I see you're in NY and I know you didn't ask about it but I'm having an amazing experience at RMA. It's definitely one to look into if you could. I'm on my first IVF cycle and I'm pregnant. I have had amazing service from them. My RE was great and the entire staff was very pleasant and nice to work with.
What are your thoughts on Long Island IVF, East Coast Fertility, North Shore LIJ, Cornell and NYU?
Thanks
I've heard good things about Cornell and NYU. Don't know much about the others. Might be great.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
Hi there, I started w/ Cornell and did 4 IUI's, found the practice large and a little impressonal also not all drs were covered by my insurance so sometimes Ihad to pay-however never knew until I got there- that was a little annoying, being that my insurance does cover IUI and IVF. When I got to IVF i was told they didnt take any insurance, so i had to find a differnt clinic. I live on the NY/CT border- so now i am w/ RMA of CT and love it- no copays at all! The clinic is also smaller so much more personal

i had a terrible experience at Cornell. It is like a total factory.. i did 2 cycles hated every minute.. totally impersonal a different RE does the retirevals depending on what day ( i never had my own re for either retrieval or transfer)
I have been working with Drew Tortoriello at the Sher iNstitute and think he is amazing!!! go to www.haveababy.com.. they will do a free consult.. it is very personal and i highly highly recomend.

Yeah, the big ones are less personal as a rule. I should have been clearer. Cornell has a great rep for their embryology.

Don't know how you feel about driving but I went to Infertility Solutions in Allentown, PA and LOVED it! I did IVM and am now pregnant. Small, very personal, I cried when I left there to go to my OB. I know 2 other girls on here had success there too.

Thanks for all the replies. It sounds like most places are good. I guess its just so hit or miss if you get pregnant or not. I'm "unexplained" (which is nonsense, obviously SOMETHING is wrong) and am really not sure if I want to try again after 8 failures (2 fresh, 6 frozen, 3 chemical pregnancies). I''m looking for a new place, but honestly, not sure if anyone can help me until someone finds out what really is wrong with me.
Sable, looks like we are around the same age and TTC for the same amount of time. I'm 34 and DH is 35 and we have been TTC for 4 years. Sigh.
