Brandy and Franny - any sign of AF yet?

lauren1171 - I'm so glad posting the pic worked! At first I could only see ears and the body so I'm like oooh what kind of dog is this? Then I clicked on the pic and it expanded the rest of the way and instant heart melt...what a cutie!!!

lou - Roxy is so adorable and I love the pic of Roxy and your cat snuggling...that is beyond cute!! I really think these fur-babies (dogs and/or cats) of ours help us get through the hard times with their snuggly, happy, adorable ways.

Tiger - Was thinking of you all weekend. Hope your IUI went well!

Chili...Happy Anniversary! I hope you get the best gift of all!

Ester...I can't wait to hear your news!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry for all of you who are following the summer and fall group, but I'm copying and pasting my AFM section!

AFM...Had my RE appt this morning to check my follies. She doesn't say much. All of you who have gone through this...does your RE just tell you how many follies and how big...or do you ask questions? I feel like she doesn't tell me anything. She did say though that my right ovary isn't responding much, which isn't suprising, but the left seems to be doing ok. I peeked at the sheet the nurse had on the desk while she was drawing my blood and I BELIEVE it said I have 10+ follies under 10mm and 7 follies over 10mm. Took bloodwork as well so I should hear this afternoon if my meds are staying the same or need adjusting. On the ultrasound I could see a bunch of little bubbles on the left ovary and the RE said there were some "plump ones" so we shall see! Another appt on Wednesday, so any follie dancers out there are welcome to dance for mine!

Ryann...I don't understand why she doesn't tell you how many follies and how big. She should tell you without you having to ask. Tell her you want the details. I always try to do a recap before I leave. I say so....this many and this big...right? Of course mine are always easy because there's not a lot to recap...lol. Sounds like they're growing though. We are all sending positive thoughts and prayers your way!

Thanks Karin...I don't know why either!

I just got a call from the nurse and she said my bloodwork (is that the E2 I hear you all speak of???) was high at 830, so they cut my Follistim in half (75) and I am to start my Ganirelix tonight as well. I have another appt tomorrow rather than Wednesday now. Since I am new to all of this...should I be worried??

Ester- Good luck today with your Beta I cant wait to hear about your BFP! :D

DC & Rebecca- Congrats on being PUPO! Did you guys hear on whether they froze any of your other embies?

Ryann- I'm glad your follies are growing nicely. My RE never tells me anything either but the nurse usually calls in the afternoon and tells me how many follies and what size I have. Glad your shot at the baseball game went well too. I envy you girls who have DH do the shots because my hubby will only do the PIO because I cant do those on my own!

Chili- Sorry to hear you werent feeling well at the bridal shower but I'm glad the wedding went well and its all over with. Yay for no more BCP and for starting Lupron tomorrow!!!

Lauren319- How are you feeling? Have you decided what you are going to do with your next cycle?

Ashley- How are you doing? Tomorrow is you big day YAY! Did you end up POAS?

AFM- Stims went well this weekend but I gave myself a horrible bruise with the Lupron! Good news is I'm not having an allergic reaction to the Menopur which I did with the Repronex last cycle. Do you guys think that maybe my eggs were bad quality because I was having a reaction to the Repronex? Anyway, I had a blood draw this morning to check to see if they need to adjust my follistim and my next SnS is Wed. morning. Hope everyone is doing well and Happy Monday!

Sorry Ryann looks like we were posting around the same time. I had the same thing happen with me last time. I started at 150iu and then my E2 came back too high so they lowered it to 100iu then to 75iu then back up to 100iu then back down to 75iu and then 50iu. I dont know if that is normal or if its just a result of my PCOS making so many eggs and therefore making so much estrogen. I would leave a message for your nurse or ask tomorrow morning for more info if you are worried.

another bfn...so mad i can't even cry. actually i don't even think i'm mad, just calm right now...weird! it probably hasn't hit me yet. have a consult w/ the re october 11th to discuss options, which i know dh is not in agreement w/...he doesn't want to do donor sperm & i know that's what the re will discuss. i told this to dh & he said he's aware of that, but we have to go the consult anyways in order to cycle again. i feel bad for him! i hope the re will let us cycle again if it's not w/ donor sperm. i don't think he'd turn us down...he's getting paid. can he? ugh...this is so frustrating!

Ester - I am so sorry!! I was really hoping you would get some good news. I feel bad for your DH too, because although what we do is hard, what he had to do (twice) sucks!!! I hope you can take some time to heal and grieve. As for doing another, it's your money, so RE can not refuse whatever you and DH decide.

Es - F************CK! I'm so sorry. I was seriously rooting for you. This sucks. Is there any way to move up your appt??

Ryann - Adjusting your meds doesn't mean anything. They always do that based on your SnS. That's why you have to do bloodwork so often. And as for why you have to go two days in a row, it might just be that they want to monitor you closely because you may be close to trigger based upon your follies' growth rate. It sounds like you're on your way!

Lauren - I missed you! Welcome back.

AFM - This is so difficult. I'm now posting on here and the fall group. I started BCP yesterday and wait for a couple weeks for anything to actually happen. We're leaning towards a fresh cycle because we have the money for it now and might not later...also, it's prob easier to not do the injections when I already have a kid running around (positive thinking that I'll have a kid :)) Still deciding though...

Teresa...Thanks for sharing about your dosages...makes me feel a little better :) I'm just concerned with my blood levels being so high because I googled (I know I shouldn't) and read all about cancelled cycles!!!

Ester...I am so, so sorry. You know we are here for you when you need us. I agree with Lauren...why do you have to wait until October 11??

Lauren...I guess I'm not all too concerned about the changing meds, I'm just worried about the high blood levels...does that mean I'm more likely to get cancelled?? I like your positive thinking though about having a kid running around...we ALL we get there somehow, someway!

Ester --- Nooooooooooooo.... I'm so sorry and disappointed for you. I understand your anger completely. I felt the same way. I also worried that RE was going to "give up on us" at some point as well. I lost sleep over it. So I called and talked to the nurse who assured me that this is part of my journey and no one is giving up on me yet. I'm definitely not giving up on you yet either! So your RE can't either. I've seen BFP's on this board after 5, 6, 7 tries. So if you (and me) as the patient are willing to go forward, then our caregivers owe us the courtesy of trying. I mean, it's not like there was no response to stims or nothing left to transfer, etc. I believe as long as there are "okay" embies on transfer day.... it's just a matter of time before one sticks! God, I have to believe that. We can do this!
