moorebaby- I'm thinking about you today. GL on your transfer!

Lou- I'm so sorry my heart is just breaking for you :(

Sorry for missing some of you but I'm reading all of your updates.

AFM I went to walmart in the morning to stock up on my pregnancy test and of course i couldn't resist I POAS today 6dp3dt and BFP!!!!!!!! its light but my DH can even see it, I'm in shock. I dont think its my trigger shot i only triggered with 3,000 hcg i think that would be long gone but staying cautious hopefully tomorrow the line will be darker. I did get a bfp with my DD at 7dp3dt so I'm hopeful. I will have to wait and see.

Lou - Aw honey, I was so hoping hoping for the other answer. I know theres nothing I can say that will help it hurt less, but know that I'm thinking of you & DH. Actually you have a boatload of people cheering you on. A lot of girls ( myself included ) had better luck with A FET so i'm pulling for that. I know that no one knows why this doesnt always work, but a FET can be easier on your body since theres no stim meds to get your endometrium and ovaries/ hormone levels in an uproar. We have to just keep pushing forward, it just takes some of us longer is all. For Gi and myself it was the the 7th attempt that finally took. You will get there! - much love to you my friend - xoxoxo

Well ladies, another BFN for me this month. I got my period this morning. I’m super bummed. I don’t know what to do, because the clomid is affecting my lining. In July, my lining was a 7 going into the IUI. In August it was a 5, so it’s causing it to decrease. If I go ahead with another one this month, I am concerned that it’s not going to work. I just feel so defeated. How many times is this going to take? Ugh.

Teresa – got it. Well that stinks that you drove all the way there for nothing. Hopefully it’s not too far away for you! Ok, well next week sounds great! Can’t wait for you to get started!

Rebecca – I’m glad everything is going well for you! Grow embies grow!

Ryann – that’s great that your principal is so supportive…that takes a huge stress off of things. I’ll really cheering for you!

Didi – thanks for sharing, you should not be sorry that you got a BFP. We are all so happy for you! That’s why we are all here! Congratulations! I hear you loud and clear. Sometimes I feel the same way, like that I’ve been wanting this for so long that when it actually happens, will I be able to enjoy it or am I just going to be more freaked out each step of the journey. I think it’s totally normal and don’t blame you for being cautious. When you’ve been through so much, we’re just used to having to guard our hearts. BUT, that doesn’t mean that goods things won’t happen! I am going to keep praying for a healthy pregnancy for you and have all the faith that this will be great! Keep us updated!

Miyaya – that sounds like a good idea. It’s good to get DH involved in something and I hear you, most of the crap falls on us. I’m really glad that you are moving forward with adoption. Please keep us in the loop on how everything is coming.

Dys- congratulations on your BFP! That’s awesome!

Would you guys bother using that Crinone today and tomorrow if you were me? I did not do it today. The nurse said, "She would advise me to continue using it until my beta." It's pretty gross putting that in when it will probably just come out anyway, and is there really a point? My bleeding last night was real heavy. I had to get up twice in the middle of the night. It's not as bad today, but still going pretty good.

Tiger - I am sorry to hear about your bad news. We have been hearing mostly bad news here lately. It sucks! Sometimes I wonder if my RE is going for 5 cycles because he knows that is all I can afford to do. Probably shooting blanks up there! If my Ins covered 7 cycles it would probably not work until the 7th! I think most people on here are saying when will it be my turn? It's pretty crazy! Then you see people who get pregnant left and right and have abortions cuz they don't want them. Why is the Clomid decreasing your lining thickness? I have never heard of that happening? What did your RE suggest?

Hey Ladies,

Just wanted to let you all know that today is 11dpt5dt and my beta is only 47. It has risen a little, but not much. My RE wants me to come back in on Friday for another beta. I feel like it is over and they keep prolonging it. Im about to drive myself insane.

lauren- i know you're feeling bummed & defeated b/c you've been bleeding, but personally i'd continue w/ the crinone, as messy as it may be. i guess i'd just want to know in the end that i did everything right & what i was supposed to. i'm still hoping that you'll get your bfp on friday.

lauren319- oh i don't get any more reports as long as everything's going good, so they'll only call me if there's a problem. so i'm praying that my 2 embabies are growing & dividing nicely & i don't see "uconn" on my caller id.

tiger- oh sweetie i'm really sorry. that just so unfair! (((HUGS))) will you be meeting w/ your re to discuss the cycle? you should ask if there's something else you can take instead of the clomid or if there's anything you can take w/ the clomid, so your lining isn't affected.

fitz- i'm really glad that the bleeding has stopped & your pma is back! not much longer & you'll have your bfp.

