Hey ladies!!! Yayyy Krissy and MrsIVF. Both those betas sound great!! Well I went in for my US and as expected it is 2. One measured right on at 5w2d. The other sac was a bit smaller in size and measured 4w6d. So only 2 days back but I am not getting my hopes up either way. I am very worried about the whole twins thing. It really freaks me out. I will have another US Friday and next Tuessday. Hopefully HB will show up by next Tuesday. Good luck to all the ER and ET's tomorrow rest up and keep us posted. Betas let us know. Sticky vibes to everyone!!

Maybe I'll make this into a separate topic

Ok...I had my beta today and it was 63.5. Looking at everyone else's numbers it seems low and then when I look at some of the signatures where they had a chemical they had low numbers like I did...I'm so freaked out now. Is this a low beta? Someone help me!!!
7/19: Start 175 Follistim
7/22: 175 Follistim
1 vial of Menopur

IVF that is not a low number especially b/c your only what 10-12 days past transfer? Low would be 20 or under. And I have seen some that low take off.

Hello, Ladies
I had my second blood test today-the beta was 782. Another test in a week.
Melo P, how did your ER procedure go today? How are you feeling? To send a PM you have to write your replay in the window where the original message is, just after it. I think you can also delete the message and just type your replay. Does it make sense?
Mrs IVF, don't worry, the number is good-the test is possitive.Congratulations! The important thing is to double next 72 hours.

My BFP high is gone!! My US looked ok one baby measured 5week2days (which I was) the other 4week6days. I was very happy but cautious. Then later that afternoon the office called and my HCG dropped from 2640 to2160. I know that isn't good. Hopefully it is just the smaller one and not both. I cried all night. Today has been better I got my hair cut and DH is home so I have stayed pretty calm.
ER's how are you doing? Do you have your fertilize report and a transfer date?

Oh this roller coaster is hellish.

Katie - don't fret sweetie. It sounds highly probable that maybe the second one has not come through. That must be hard to deal with too. but kia kaha - your HCG is still very high. Hold on to your next scan and blood test - and we're all sending you virtual hugs to help relax you.

Mrs IVF Hope your okay too. When is your next Beta.

Macsi - thanks! When is your next beta and US?

AFM: I am getting very despondant - and blanket bombing questions to Ghost and all and Sundry. As noted on August post (I feel rotten double dipping on thread support! But feel bad exiting either!!)) however in short they retreived 10. I was hopeful. Had good blood. Eggs good size. However Day One fertilizaition update this morning . . . . and only 6 of the 10 fertilized (in short bit schocked - as this is a lower rate than normal for me, and even cycles with better fertilization didn't work), much worse yet of those 6 - only 4 split "classically" or evenly with even nuclei. Am really starting to panic the writing is on the wall here. I know it only takes one. But only 40% of the embryos viable on day one - which is still incredbily early - is really really freakin scary. What does it mean? I can't bear the waiting to find out what is happening tomorrow.

Ladies - please tell me - all those with BFP's and DD/DS's or even implantation. How were the results of your fresh? I.e. number of viable embroys and what they looke like. Do I have any hope?

Hi Girls!
MrsIVF - For my first ivf my 1s beta was 52 & we went on to have a healthy pregnancy from there. My numbers slowly creeped up & up & eventually went through the roof. Some of us just start out with numbers like that - try to keep a positive outlook - you've got a lil' bean growing inside you that needs all the good vibes u can send its way :D !
Katie - Hoping & praying for you tonight my dear. I'm comforted by the fact there are 2 separate sacs, I'm guessing that's a good thing, right?? Please know we are all pulling for you & your dh!

AFM - will stop bcp in two days, start Lupron tonight. Have to psych myself up to do the shot thing again...last time was in November of '07. I've been spotting off & on since Saturday. Called Dr Monday & they weren't too concerned...although she did say she was hoping that after I stop the bcp that I'd have more than mere spotting. If that doesn't happen...I don't know what the protocol would be...stay on Lupron?? If only my body would just follow this protocol all would be good. I know what's going on...I've been so excited about the timing working out "just right" that my body is fighting back a bit. I'm a teacher & school starts second week of September...so if things worked out as they were planned then ER & ET would all happen prior to the school year starting. Can't have it all I guess.

Mrs IVf- Congrats onthe BFP. Your numbers sound fine

Krissy- I wouldn't worry about the slight drop. The number is still really high.

Soccermon- glad to hear you'll be back in the game.

Melo- Wow you sure found out info quickly. You have 4 dividing nicely that's excellent, If they keep dividing you'll have some frosties as well.

AFM-Spent most of the day sleeping off the meds. ER 18, which is lower than my last 2 cycles. Keep trying to remind myself that we're going for quality not quantity. Have 2 wait until tomorrow afternoon to find out the fertilization rate, and won't know about division until Thursday. My belly's still aching, going to take a tylonel and head back to bed.

Hugs and positive wishes to everyone

Hi Heidi - enjoy the recovery. I am going nuts. 18 eggs? Thats unreal? And thats LESS than last time? I'm really not feeling hopeful about the fact I only have 4 that are contenders right now!

Hi Melo P
In my case 12 eggs were retireved , 7 fertilised and 5 survived to day 5-1 transfered and 4 frozen.
It is entirely possible that 4 will go on to become blasties.
