Wow! It's so hard to keep up with you ladies! So much going on!

Lou--6 fertilized is great! :D Hoping they are doing well and transfer on Sunday!

Tammy--Sounds like you have quite a healthy bunch of follies in there! I'm glad you have help with Zach while you're resting. I bet you can't wait til Friday!

Miyaya--The financial part of all of this is trying. I'm sure that you'll think of something. It will come...don't worry.

Ester--Yay! Finally! Glad you're getting started!

Sher--Lots of ladies on this board have been in your shoes and have made it through to deliver beautiful healthy babies. You will too. Hang in there!

Lauren319--Your pictures are too cute! I was reading about your fragile x factor thing. I know that it has to be hard to deal with, but at least you know. I'm sure lots of people have it and have no idea. I am about to choose an egg donor. They do lots of genetic testing. I'm not sure which. I will ask about this one too. I think that some are the usual standard, but some are optional upon request. As for your Lexus....made me laugh. So far, I am about at a nice new Toyota. Today I got the financial numbers for the egg donor and could definitely do Lexus or BMW. So....car or baby? Car or Baby? Looks like....baby. I guess I will continue to drive my old Lexus.

Tiger--When choosing your donor...was it really difficult for you and DH? How much info do you get? Photos? I'm praying that this one works for you!

AFM....The office preview was yesterday and the broker preview is tomorrow. Yesterday went well. Now I have to clean again tomorrow and leave for 3 hours. What a pain the @ss! I went for an acupuncture treatment today. I also talked to the lady at the ED agency. She sent me the numbers for the ED process.....ouch! I did ask for more photos of the girl and her family and they sent them. She's really cute. What is so sad is that her mom is 39 and her dad is 41....that's our ages. Anyway, I am going to put her on hold. I have to sign a stack of paperwork and write a big check. We are going to try naturally this weekend and if it's a negative then we will start BCP to sync our cycles. The good news is, if I happen to get pregnant this cycle, we could cancel and it will only cost $500. I won't be holding my breath for that. It's still pretty nerve racking doing this. I still can't believe that this is what I have to do to get pregnant. Unbelievable! My biggest concern is that we spend the money and it doesn't work...then what? I'm going to try and stay positive. I do feel good about our donor so far. I will be getting more photos of her tomorrow.

Have a good night!
~Karin~

Franny...if you take 271 south near Cleveland...in Ohio going to Cincinnati from NY on Monday...wave to me while I am getting my transfer done! My clinic is right by the freeway! lol

Ester...Yayy! I was getting tired of dancing. lol Cant wait to hear how everything goes tomorrow. Cant wait to see Charlie St Cloud.

Fitz...Good Luck tomorrow! Soo happy that everything is working out now! Get some rest and then let us know how everything went! I have no idea why your picture wont work for you, but yet I can get it to work. I'm sorry.

Klinger...Ugh. I'm so very very sorry. So unfair. Please stick around...we will be here for quite some time...and we will miss you. Hugs.

Amanda...I'm just so very very sorry. Hugs.

Tiger...PUPO!!! Hope everything went well today and you will get your BFP very soon!

Jenna...Hi and Welcome! Wow...you have really been through alot...thanks for sharing your story! Sticky baby dust to you. 3 5-day blasts is awesome! 3dt means 3 day transfer. Also when someone says that they are (for example) 11dp3dt...it means they are 11 days past a 3 day transfer or 14dpo...14 days past ovulation. Same thing.

Miyaya...Gosh, that is a toughie. Good Luck in your decisions. I hope an answer becomes crystal clear to you very soon.

Lou...6 is terrific! Very exciting! Take it easy girl...forget about work for now. lol I hope you get a Sunday transfer...but dont forget Zach is from a 3 day transfer...so I am all about 3 day transfers. My miscarriage is from a 5 day transfer...so I'm a bit biased now.

DJ-BJ...I am very sorry. Hugs.

Sher...Congratulations you are pregnant!!! Like the girls said...it is all about the rise. Keep the PMA!

Jenny...Hi and Welcome! I completely agree with you and was just talking about the same thing the other day. 4 transferred? Awesome!

Kbillsy...Good Luck tomorrow at your ET!!! 2 embies sounds perfect!

Lauren319...I'm so sorry about the fragile x disorder and very glad that you are on top of everything with it. Lexus...lol. :D

Karin...Soo exciting that you think you found the perfect donor. It makes me giddy with excitement ...so I can only imagine how you must be feeling. You have such a great attitude and your enthusiasm and perseverance is contagious.

Margi...Good Luck at your ultrasound on Friday! I am sending up lots of prayers! I'm still mad at your lab.

Cakes...Woohoo!!! Awesome news! Sounds like they are doing terrific! Very exciting!

