Hi All,
Just to let everyone know that I'm CLUELESS! on this dumb computer. I'm lucky I can send an email  I can photograph the beautiful bouquet I just made but I couldn't get the picture out of the camera...teehee:) Any way, my DH has been super busy at work because of the crazy storms we've been having in the Chicago area so he is on mandatory OT. He's been dead tired when he gets home. He works for the phone co as a repairman and lightning, water and wind don't work well with phone wires. They're trying to get him to work all through the weekend but we're going to Michigan on Sat to visit with my family at my cousin's place. He really needs the time off. He still needs to sign the consents for our next cycle but he can't get there before they close. They can't order any meds until he signs off. I just can't wait to get this thing started again!!! Just venting! I do personals in the AM.

Chili~ I am from the Chicago area and the storms have been unreal this year. I'm hoping this isn't a sign of what is to come for winter. Have a nice trip this weekend and enjoy the time with your husband.

Kbillsy~ Congrats on getting to the 2ww. I'm sure I'll be just like you and anything I can do to help the process along I will.

Ester~ I teach third grade...this will be my 12th year at that grade. I love my job also, but not so ready to go back this year. I guess I am just caught up in all the IVF stuff, but the distraction will probably be good for me. I start back on August 23 and the kids coms AUgust 25. We can't get back into our classrooms until August 12 so I am trying to enjoy my last few days of freedom. I'm glad that you were able to start your shots. Have a great day at the beach!

Karin~ You're in the process of making such a difficult decision. Follow your heart. It sounds like you are really thinking everything through which is great.

dys24~ Welcome and Thanks for the info regarding bcp and lupron. Nothing happening yet, but hopefully soon. I'm ready to get started. Good luck to you...

Lauren 1171 and Tammy~ Thinking of both of you today!

To everyone else that I don't have time to get to today...I am following each of your journeys and am praying for the best for all.

AFM...Waiting on AF so I can go get baseline us and bw done. I am so ready to move to the next step...will it ever be here?

I have been posting back and forth between here at "June Cycle" .

I went for my U/S today, and not good news. Fetal pole and sac, but no HB.

They will repeat in a week, to see if one develops, but said that there is a 99% chance this is not a viable pregnancy, so I guess this is most likely it for us. He said even if they do then see one next week, that it woud be such late development it is probably not likely to continue.

This is our 3rd, and final IVF try.

I don't know what to say or feel...I definitely don't know what to tell people. I guess I am awaiting m/c at this point? :(

Sorry to bring bad news, but needed to let it out to "someone"...

I am home from ER. I got 12 eggs! The doc said that my left overy was hidden behind my uturus, and hard to get to. She said she is confident that she got all the mature ones. I am fine with 12 as long as I get 3 good ones!! My right side feels fine. My left is very sore though. I am going to rest and then go lay out in the sun lol!

Margi,

I´m so sorry to hear his. Let´s see what happens next week in any case and forget about telling people, it´s not the important issue.

WHy is it your final attempt? Yo see you are able to get pregnant so why not give it another try?

AFM -- I'm putting my "and for me" section at the top this time, hehe. Well, this AM I waited for "the call" from my clinic as to whether or not I was having a 3dt today or a 5dt on Sunday. They called about 8AM and told me we're going to Sunday!!!! I am really excited. I asked her how my 6 embies are doing and she said she didn't have that info. She just said that their criteria to go to a 5dt was having at leasst 4 embryos of excellent quality on day 3. So I at least have that. I'm very hopeful! :D

Margi -- Oh hun... I am so sorry! That is such heartbreaking news. I was so praying youwould get good news today at your u/s. Is there really that little hope? I remember a similar case on these boards about a year ago where on the f/u scan there WAS a heartbeat and it was a viable pregnancy. I'll pray for that for you.

Lauren1171 -- 12 eggs is great news! Congrats! Can't wait for the fert report.

Tammy -- Woo hoo for 9 eggs! There's definitely some good ones in there. That's awesome! I'll have to get some diving pics up when I'm on bedrest after ET. Too bad you're afraid of the ocean. It's really an awesome place. I've been busy watching Shark Week this week too on Discovery. And I am feeling better today, thanks!

Lauren319 -- Sorry you were feeling so down. Any better today? Try not to worry too much. This first time could really work for you!

Tiger -- Thanks so much for our kind words. Yes, I am happy with my fert report. I'll definitely post a couple of diving pics when I'm resting after ET. How are you feeling? Any cramping?

Fitz -- Holy cow!!! 24 eggs????? WOW! Congrats! You could rival the Duggars with that!!! LOL

Babyluv -- Thanks so much for stopping by! I really appreciate your continued support. It's a 5dt for me this time! How are you feeling twin mama?

Rebecca -- Nice to see you here again! You'll be stimming in no time!

dys24 -- Welcome! You're just in time. Good luck with your cycle.

Karin -- I think you're doing the right thing with your donor seeing RE before plunking down $. As for the red hair issue.... red can certainly skip generations. My great grandmother had red hair and no one else does... well... except my 2nd cousins new baby. So there you have your explanation! Don't worry about that minor detail if everything else feels right. Are you telling any family that you are using a donor and doing IVF?

Ester -- I feel much better today, thanks. Aww... my dog isn't spooked by ANYTHING. Not storms or fireworks even. She's so mellow. Woo hoo for starting stims! Grow some amazing eggies, k?

kbillsy -- I'm so glad your 2 embies made it to transfer! Welcome to the 2ww. I'll be joining you Sunday.

