lauren1171- tesa stands for testicular sperm aspiration. i guess some doctors put you out, but dh's doctor says it's not necessary b/c once the testicle is numb, you can't feel anything. yeah my dh is a weirdo for watching. he says he probably won't this time, lol!

Hi girls.

It's been a hectic busy day for me but I wanted to stop in for a quick post before bed. Sorry for the lack of personals tonight. I did read everyone's posts though.

I am really hating PIO! I'm getting so sore back there, lol. Other than that, I'm having occasional non-specific cramps and twinges. With my BFP last time I had fairly strong cramps and lower backache on dpo 7,8,& 9. Not this time though. Not sure if that means anything. I'm trying to stay positive. My gay bff texted me "so when do you see your doctor so he can tell you you're having twins." I told him not so fast but he said "shush, I just know this is the time and you're going to have twins!" Everyone is so positive especially DH. I'm going to feel terrible if I let them all down. My poor tummy is so bloated I can barely close my pants! Ugh, what we go through.

Baby dust to all.

Hi Amaut--
I think that you had asked about sunbathing with Lupron-- I was on a Lupron protocol and I was also told not to sunbathe. One day we had a special parade in town and I went to see it...I sat down on the curb (because there wasn't any other place) and needless to say, I was in the sun for less than 15 minutes before I started turning wicked red on my arms and face (I don't usually burn). Then I remembered what the RE had said-- so I found some shade and got out of the sun. You might want to be careful about that.

Rebecca - YAY for AF arriving! Glad you got to start your stims!!

dys - hope ET went well today! Post when you can.

Ryann - I wish AF would get here for you so you can get started. Still dancing for you :D

Lou - I think your bff is right on with his prediction! I can't wait till your beta day gets here!

lauren319 - hope you get great news when you find out about your embryos. And LMAO at the sandwich comment - I don't normally watch The View but one of my friends texted me to watch it when she saw it was about infertility. I just kept thinking, this girl needs to eat something and stop worrying about fitting into sample size clothes. Geesh!!

jenna - hoping it's still too early or the "later in the day" urine didn't have a high enough concentration of hCG. Hope that BFN changes to a BFP really soon!

AFM - things are still going in a positive direction as far as betas. Today's # was 714 (Monday's was 198) so more than doubled again. I go back Monday morning for my 5th (yes 5th) beta and then we'll do an u/s on Tuesday morning. I'm keeping a positive outlook but I'm still very cautious especially after the last e/p and knowing that I'm still bleeding, still cramping, have low numbers overall, etc. It will be one nerve wracking weekend - but now I just patiently (yeah, right) wait for Monday & Tuesday.

Hey Everyone,

Jenna, it may have been to early to test. Im praying that when you go in on Monday, it willbe a BFP!

AFM--It seems that I am not having heartburns but chest pains. It may be OHSS, so my RE is having me come in tomorrow for BW and US. They want to make sure that my ovaries arent enlarged. At least no more nausea. I still have a few cramps here and there. Im keeping my fingers/toes crossed that everything is okay. I hope my embabies did some implantation, at least one of them.

Moorebaby – Yeah for being half way through your stims! I can empathize, my DH had 2 tesa’s…ouch. He took it like a champ though. He, however, did not look at the needle. Yikes. Looks like you have a lot of good eggs growing in there! That’s super exciting! I’m sorry you are so emotional. I know, sometimes it feels like nothing is easy! Ugh. I’ve had it with insurance, seriously. I can’t believe that you needed approval for this Tesa. Seems weird to me! Hang in there sister.

Lauren319- tell me about it. 2ww is hell.

Lauren1171- that’s cute. Maybe it’s a premonition! My beta is 8/16, so I think I am going to POAS that morning. I haven’t scheduled my beta yet because I’m doing IUI, I try to be more patient and usually by my beta date I can tell if I’m going to get my period, so why waste my money on a stupid blood test! I’m a huge fan of POAS. I can’t control myself.

Jenna – try to stay positive. You should definitely test again.

Klinger – this is fabulous news! Just keep up that positive attitude and make sure no exercise and just lay low. I am so excited that things are going well for you!

AFM: I am dying over here ladies. Seriously, slowest week of my life ever! Monday could not be here soon enough. Maybe I will test on Sunday…

Every time I come on here, I feel so behind with what's going on.

Jenna - Jenna, it's all good. You could have been too early. You're only at 11 days. how are you feeling otherwise??

Karin - who the hell risks getting arrested for $38. I say go big or go home. Ugh. Enjoy your trip.

Fitz - YAY for your ET news. How are you doing? Any cramping?

Tammy - don't even listen to percentages. I can tell you that every step along the way with all of my diagnoses (although negative) they would tell me that there was "only a 2-3% chance" that the results they were seeing was true...and they always were. For example, I'm blood type AB-. Of course there's a chance things won't work out, but if you really thought they wouldn't, you wouldn't be here. I'm rooting for you. Root for yourself and your unborn babies!!

Klinger - Everything's looking great! Can't wait for Monday or Tuesday's results. So soon!

Lou - 5 more days! I can't believe you're not gonna POAS. It would drive me crazy. You guys will see. I'll POAS every day. HAHA.

S and S - Good thoughts your way!!

Dys - ET Today!! Write when you're up for it!! Good Luck!

Rebecca - Good luck tomorrow with your u/s.

Cakes - Does this mean that they can tell you more about your implantation because they'll do an u/s??

Lauren1171- How are our triplets?? Perhaps your stepdaughter is just intuitive ;)

Ester - your DH is so weird, dude. He watched? I think I'd faint.