To everyone else...Hugs and Baby Dust to all and to all a good night! lol :P

Thanks ladies! Yesterday I was just so down. I felt like I just wanted to get away from it all, that not thinking about it might make it easier. But then I realized how much I love reading everyone's updates and and I can't stop following your progress now. There's too many exciting things happening! So you're stuck with me I guess, though I'll just be a cheerleader for awhile. :) I go back on Friday for another beta and hopefully my numbers will have made it back down to 0.

Amanda - I'm so very sorry. I know what it's like to have that elation that comes with a BFP only to have your world turned upside down within days. It's just not fair.

Ester - YAY on AF finally showing!! I was soooo happy to read that update of yours!

Lou - congrats on 6 fertilizing! That's great news!

Karin - I'll be hoping that trying naturally this cycle does the trick, but if it doesn't I'm glad you've got a donor in mind now.

Franny - I'd be happy to stim along with you in September!

Tammy & Lauren - Good luck tomorrow with your ER!

And good luck to everyone I missed!

Klinger...I hope your beta numbers drop back to 0 quickly for you. I'm just so sorry that this happened to you.

Fitz...Good Luck today!!!

I just called and got my E2 levels from yesterday...1410! Very happy with that.

I also have a quick question...did DH get to be in the room with you during ER? For the life of me...I cant remember. And, I had a spinal due to them not liking my responses on the questionaire to anesthesia...so I was awake for the ER. Which by the way was very very cool. Bill thinks he was in the room with me...and since it was a spinal...he very well could have been. I'm hoping to be put out tomorrow though, I hated the spinal, they had a very difficult time getting it in. So was your DH in the room with you?

Oh and while I am at it...I wanted to share this picture of Bill and Zach at the hot air balloon festival Saturday night. I just love this photo.

Tammy -- ER tomorrow!!! Hooray! DH did not get to be in the room with me for it. They escorted him away to do his part about the same time they took me. Your numbers look hopeful for 6 mature ones, that's great!!! I'm fine with a 3dt, as long as they look good. But I was really hoping for a couple of frosties too. So if I go in tomorrow, that means there's a few that don't look good. So nervewracking!

Amanda -- I'm so sorry! It looks like you had a chemical pregnancy hun.

Sher -- 58 could be very good! It's the rise that matters. Good luck! I'm optimistic for you. I've seen numbers lower than that make it!

Lauren319 -- Thanks for the info on Fragile X. I really didn't know anything about it. Nor did I know to even test for it.

Klinger -- I'm so sorry! But I'm so glad you are sticking with us! You will have lots of cheerleaders in September!

Jenny -- I hear ya... we are all cash pay for IVF and meds so your rant hit the nail on the head for me. Good luck with your cycle!

Margi -- Glad your beta rose but I'm sorry it's not the jump you were hoping for. I am wishing you the best for tomorrows u/s.

Fitz -- Good luck with ER. Glad you weren't cancelled this late in the game.

DJ-BJ -- So sorry for your BFN.

Miyaya-- What a tough decision you have to make about your job! I'm sure you'll do whats right for you. I'm crossing my fingers that you are pregnant and won't need the $ for another IVF cycle.

Lauren1171 -- ER tomorrow!!! I'll be thinking of you. My dog Roxy is a Boxer as well!

Es -- Awww... you should post a pic of your Boxer. Aren't they awesome dogs? Sooo glad AF finally came for you.

Karin-- I'm so happy and excited for you that you found a donor you feel good with. I think that's the hard part. Donor cycles have excellent success rates... around 80%!

Jenna -- How are you feeling? I think you have great chances if you transferred 3 blasts. That's awesome.

Cakes -- Glad your embies are doing well! I hope mine are too. If I get to have a 5dt, then it will be Sunday and I will soon join you in the 2ww.

Tiger -- PUPO!!! I've got everything... and I do mean everything crossed for you. I'll be joining you in crazy town soon enough..lol. Oh, I love the ocean, and everything in it. The bigger the better. I've even been swimming/diving with humpback whales and their babies, whale sharks, bull sharks, lemon sharks, etc... you name it! Thinking about all that makes me REALLLLLY miss diving. It's been over a year since we've gone. It's just not compatible with IVF let alone the expense right now. <sigh>

Franny -- Thanks for stoppy by and giving encouragement. Your trip sounds like a lot of fun. You deserve it! Enjoy! We will miss you.

AFM -- Still a bit sore from ER... WTH? I wonder how my 6 embabies are doing. I hope enough of them are doing well and I get a 5dt. I will find out tomorrow morning whether or not I go in tomorrow or Sunday. I'm hoping to get an acupuncture treatment in before and after transfer. My clinic is an hour away, so as long as they give me 2 hrs notice if it's tomorrow, I should be able to stop by my friends office and get "stuck". I'm not looking forward to sitting around tomorrow morning waiting for that call. :?

