Fitz - Thats great that you trigger Monday. They don't tell me to trigger til the day before or the day of! I wish my ER was going to be any day before Thursday. My boss's wife is having a c-section on Tuesday so work is dead til Thursday. Oh well!

Lauren - it is a conspiracy lol. My nurse told me yesterday "I was on the right track" too! Lol! With the 1st cycle they have to start you off on low doses of the meds and gradually increase in order to try to avoid ovarian hyperstimulation. My 1st IUI I was doing 75 Gonal F a night. On my first IVF I was doing 600 Gonal F a night. They know what they are doing (most of the time), so don't worry. She could have given you your number though! I like to keep a log of it so I can look back and see where I was at this point on my last cycle. Hopefully you will only need this cycle, so you won't need to look back! But it's still good in case you decide to have another baby after.

Annashope -- Oh, I am so sorry to read your post. I understand your heartbreak and your financial concerns. We are cash pay as well. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I so wish this process was easy... you go through it and *bam* you're pregnant. Too many uncertainties. I was really hoping this would work out for you. It seemed to be moving along slowly but surely. So unfair!

AFM -- Bon Jovi was AMAZING last night. Our seats were very good as well. I really enjoyed Kid Rock. The thing that sucked was... traffic on the way there was HORRIBLE and parking was $46... seriously! Then they charged $8.50 for a beer. Can you believe that? But, really... it was all worth it. I did have SnS both yesterday and today. Yesterday my E2 level was 1,012 and I had 8-10 good size follies growing. Today I had to get up after 4 hrs of sleep and go to the clinic. I was at the other location where the 3D u/s machine is. That machine measures smaller... but it seemed disappointing. The follies are still there, but I still had several in the 10-12 range which I fear will not catch up. I have 2 at 16 and one at 19. My E2 level only rose to 1,144. I get to get up at 6AM tomorrow and go back for another SnS. The RN was thinking Tues or Weds for ER. She told me today that she would call between 11 and 11:30AM with my instructions. I know they close at noon on Saturdays so when I didn't get the call by 11:45AM I tried to call there and it went to voice mail. I left a message and waited some more. No call by 12:15PM and I started to freak out. I convinced myself they forgot about me. I decided to wait until 1PM and then page the doctor on call. You know what? She called at 12:57PM. Seriously.... why tell me "11:00-11:30" if it might be later? I spent a good hour worrying for nothing. It's not like we don't already have enough to worry about, right?!?!

BTW... changed my pic in my signature to a couple of pics of me and DH. We don't take many standing up because he's 6'4" and I'm 5'4" tall...lol. The pic on the left was us last weekend before heading out to see a live band at a club. The other is us in Santorini a few years ago. One of our favorite places.

Hi everyone!
I am 11 days post transfer & yesterday I started having a brownish discharge/spotting. Today it turned into a brownish/red spotting... I am still taking prometrium vaginally until I am told to stop. My clinic just says to watch the spotting and let them know everyday how things are going. I test in 4 days but sooner if the spotting turns to a flow. Since the horrific egg retriveval 14 days ago... the fluid in my abdomen has absorbed itself but I continue to have terrible diarrhea for the last 8 or 9 days. I've been feeling weak and tired but not vomiting. Has anyone ever felt this afterwards ? Is the spotting normal ... can I still be pregnant??? :S Man... this has been such a rough experience and today I just want to scream! I'm trying to stay positive and hope that those two embryos are still in there.

Sher -- It is still possible to have spotting and still be pregnant. Many women have implantation bleeding with IVF. And a friend of mine had full on periods and didn't know she was pregnant until she was 18 weeks! Have you taken a HPT? If ER was 14 days ago, a First Response Early Response should be pretty accurate by now. I'll keep everything crossed for you. Hang in there.

Hi Lou... Thanks for your response. I did a HPT maybe 3 days ago and it was negative. My husband did get a cheap test tho (lol) so I wonder if I should get a good one.

Sher - 3 days ago was too soon. The earliest you can get a reliable result is 14 dpo in most cases. I don't like to test before my beta because I like to believe I could be pregnant as long as possible. But if I were spotting I might change my mind. Good luck. I really hope you get good news. I've seen stranger things happen on this board and know anything is possible.

Hey Lou-- loved the pics! Maybe I can get my hubby to take me to Paris...LOL! We are grounded for our vacation (staycation); fertility treatments have drained our pockets...but we are having a yard sale soon How crazy is that-- to look forward to cleaning out a bunch of stuff?!?!?!

Lou - your pictures are great! Parking for Bon Jovi here was $40-$50 depending on the lot. Our friend had VIP tix so we didn't have to pay. Beer was $9 though. I went to see the Pats in Miami a couple of years ago, and for what parking cost and a pain it is to get to Foxboro, I would rather go to away events. The 10 to 12 follicles can catch up. As I get closer to ER I usually get a few more eggs than I thought I would get, cuz they catch up.

Ok I can't scroll back and see the name of the person who just posted about being 11dpt cuz I am on IPod. I just wanted to say good luck and hopefully that is implantation bleeding. Try the early response test.

Lou Absolutely love the pictures! I can commiserate in regards to clinics...I know they get busy, but if they say they are going to call with your second beta (for example!) before the end of the day, and then don't call until 11 am the next day--it can make a woman batty! Hoping that your follies continue to grow and that you have an easy transfer early next week!
Sher Hoping for the best for you...I know that the waiting is just so difficult....you are in my prayers.

Past few days have been VERY busy - just had to spend 30 minutes getting caught up on where everyone is at. I'm so sorry for those of you that have gotten bad news recently - my heart goes out to you.

I just did my trigger shot - ER is scheduled for Monday morning. I'm a bit nervous about my follicles - I've got 5 that are decent size. One that is huge - 33 mm and then 4 that are 16-18mm. My E2 is 1268 - do you guys think it is high enough? I feel like it is a bit low. I'm very frustrated that there are not more mature follicles to work with again! I'm hoping this time around that there are eggs in all 5 mature follicles, but have fears that I'm going to be in the same place as last cycle (no embryos making it to transfer). I guess on Monday morning I will find out # of eggs when we do the retrieval. In the meantime, I'm going to try to just relax and have faith that it will work this time. In the back of my mind though I'm starting to wonder if we have more than just male factor issues working against us. I really thought I would respond well to the meds, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I'm so glad to be done with the shots - looking forward to Monday and having more answers... now if I can get some sleep

AFM - I have my next u/s, b/w on Monday morning after they upped my meds and claimed I was "right on track" whatever the hell that means. I'm getting deeper and deeper into crazy-town.