Chili-- Thanks for the tea info! I'm printing it out and going to ask about it. :D

Oh my gosh! Such good news today from all of you ladies! It's so good to hear! :D :D :D

Lou--I am so happy about your update! You did so good! Very proud of you! :)

Lauren1171--DOZEN!!!! Awesome!

Tammy--9 Good Eggs! You must be stoked!

Fitz--16 Fertilized is really good! :D I wish some of you egg-makers would rub off on me!

Ester--Thanks for moving me on the list! You're doing an excellent job!

Rebecca--Doing the AF dance for you!

Chili--You sound like me on the computer. I thought about trying to post a pic, but don't even want to go there. I have enough stress in my life right now. When I need help...I have my 11 yr old help me. She knows way more than me. I hope you get started soon! So....does your tea taste like dirt?

Renee--I was thinking about you. When is your beta?

AFM....I looked into a couple of donors from other agencies that were possibilities before I found 'Bre'. I had them send me more photos of family and childhood. I got them this morning and none of them compare to Bre. I called the agency this morning and told the lady my concerns about red hair and that's why I was requesting more photos. It seems that the more photos I get, the more I like her. I just think that she's the one for us. I did have to write a $5000 check just to retain her. She will go to my doctor for preliminary screening before we get into her fees and all of the other big stuff. I will have to pay for her exam, which I would have to pay for anyway. If something happens and I change my mind, I do lose $500. If something happens and i don't get a good report from my RE, I could pick someone else from their agency and not lose anything. DH and I have such a good feeling about her. I can't explain it...from the moment I saw her first photo. So...looks like I've got myself a donor.....YAY!!! :D :D :D

I hope that everyone has a wonderful weekend! All of you ladies that had ER and ET....TAKE IT EASY!!!!

Hello everyone

We met with our RE today. I called the office yesterday & told them we did not want to wait until Aug 31st to see the RE and we got in today. We are going to do another 2 cycles with the shared-risk program . The next cycle is in October, so I feel alittle better. Atleast we know the game plan now which makes it somewhat easier.

Quick update, because I'm soooo excited!!!!

Whoo hoo! This board is going to take a turn towards the positive!!!

RE called me himself a little while ago and told me all 7 of my embryos are doing well. I said "Seven?". And he explained one was a "late cleaver". He didn't put a lot of stock into it, but who knows? It might catch up! He was REALLY happy with this cycle he said. I told him how I'm not taking "no" for an answer this time and he giggled and said "you know what? Neither am I!". That was great to hear. My ET is Sunday at 10:30AM. I asked him the dumb question of whether or not he was going to be there (there's 2 docs in the group) and he said "nah, I don't think I can make it on Sunday." So we laughed and he said "we've always had such easy transfers with you that this time I'm pretty sure you can do it yourself." Can you even picture that???? We also decided that we are transferring two blasts and freezing any good leftovers. :D

Amanda -- That's great news! I just know you will have success on your next cycle. October is just around the corner and you'll have a BFP in no time! :) :)

Karin -- What a great post! It makes me so happy that you found the right donor. Decision making can be agonizing but when you go through the process to do it right and know you did, it's very satisfying. That's what you guys did and I'm really proud of you. This is sooooo going to work and you will get your baby! :) :)

Lou - Will be thinking of you Sunday! Great, great news that you'll be doing a 5dt, woo-hoo!!

Lauren & Tammy - Great ER results! Can't wait to hear awesome fert reports!

Karin - I'm so glad you have a donor! I hope the RE gives her the thumbs up too!

Amanda - I'm glad to hear you'll be cycling again soon. Are you going to follow the same protocol?

Fitz - congrats on 16 fertilizing, wow!!!

Margi - I'm sorry you're going through this, but I do hope it just implanted a little late and the next scan will show the h/b. It's hard to keep your spirits up but don't give up all hope just yet.

AFM, AF came on with a fury yesterday and today it was super heavy & crampy so I fully expected my hCG level to be back down to zero today (from Tuesday's level of 10.) Instead it came in at 37. WTH!! Now normally I'd be please with that doubling, but not with these low numbers, heavy bleeding, etc. RE's going to keep a close eye on things - we're all hoping it's not another e/p - so I go back for another beta on Monday.

Oh no Klinger...hoping and praying that it is not another tubal. I'm glad to hear the doc is retesting you again Monday and watching you closely.

Karin...glad that Bre feels like the right for you and DH and that everything is falling right into place.

Lou...AWESOME news!!! So exciting!

Amanda...glad to hear that you got in to see the doc today...I hate waiting too. You'll be trying again in October and pregnant in no time!

Fitz...16 fertilized is terrific! Woohoo!

Dys...Yes, I'm sometimes on the parents board...though it has been awhile. You are almost there...soooo exciting! Hope ER goes smoothly this time and they get lots of good mature eggs.

AFM: We all got a decent nap this afternoon...but, I'm hurting again now...so gonna go lay back down. I dont remember being in this much pain last time or bleeding. Oh well...it'll all be worth it.

Oh by the way...they did put me under this time (no spinal and watching it all) and DH was busy with his part while I was in there...like you all said he would be. lol He was sooo happy to finally have coffee after his part (I wouldnt let him have any for the past few weeks even while working 15 hr days)...that the nurses gave him 3 cups of french vanilla. lol