dys- that is awesome news! can't wait to hear what happens tomorrow! my et is tomorrow, not today, but thanks!

miyaya- great to hear from you! i'm glad that you gave dh some duties b/c we do end up doing most of the tasks. whichever direction you choose...adoption &/or another cycle...please continue to check in w/ us & keep us updated. i love the smell of a new car! thanks so much for your support & words of encuragement.

amanda1979- sounds like you & dh are having a blast...that's just what you need...glad you're enjoying yourselves!

didi- i'm so happy for you...sounds like everything's going great, even though you had a few scares. you're so right...it's just like climbing this super-tall ladder, & the higher you get, the worse the fall is if you fall. it really stinks that you still can't enjoy your pregnancy when there's constant worry that something will go wrong, but i'm confident that everything will work out for you. keep us updated! i'm not sure if icsi was done w/ the sperm from the tesa sample. when the nurse called to give me the fert report, her exact words were "6 eggs were icsi'd & 2 fertilized." i don't remember what she said exactly about the other 6 eggs, but i do know the term "icsi" was not used. i would assume they'd have to use icsi b/c the sperm tend to be not moving or moving slowly when they are taken out of the testicle b/c they are still immature.

ryann- i'm glad you're staying optimistic, as difficult as it may be w/ everything you're going through. high gang population, huh? wow...well be safe! glad your principal is very supportive...my principal & assistant prinicpal are aware of what's going on for the most part...they are very flexible w/ me & do everything they can to help...it really helps a lot! thanks so much for your words of support!

rebecca- yay i'm glad they found the magic potion that's making your follies grow...that's great news! let us know how your u/s & b/w goes today. glad your principal & assistant prinicpal are there supporting you...i'm in the same boat & it really takes so much stress off! thanks so much for your support!

lou- i know how you feel...be angry & pissed off...how could you not be? everything was going good & how could this not work??? i'm so sorry! every woman is different & so is every cycle, so this fet could be just what you need for your bfp. i'm thinking of you. (((HUGS))))

kbillsy- thanks so much for your supportive words! i used to think the same...oh we'll do ivf & get our baby(ies)...haha, bou was i wrong! sorry your re didn't call. i think your plan sounds good...i'm glad you're looking forward!

chris- thank you...i appreciate your words of encouragement! it means a lot! glad to see your quote back in your signature...you're such a strong & inspirational woman!

cakes- oh sweetie! i'm so sorry. sometimes i think even re's & nurses believe in prayer & miracles, so they may just want to continue a little longer w/ monitoring just in case. i know how you feel...i was in a very similar situation my 1st cycle. i pray that you get a miracle.

Claudia and Katie -- Thank you so much for your comforting words and support. You both mean a lot to me.

Tiger -- Aw crap! Not again. I'm sorry. I really wanted this to be your time.

Dys -- Congrats! 'Bout time this board had some positive news.

Lauren1171 -- You're bleeding from Crinone? I guess I would ask to switch to PIO then.

Cakes -- So sorry that you are in "beta hell". I hope you find out what's going on soon.

Es -- Thanks hun. I'm really pulling for your 2 embies. Not sure if my FET will fall in this group or not. I guess move me to the waiting for AF section. I'll start BCP's for my FET when she gets here.

AFM -- Cried all night and am still having a pity party for myself. Cried about my m/c some more and then at the thought of not having any family when I'm old and dying alone. Really pitiful, I know. I'm sorry guys... I'm just really in a funk right now. I'm thankful I have two frosties but concerned about FET success rates. This just has to work. Right?

moore- oh I'm sorry I thought you wrote somewhere that its today oh crap i thought today is thursday ! well GL tomorrow, i will be thinking about you tomorrow :)

lou- MY re says that good blasts have a 50-50 shot of pregnancy which means if you have two frozen than you have more than 50% which are great odds! I really hope it will work out for you, you deserve it!

cakes- I'm sorry about your slow rising beta :( hopefully you will get better news friday.

tiger- did you ask them if you can take estrogen pills vaginally? thats what increased my lining. You might want to ask.

dys -- Thanks for the info. I see you did a FET. Do you remember the grading by any chance? What success rate were you given? Were they vitrified? How many did you transfer. Thanks again.

Lauren319 -- Aw... just do it already! Might be too early so don't get down if it's neg. But you are going to be an addict, aren't ya?

Just popping in real quick...

Tiger- I'm so sorry that things didnt work out again. Dys24 mentioned doing estrogen vaginally which I also did during my IUIs. My lining was low on my second one so they had me do estrogen to help thicken it. Also have you discussed doing an IUI with injectibles instead of the clomid? I know its more expensive but maybe will be the way to go for you? Either way please know that I am here if you need to talk and please stay strong. ((((((((big hugs)))))))
