Franny - LMAO on the Teepee!! When I first took DH to my hometown, I had to show him the Teepee! And last year I made him try the waters - one of the waters wasn't bad but boy that sulphur water made us both queasy!

klinger...So glad to see the fall board up and going! For now I will be a stalker...as I hope for my BFP with this first one...but I'll be over there with you guys no matter what my results!!

Tammy...I am SO glad that you have decided to give it another go. I didn't get on here after your other post but I just kept thinking NO, TAMMY CAN'T GIVE UP!!!! So i was very excited to see that you aren't. I know that I don't actually KNOW you know you, but something tell me that another one is your cards. I hope you join the fall group so I can stalk you over there :)

Lauren319...STOP IT ALREADY!!! You better be done for a few days so you can keep up your PMA!

dys...I can't wait to hear about you positive beta tomorrow!!! I haven't started yet, I start on ThursdaY!!! DH and I can't believe it's here already! When we were told we had to wait 6 weeks after my surgery it seemed like an eternity...but POOF, here we are!

Rebecca...my district doesn't start til September 7th and I think that may be my ER, so I'm right there with you missing the first days! Good luck with your ER tomorrow!

Where was everyone this weekend!? I kept checking on my iPhone and began wondering if something was wrong with my phone!!! I don't think it has beent his slow yet! I took my last BCP todaY! YAYYYY!!!! I hate those things with a passion. Now just wait til Thursday for my baseline again and hopefully start stabbing myself! Just got word that construction on my school is complete and I can get into my classroom on Septe, ber 1st to start setting up...I will be 6 days into stims and then need to carry and unpack a bunch of boxes...anyone advise against this? I'm not sure if that's good for the ovaries or not. Another questions for you all too...when are we supposed to stop having sex before IVF? I feel like me RE mentioned this before, but she didn't say anything last week...just wondering when I need to be cut off :)

ryann- dh & i had sex up through my 5th day of being on stims...after that it was just too uncomfortable w/ my ovaries feeling so huge. as far as carrying stuff around, just make sure it's not too heavy, as ovaries can twist. i'm sure you won't be doing too much of that anyways since i pretty much know what it's like to set up a classroom. just ask the custodians to help if it's something heavy. yay for being done w/ bcp's!

tammy- i'm glad you & dh decided to give it another try. i have a really good feeling about you!

amanda- i'm kind of floating in & out of crazy town...lol! let me know if you need any help w/ setting up the list on the fall cycle group.

Everything from my classroom...and I mean EVERYTHING... is in my basement because they completely renovated the building...so there is quite a bit to lift and carry! I may be bugging the custodians quite a bit :)

Hi Rypell,
I really dont think you should be lifting anything my doctor told me I should not be doing anything once I have started on the stims I was told to put my feet up and be vry relaxed for at least 3 hrs after you have taken stims I was even told not to run up the stairs! as this will help the ovarys to relax to and wont be at risk of damage. I think you should get the DH or a friend to help you with your move backn to the Class room,

Good luck x

Tammy -- So glad you are giving it another go! You can so do this!!!

Ryann -- Be careful with the lifting. Definitely get someone to help you.

Ester -- How are you doing? Hanging in there?

klinger -- Thanks for taking initiative and starting the Fall group.

Rebecca -- Thinking of you! Good luck on ER!!

Franny -- Great to have you back! I'm so glad you had an awesome time.

Lauren319 -- Really? You're done POAS? You know it was too early don't you? But now you understand why I'm not a fan. Still pulling for you girl.

AFM -- Had a fairly busy weekend. Friday evening, DH and I grilled cold water lobster tails... omg... they were soooo good. And only $10 each for 8 oz tails! I want to get back for more. Went to a BBQ at DH's buddy's house on Saturday and we ended up staying really late. Sunday we played some tennis, went grocery shopping, and visited my grandparents. I was so glad DH was off. He works every other weekend. It stinks sometimes. He does get Wednesday's off, but who cares...lol. I'm still pretty deflated after my BFN last week. This one is staying with me a while. My nurse stopped by my house Friday (she lives up the street -- who knew?) to drop off my info for my FET. I'm on BCP's right now and start lupron on 9/7/10. My baseline is 9/17/10 and FET is on 10/15/10. I guess that officially puts me in the Fall group. Seems like a long time away. I'm sad because if this doesn't work, I don't think I can fit in another cycle this year. I have a business trip planned for the first week in December and my clinic closes down the last two weeks in December for procedures. I also turn 38 on November 28th. I had my consultation with RE on July 1st, 2009. I was 36 then and I thought by now I would maybe be contemplating #2. Life doesn't always work out the way we want it to, does it?

