hi girls

well we saw our little blighted ovum yesterday and our HCG is down to 866 and progesterone is down to 6. We unfortunately now have a full AF flow so it is a a full m/c. Very sad yesterday all day even though we tried to prepare ourseves for this it still broke our hearts. So now we will be moving over to the September cycle buddies since we will be trying our second fresh cycle in late Sept. I am really hoping that September is our lucky month.

Good luck to all of you wonderful ladies I could not have done this without your wonderful support, comfort and optimism. You have made this difficult journey so much easier for me. Thank you especially for your positive attitude and encouragement when everyone else in our life was not optimistic. I will keep you guys in my prayers

Tammy – I am not doing bedrest, but I’m taking it easy for sure! I bought a pineapple two days ago, so it can’t hurt right? I’m so excited that your follies just started growing! It will be great! Yeah for 9 eggs! I have a feeling zach is going to have a sibling very soon! How exciting!

Karin – You are so sweet! It’s so wonderful to have someone to talk with about this. I completely understand, you pick apart the donors so much, but like you said, you will never find someone exactly like YOU! You are special, but we just have to remember that you and DH, for me, will be so apparent in the child. Genetics only goes so far. I totally agree. Because my DH had his first testicular biopsy and they found sperm, and then during the second one they didn’t, it took both of us a long time to get to the place where we wanted to move forward with donor sperm. Since he had sperm at one time, there was still hope for us that some day we could have our own biological child. I did tons of research online and found one of the best dr’s in the world in California. I called him and he has this leading technology for doing tissue mapping that hopefully would lead to finding sperm in the tissue during a biopsy. DH and I talked about it for a long time and realized that we could spend over 30k on this, plus travel, plus, plus, plus and have no guartentee that this dr would be successful. It would take probably over a year to go through all of this and we could end up in the same position we are now! So, for us, we decided that making the decision now to move forward was best and to not wait. To tell you the truth, I’ve never second guessed our decision now. If anything, I know now more than ever that we made the right one for us. I had to trust my gut, and my gut said that they were never going to find any sperm. A year had gone by between the first biopsy and the second one and since there was barely any sperm in the first sample, I think that whatever was there a year ago was gone. If I could have done things differently, I would have gone through IVF immediately after his first biopsy vs waiting a year to save up money. But, I can’t get upset about that, because we tried to make the best decisions we could at the time. I’m really proud of you and think that you are making a great decision. I think it’s the best thing to move forward quickly with donor egg to increase your chances. Way to go!

Moorebaby – YEAH FOR GETTING STARTED! I know you are going to grow follies like crazy! How many did you have last cycle?

Lauren319- that’s good news that they are lowering your dose, it should give you more time for the other follies to catch up! You just never know how many you will get.

KBill – congratulations! You are PUPO! Eat some pineapple…it’s yummy anyway!

Margi- I am so so very sorry. Take all the time that you need. You’ve gotten so close! Why have you chosen to stop your journey?

So i trigger tonight!!!! ER Monday ET Thursday. E2 levels yesterday were in the 2000's and have 14 follies over 17mm and a couple over 13mm. Have to go to Walmart to stock up on some gatorade. They are worried about OHSS, i think I will be fine last year had a smiliar amount of follies 12 i think and i was fine. Well we will see.

Would a chemical pregnancy have shown a negative result on a HPT when I tested too early last week ?

If you tested too early last week...then it was too early regardless of whether it was a chemical pregnancy or it made it to term. A chemical generally means when the numbers never really got very high before dropping again. Hugs.

11 out of 12 fertilized!!! And my RE is doing the transfer in Monday. He is never on duty when I am there so I think it's a good sign.

After our big appointment with the class and everything, they said he was finished and could go while I had bloodwork done. Then they had me do the consent and he was already gone. He was supposed to come in and sign it, but I really don't think he ever did.

AFM: I have been trying to stay busy. I was scheduled to go in for my U/S on Aug 12. However, over the last few days I have been pretty itchy. Last night it turned into a rash. Then, this afternoon some welts on my face. I am afraid that is the PIO. I called the RE on call and he wants to see me tomorrow morning. I hope he will go ahead and do the U/S even though it maybe to early too see a heartbeat (5w5d).

AFM...just got back from a wonderful vacation with DH...had a great time and got lots of much needed rest! DH starts a new job on Monday, which is great because he worked overnight with his last job. Now I have him back at night!! I just started Provera yesterday for 7 days to bring on AF....this should be THE AF....I'll go in for my baseline as soon as she comes and (crossing fingers) start stims after that!!! I'm a little nervous since my last baseline showed the tumors, but I can't imagine anymore grew in the 6 weeks since surgery...right?? If there are any dancers out there feel free to start the AF dance for me early!!! If all works according to, or close to plan I should be having ER the first week of September. I hope you don't kick me out of the summer group!

Hello Ladies!

I have been keeping up with everyone and you all are in my prayers.

I had my ET today and it was a fairly easy process. Of coursre, I had to lay flat for an hour. They gave me a pic of my two babies and informed me that they were of good quality, they dont do grades. I have three to freeze as of this morning and they are still hopefully that a few more will freeze. They will call me in the am on Sunday and let me know.

I will have my BW done on 8/16. Im going to crazy and drive my husband even crazier. I have all kind of emotions going on. Words cannot explain it. I got 2 babies inside of me! I have never had this before. Im going to get some rest and I will do personals later.

Just wanted to take the time to tell you wonderful ladies how thankful that I found each one of you and that you all took the time to welcome me.

Quick question for all you ladies...I read all this talk about different names of protocals. I have no idea what protocals I'm doing! Anyone know?? I'll be on Follistim, Ganirelix, and my trigger is Pregnyl. I'm just curious if it has a name thanks!!
