the babies? Honey my heart goes out to you, I remember how rough deployments were when it was just me & a dog getting left home alone, the babies will surely help the time pass faster, though. Come on, who needs to sleep, right? Whoo hoo for your brother's surgery going well, I've got a good feeling for the pathology report coming back clean. Yippee for that pack & play too! You'll definitely need that for 2 babies plus two floors in your house. You are getting great stuff from craigslist girl! A co worker of Chris's said they have a high chair for us, so yay for that! If I get any energy back today I'd like to wash all the baby clothes and figure out which drawers they'll go in. WTF? with your cable co? 2 days only? They are super strict! And their timing was impeccable, no? Ack! Andrew's mom had / let her DD get pg just to raise another baby? Hmm, I have to say thats frightening and actually reminds me of a certain someone we all know here. ugh. Ummm, yeah what a great idea it would be to travel while so far along with twins? So instead she'll have a baby shower without the twin mama? how odd is that? Hearing things like that make me glad that Chris's half brother & his wife are moving to FL, this week, they sound like they're kinda similar - haha thanks for the heads up on the dish soap
Boy do I have a lot to learn! I picked up 2 books on baby's first year when I got pg, but havent even opened either of them yet  - much love xoxoxo

Babyluv - Yeah, my last OB visit I was thinking I should maybe block the door, so i can get her to answer my questions in the five minutes she's in the room - hahaha. Did you find bedding for Scarlett yet? How's our other twin mama feeling lately?

Angela - Oh honey, you bring up anything you'd like to! We all understand how the next few weeks for you will bring up thoughts that you need to get out of your system, thats what we're here for! hee hee I guess I cant complain oh heartburn since i still eat lots of spicy foods, huh? I cant help it, I love them

Natasha - Absolutely, better safe than sorry when it comes to lifting. I worked as a CNA for awhile, and I remember how bad my back hurt at the end of a shift - ow! But I also always put my residents first before my back, so not so good. Ok so now your EDD is feb 7, I'll change it now.

Gi - Aw, honey with as great as your Kayla is doing you know theres no more need to be nervous, but saying it and feeling are two different things, arent they? I think we'll both be the ones who are still worried until they put those little girls into our arms - which will be soon! eek, I'm not ready yet  Wheres your nursery furniture already? I'll bet Jason is just dying to put it together - heehee

hugs & prayers to us all - xoxo

Hazel & Claudia - I'm missing you both! - xoxo

Katie - I keep my nursery door closed at all times because of the animals. My cat likes to get into everything! So I am sure I would find his fat ass in the crib, in the closet, laying on the clothes that are still laying on the floor. As for the dog, she has seperation anxiety so if we don't shut all the doors anyway, she will try to show us how umm, upset that she is that we left her alone. lol Yes, this is deployment number 4. This is also the longest notice we have had so I am thankful for that. I just hope it falls through or he gets out of the unit. He will still be able to reenlist for duty station of choice while he is gone, but of course it won't go into effect until he comes home. Looks like it will be a 12 month tour and to Afghanistan this time. Great! They all hate us there! I don't mind politcal rants, but I leave mine to complaining about the treatment of soldiers. That's what I have to see every day. If I go into anything else, I might step on someone's toes. Don't want to do that. :) I have gotten lucky on CL haven't I? Talk about luck! I am so thankful for those fateful finds! It has saved us so much money! Actually, not sure we would even have these things yet if not for finding them on CL because they are just so darn expensive! Andrew's family is what I like to say, fuckered up. Excuse my language. Explains why the therapist said Andrew was set up for failure with the PTSD. His mom let her meet random strangers online, in that way. Not just locally either, a lot were out of he state. She is lucky to be alive really. She was beaten a few times even, but hey.. mom got what she wanted... a grandson. That family just makes me angry. Anyway... how is Savannah today? Beating you up? Mine were jumping all over the place. Andrew and I just sat there and watched for a while. lol

Gi - You don't have a pack and play or play pen for babies there?? They use to be called play pens and be a lot bigger back in the day. Now they have made them smaller and added so many features. Like the bassinet which is a life saver since I will not want to bend over far after having a c-section. This one also has the cover with the little bears on them, a changing table, a diaper stacker, wipe case, storage, lights for at night so I can see the babies and music! I don't remember them having that much 11 years ago when I had Alex. lol I thought about getting two seperate bassinets but decided to go with this one since they can be together in it. It saves us money, even more since I found this one brand new for 1/3 the price. The people who had it got it, set it up in their son's room and their son doesn't like to be in his room. So they sold it. Lucky me! My brother is doing well the day after so far. He is a bit nauseous but he will be able to recoup for a while ye under nurse and doctor care. :)

Natasha - I am sure their reasoning is to protect them from work man's comp ever coming into the picture. However, since there is such a thing as light duty for those who have been injured, it doesn't seem like it would be hard to let you do the light duty as well. You would still be doing work, things would still be getting done that needs to be done for the hospital/company and you would still be getting a paycheck. Oh well, everything happens for a reason. I had to think that when my business tanked. It could never have survived in a town like this. I should have known better, but oh well. If I had a job right now I would be so done. lol The money would be good since we need it, but I can't walk without having some braxton hicks. Anyway, your baby will be safe! You are already being a good mom and doing what is right for your baby. :)