Lou - I'm sorry this one is hitting you so hard. I'm hopeful that the FET you have coming up will do the trick so you don't have to worry about future cycles. Glad you joined us on the Fall thread!

Ester - I'd appreciate any help you can send my way! Do you mind PM'ing me the codes you use on our list so I can use them on the Fall group?

Hey Friends,

Now as most of you know, I have been in Beta limbo since 8/13. Well today, my beta is 517 16dpt5dt!! Can someone tell me what in the world is going on!I have no idea. Did I have late implanters or what? Still not getting my hopes up. Normally, I love my RE and the clinic but she gave me some news that leaves me wondering if they (RE) wants to see me in crazytown. I have to wait until 9/7/10 @ 8:00am for an U/S!!!! WHAT!!! No more BW! No more office visits!!! How will I cope? This is worse than 2ww!!! UGH!!!!! Help please! Any suggestions, ideas? I do not know what to think/do at this point.

Hi Everyone,

Cakes, That's greatttttt news! Not so great about the long timeframe between now and our first u/s. I feel the same way in that my first u/s is tentative for 3 whole weeks after my first beta. So I'm looking at no earlier than 9/2. And my betas are only once a week. So I've been limiting my google and baby reseach time and trying to stay focused on things other than this madness : ) My DD just started 6th grade this morning and I'm still recovering from the swelling associated with OHSS, so am having to get creative with clothing. And then just sleeping : ) So far, so good. Good luck on your 2nd 2ww!

AFM, My 3rd beta this past Friday came in at 10,335 and I don't go back again until this coming Friday, the 27th. It saddens me to read all the unfortunate news on this thread and though I am extremely happy for my progress thus far, my heart breaks for all of these situations. Please know that I am thinking and praying for all of you and looking forward to read BFP everywhere! Thank you for all the advice, comforting words, and information.

Take Care and God Bless!

dys - Congratulations on the great beta!!! That's wonderful news!!

Renee - Glad you checked in and YAY for your rising betas!

Cakes - I'm so glad to hear your beta is doubling nicely now! But having experienced 2 e/ps this year, I personally would see if they would continue the betas and do the u/s earlier. With this last e/p, my numbers doubled (up until until the 5th draw when it came up just short of doubling) but they were on the really low end of the range the whole time. With a beta of 1724, they were able to see the sac outside of the uterus and free fluid in my abdomen - too late for the metho shot since something was leaking blood at that point, but at least we caught it before my situation got worse. I don't want to say all of that to scare you, I'm so hoping you just have a slow starter in there. But if there is something wrong going on in there, the earlier you can catch it the better.

Renee & Dys: Im so happy for you guys!!!

Klinger: Believe me, I tried to get them to keep on checking me but they will not. They feel that my numbers are going to keep rising and there is nothing they can do about anything until the U/S! And on that day, they still may not see anything. This so sucks! Im not getting my hopes up. I have already decided that if this doesnt work out, we are moving to the IVF#2. It is a waiting game right now. But from all the shots, pills, cream, and patches, I look pregnant and my shirts are getting too little but I dont want to buy maternity clothes! Again I say, UGH!!!!!!

dys- that is such terrific news! i'm so happy for you! twins is definitely a possibility :-) do you go back wednesday for your 2nd beta? i'm sure they'll just up your pio & you'll be good. i'm doing ok...1 more week for me. it's weird... a part of me is optmimistic, while the other part is being realistic about them being grade 4. i guess, i just keep moving forward no matter what the outcome is.

renee- that is a really great 3rd beta #! congrats! thank you so much for your support! are you having another beta or an u/s on the 27th?

cakes- you must be feeling so stressed right now! i know i would be. well, i have a really good feeling that you just had a late implanter & everything will work out! i hope the next 2 weeks fly by for you.

klinger13 (amanda)- i'm glad i was able to help out w/ the list. any more ?s just ask :-)

lou- yummy...you had me salivating about the lobster...love it! i'm glad you & dh were able to spend some nice quality time together. i'm going to pray for your fet in october to give you your miracle that you so deserve. no, sometimes life is not what you had planned for it to be...that is definitely true.

lauren319- where are you poas queen? miss you around here. got everything crossed for you chica! just 2 more days.

rebecca- thinking of you. how did er go?

DCRunningMama- how did er go yesterday? have you received your fert report? any idea when the et will be?

ryann- please don't lift anything! i didn't know EVERYTHING was in the basement.

tammy- thinking of you!
