AFM- I'm having a rough time all of a sudden. I'm feeling very negative. I'm so worried that something is going to happen. I keep on hearing about so many IVF's don't work the first time and how many women miscarry. I'm now afraid to be happy about my BFP b/c I don't want to get excited and then be devastated. Has anyone else felt this way? How have you dealt w/these feelings

MARCI---Congrats on your BFP!!! That is great news.
Mrs IVF your feelings are very normal. We IVFers find out everything so early and analyze every cramp, and tingle that we feel. The worry doesn't go away. After things settle then you worry about all the testing your ob will do and so on. Just getting pregnant is a step in the right direction. Some unfortunatly don't work out (ivf or not). Just try to relax and lean on this board of lovely ladies(and gentlemen) for support. It is a long road with many speedbumps ( But worth it all the way)!!

Everything seems to be happenin fast,lot off good news though.
Seems like i am struggling with this stomache issue.
Any advise ladies i feel so bloated after ET,Mr Dr will be back on tues
am constipated nauseaus ,i feel horrble.
irritable bowel you name it ,could it be the effect of progesterone .....
ladies that went through ET did you experience the same thing...pls help

neliswe - sorry your not feeling good - could it be a touch of OHSS? I haven't had anything so can't comment - but it would be worth telling the clinic?
Mrs IVF - totally understand the negativity - I thought it would all be over when I finally finally got a BFP - and they you realise thats just when the next set of anxiety begins! I couldn't believe I was left feeling even more highly strung then before! Its because your getting closer! Treat this as a small wonderful step as a step in the right direction. Take each day as it comes. You've come through one cross roads now - and your so very much closer to a successful pregnancy and being a mom. Kia kaha! Everything will be fine.

I had my second US today. I feel sooooooooo deflated. Can't explain. The eggs are a good size - but I was kind of rushed in and out - and now there are only 7 eggs - which I am sure was way less than friday (can't remember). Doctor didn't seem concerned. Don't they realise this is worse then life or death! Expect to trigger tonight and go for collection on Tuesday. I am stresssssing because I get the one doctor I didn't want for probably both the collection AND the transfer. I'm reassured by the clinic. But this person has done three failed transfers for me now - two of them totally bungled. Macsi - can I ask you your Ob/gyn is at the clinic? Who did you transfer? Was it all okay?

Melo- don´t worry about the number changing, there will probably be more at retrieval, and you just need one good one. I was really rushed through this morning also, they did a rough count and only measured the lead. Last IVf they measured and recorded all of them. Our clinic is extremely busy this cycle.
Newisi-Try to keep up your electrolites, drink gatorade and eat salty food.
Hope the rest of you are still doing well. Baby dust to everyone.

Macsi-thanks for message. Hope your second beta goes great tomorrow! Mrs IVF hope the anxiety is lessening. Why can't I get the dread of results day out of head and just take this day by day!

This wait is killing me...I went for my beta test this morning and I'm dying waiting for my phone call. I wish the would call and get it over with...I have gone through 9 HPT's in 3 days...This morning I peed on my one and only digital(I left that for last) and it said pregnant so I just want my beta numbers and to hear from them that I am actually pregnant!!!! I need something to do!!!

My RE called and informed me that I'M PREGNANT!!!!!! My beta was 63.5 and my progesterone was over 400. I'm so happy right now. I go for my second beta on Wednesday.
I'm going shopping to celebrate. I'll do personals later. Loads of baby dust to everyone!!!!!