Klinger – I am so sorry for your loss. I can’t imagine how much you are hurting right now, but on a bright note, you know that you can get pregnant. It will happen for you. I hope you stick around, we would love to have you stay here  Big hugs to you.

Jenny – I know. I cannot tell you how frustrating it has been to deal with insurance companies. I am always confused when certain things are covered, like bloodwork and testing..but not the IVF part? Makes no sense to me. We’ve had so many mistakes, that I have to check everything with a fine tooth comb. We’ve caught so many mistakes, I think I’ve saved us over $4000 by things being classified incorrectly. This whole process has taught me to question everything and that we have to be our own advocates and not to accept no as the final result! Ugh.

Margi – I think your beta result is awesome! It’s high and continuing to rise! PMA girl! Can’t wait to hear your results tomorrow.

Lauren319 – thank you for sharing…I’ll have to ask about that…well, I guess it’s a little late at this point, but good to know!

Sher – CONGRATS! You are pregnant. That is totally normal. They usually check your levels every two days. Some people have 2-4 betas – each 2 days apart. They want to see it increase by 66% every 2 days. Can’t wait to hear your next beta!

Lauren1171- yeah for triggering! That’s sure a big needle…isn’t it. Wishing you lots of love and luck on your ER on Friday. You’ll be pupo before you know it!

Moorebaby – finally she shows her ugly head! Ugh, she must have received my letter in the mail to get the heck back from vacation. I’m so excited that you get to start! I have a great feeling about it!

Amanda1979- I am so sorry that you and DH are going through this. It’s just terrible. Take all the time you need and we are here to support you in anyway we can. Can you ask your current RE more questions and see if he/she has any thoughts on what to do differently? Follow your gut and it never hurts to do a little exploring on other RE’s.

Tammy – Wowsa my friend, you are having just a great cycle! This is amazing!!!! YEAH! Love that photo..so beautiful!

Fitz – I am so glad that you are back on track!

Miyaya – Wow that’s such a hard decision. I guess it’s good to have choices. Is there any benefit changes or something that sets one apart? Sending you vibes of peace to help you make the right choice for you and DH. I know the financial challenges that come with all of this. I have to believe that sometimes things will fall into place. Maybe not immediately, but have faith that a door will open for you and make this possible. Maybe do the best you can right now and keep trying.

Lou – THAT IS FABULOUS NEWS! WHAT A GREAT FERT REPORT! Aren’t you thrilled? Everything is looking great! Thank you for having everything crossed, remember to breath though  Amazing, you are just amazing, I could not imagine being in the ocean with a huge whale like that, one gulp and you could go right in! Yikes! But awesome. Just imagine you taking your child diving some day…doesn’t that make you happy! Soon enough my friend and then it will all be worth it! Come join me in crazy town! It’s so much fun! You are just the best, keep up the PMA!

Franny – So good to hear from you and I’m glad you made it to NY safely. Patron is my absolute favorite. Nothing better than a margarita! Have one for me, okay?

Karin – When we chose our donor, we received a whole medical background, going back 3 generations, and a questionnaire on physical features and also academic and extra-curricular stuff. I opted in to pay for the baby picture, because that was important to DH and I. We could have paid to receive a photo of an adult picture, but we decided against it. They also provide an essay. Some of the questions were what characteristics do you want to pass down to your children, why are you participating in being a donor, what’s your favorite childhood memory…that was nice because I feel like we could see a little bit of the personality through the writing. It was really difficult for DH and I, but when you’re at the last rung of the ladder, your options are running out. At the end of the day, we wanted to have children and having our own was no longer an option, so when we got to that point, it made the decision a lot easier. Then, when we found our donor, that we just felt really good about, it made it even easier. The donor was so much like DH that it just reinforced that it’s just genetics and so much of raising a child is the physical parenting. There is no doubt in my mind that our DS or DD will be so much like DH regardless that it’s not genetically his. Karin, you are doing great through all of this, I can totally relate, and it’s such a hard choice. I know, you can’t believe that this is what it is coming too, that this is how we have to get pregnant. I always try and be grateful for what I have, just the most generous, loving, caring husband in the whole world, we are both healthy, have a wonderful family and a beautiful home. This is just our struggle..this is our stumbling block in life. It sucks. A lot. But, if we can get through this, we can get through anything. Try and focus on the positives in your life and remember, this is just your struggle. This whole journey has made me a lot less jugdgemental of others around. It reminds me that when someone is having a bad day, that you just don’t know, you don’t know what their struggle is. Do they have a sick parent, or child, or abusive relationship, or health issues? So much people don’t share with each other, like I don’t share our IF struggles. It’s taught me not to assume and be patient and kind. We are here for you and I know you can get through this and you are going to have a positive outcome. It’s going to work.

Lots of love and baby dust to all!