Tiger - no POAS?

AFM - 5 of the 6 got through the single cell extraction for PGD. I hope they're normal and make it to Saturday! So nervous. Also, is there a reason I have the worst acid reflux in the world?

Don't have much time but just wanted to say that I've been tempted to POAS too! I have 3 tests so I had planned on doing one Sat, one Sun and one Monday (beta day), but today I keep thinking maybe I should shift that up a day and start tomorrow...

Jenna - I can see that you are just as anxious as me - I think it's probably too early for both of us and we need to just relax and find something to distract us for another day or 2 before getting into the POAS!

Cakes - hope everything is ok. Maybe if you are doing B/W and U/S tomorrow they will be able to tell if you are pg before Monday! Good luck!

Lauren319 - yay for 5 making it so far!! Sat is just around the corner - don't be nervous!!

So much more to comment on but gotta run!! Talk later!

Hi you guys,
is there some trick to keeping track of who asked what?? Lol!
I did test too early I think. I have a stuffy nose, AND I think I'm getting a UTI.....ouch!
:? Ok, so lets see - My beta is really scheduled for Monday, I did a DOLLAR store test - is that really that bad?? This stuffy nose is making me crazy....My estrogen and progesterone is all fine....Lauren - you test when I do!!! Maybe we can be busy this weekend - then we can have it fly by and go right into monday before we know it!! :P
Whoever was talking CHest Pains - I had those with my OHSS too...really sharp ones! kinda scary!!
Love and hugs to you all with a heaping helping of baby dust!

fitz -- Yes, cramps on or around ET day are common. I've had them with my BFN and BFP cycles. It's the cramps a few days later that may indicate a BFP (implantation).

Amanda -- How are you feeling? Heck no! It's not time for you to give up on your own eggs. Your last cycle came pretty darn close to a BFP! I can't believe your doc would suggest that!

Sunshine -- Glad you are doing well. I know you must be taking things one step at a time since you had a m/c. But I'm so glad things are good so far. This time will be different... you'll see. I know I'm going to be the same way though....lol.

dys -- Why did you do a 3dt if you had 9 embies? My clinic does 5dt if you have more than 4 good ones on day 3. Did you freeze any? How are the OHSS symptoms? I hope you are feeling better and less bloated.

Rebecca -- Yay for starting stims! Good luck at your appt tomorrow!!! Hope you are feeling better though.

Tiger -- LOL... "circle and dot"... too cute! I LOVE it!!! Oh how I hope this time is different for you. It's gotta be, right? Thanks for cheering Circle and Dot on! I'm starting to feel better about this cycle. Are you going to POAS on Monday? Isn't that your beta day? Mine is Tues. I'm not going to POAS.

Es -- How goes stims? Sounds like you are growing a beautiful crop of eggies! PUPO land is still as tough as ever. Is it tuesday yet (my beta day)? I did my Ganirelix in the evening at the same time as the Follistim. And I cannot believe your DH watched the TESA procedure! The thought of cutting into their boys makes most men cringe and shudder. Did your insurance approval go though??? You've got a LOT going on right now girlie! And shame on your clinic staff for writing something like that in your chart! How insensitive!

Cakes -- How's the OHSS symptoms? RE must be worried about you to have to back tomorrow to check. I'm glad he's keeping a close eye on you. I'm not going to POAS either!!! So don't do it. They don't call them evil sticks for nothing! Remember a negative might not really be negative and a positive doesn't tell you a number.

Lauren1171 -- How are you doing in PUPO land? Your story was funny... heck, I look pregnant too I'm so bloated!

Jenna -- Nooooo.... don't use the evil sticks!!! They aren't accurate this early and just bum you out. Remember, the HPT can be negative on beta day and you could STILL get a BFP. My RE says, "it's not negative until it's negative by blood test".

klinger -- Thanks for your thoughts on my bff's prediction. I guess we shall see! I am feeling a bit more optimistic about this cycle though. I've got everything crossed for your 5th beta Monday and u/s Tuesday. Why make you come back twice? Why not just do the darn u/s on Monday once and for all? Can you ask for that when you get there?

Lauren319 -- haha... I didn't POAS my last cycle and I got a BFP, so I don't want to break tradition. My first IVF and FET I did and the negative HPT's really took a toll on my PMA. I really just want to believe I could be pregnant as long as possible. And I don't want to jinx it! Besides, I've seen so much happen on this board that a HPT doesn't tell you much, so why do it? If it's negative, well, it could still turn into a BFP on beta day. And if it's positive, you can't celebrate because you don't know if the number is high enough to be viable (i.e. chemical pregnancy). I just don't need the emotional roller coaster. But if it was my first IVF... you bet I would test! But this is my fourth ET. I can wait the 2 weeks. Got everything crossed for your cycle hun.... I hope when you POAS, you get that beautiful second line we all love to see. I'm sooo happy 5 of 6 got through the PGD process. When do you get your results back? ET is Saturday? I'll be thinking of you! The acid reflux could be stress related.

Franny -- You are sorely missed around here! I hope you are having a spectacular time on your vacation. Re-engergize yourself!

AFM -- Today is 9dpo or 4dp5dt. Today I am verrrry crampy. And extremely fatigued. Could barely keep my eyes open all day despite sleeping well last night. OK, except for a wacky vivid dream. Don't really know what to make of it all, but I'm staying optimistic. Is it Tuesday yet?

There's a lot of us in the 2ww... c'mon ladies, fess up with your symptoms! Anyone else crampy and tired like me?