Pa - How are you doing baby mama? I hope you aren't freaking out too much. I know you are going to worry no matter what, but that's what we are here for. Don't be afraid to let it out here. We are all friends. :)

Babyluv - How is the bedding coming along? Not too stressful I hope! You obviously have some idea in your head that you are specifically looking for I assume? We just baught new bedding for ourselves last pay day. We have a memory foam bed and I thought that this bed was not helping my hip problems at night. We decided when we got the new bedding to get rid of the mattress pad the bed came with and wouldn't you know, that helped! lol Seems that the pad was making the bed tight and not letting our bodies conform as well. Now we sink a little nicer and the bed craddles us better. Interesting I thought. Though I still have hip issues, I am nowhere in as much pain as I was in before.

Angela - How is Gabriella doing? When is your furniture and stuff going to be coming in? I remember you said you ordered a bunch of stuff. Excited to get the nursery together?

Hazel - Hope you are having a great time! Waiting patiently to hear how things are going. :)

Emerald, Sara, Riley - Hope to hear from you soon!

AFM - Small update though I am sure I will ramble as I usually do. :) Talked to the shower girl today. Talk about being scared about how the shower will go. When she first skimmed over her plans, she talked about appetizers and meals. It's now going to be chips and dip. What?? No food to go with the twin/double theme? She said she is on a budget so she can't afford to buy much of anything. She also told me the few games that she plans to do. Umm... yeah, this will be a pretty boring party. She tells me not to worry, that she is planning this and wants it to be a surprise for me. Now just two days before the party she decides to tell me about it (not keeping it a surprise) and it sounds boring and nothing like she mentioned before and nothing like I pictured. She could have just kept me in the loop from the beginning because I have other friends that were willing to help, I could have put in my input and everything would have turned out fine. So now I am taking it upon myself to plan an extra game or two and come up with some nifty ideas for food... at least some appetizers and maybe some things for Andrew to bbq. I am not going to go too far out of my way since I am on a budget too, but this is my one and only shower. I want it to not be a flop. lol Am I being too picky? I am getting together with a friend tomorrow to help me with ideas. She knows a lot about baby showers. :) Ok, time to wake Andrew up from his peaceful slumber and get him to mow the lawn. lol

katie- aww yes animals tend to know what not to do at the right time huh. lol yeah i believe they will be sharing toys and the dog will be trying to plan to steal them and run. i see it all the time at my family's house. your goingto be a busy mommy because the dog will want your attention too. you'll probably get a few good laughs out of it though

Stephanie- i understand how you feel about your shower. try not to get too worked up but to add a few games to be safe and some food might make you feel a little better. i cant believe she waited 2 days before the party to tell you she's on a budget and cant go all out. i definitely think she should have told you so others can help this is special for you more than she may think. I guess people forget what you went thru to have a baby and it means the world to you. not everyone can afford or try to have another pregnancy so yes i'd treat it as it were your one and only shower. im sorry to hear that now you have to put work into your own party and your pregnant. parties are stressful to get ready in a time limit and to top it off last minute.

I just had a discussion with my sister. my cousin is pregnant and due in oct. on 2nd baby and my sister is pregnant due in dec. on her 3rd baby. so i told my sister a month ago i'll probably have my shower in nov. becausei dont want to in dec because of xmas and jan. is too last minute because we havent bought anything and are waiting on the shower to see what we get so theres no doubles. so a long story short. my sister called me up saying she's planning on doing her shower in nov. too i told her well i dont know yet the date im doing mine so she kinds got mad and said well i just wont have one. i told her do what she wants. then she came over a few days ago and mentioned it again. i told her do hers in oct she says my cousin i thinking of doing hers in oct.i dunno what to tell her cuz im not changing my mind. its just funny beacuse no one mentioned a shower until i said i was having one. this is our first baby. my cousin and sister already had one so now its my turn. im not backing off of my date. my sister didnt have one for her 2nd one but now she wants one for her 3rd. i dunno. i think she's just being weird about it now. she told me she bought everything so she's just going to do a little one to get everyone together. im thinking she wants some attention too so thats what its more about. so yesterday she calls me and asks if we can do ours together i said no cuz this is our first child she had one already. if this were our 2nd or something no biggie but this is my 1st baby and probably only who knows. remind you all no one in my family or my husbands know we had problems on our own and went thru ivf. so they dont know how much more special this is for us. did you all tell your family? do you think im wrong about not changing my date and having my shower on my own? I talked to my mom about it and she agreed. they had one already. i didnt plan on getting pregnant at the same time as two others in my family we're all two months apart from eachother. i just dont want to hurt their feelings but i think she should know i wouldnt want to share my special day.

thanks for listening to me vent :D have anice weekend ladies
