Annisabug -
Crinone + PIO + 5 transferred...yeah I'd say Dr Kiltz is being pretty aggressive! But given your history, he really needs to swtich it up and try something like this & I just have such a good feeling that this is going to work beautifully for you.

I hope I didn't offend anyone in my post when I said I was only having 2 tranferred, I just wanted to clarify something It81 had asked me - she thought I had said I was having 5 transferred - given my history my Dr would never transfer so many...I might be the next show on TLC if that were the case  No thanks! The same Dr did transfer 5 for Annisabug...b/c every ivf patient is different. At any rate, ET is tomorrow morning!!

So this Crinone stuff is just down right nasty...anyone else get the lovely residual back-up from it?? And now with the addition of the little blue estrace pill (taken at a diff time of day) all that stuff has a blue tint to it  ! GROSS! I'm just thinking they'll need to somehow clear a path for the embies tomorrow am! Sorry ladies, that was way TMI...but I know someone out there understands.

Hi, this is my 1st time posting on here. We're going to be doing our 2nd FET in September, we did one in July and unfortunately it was bfn. We are so lucky to have a 3 1/2 year old son! We used a donor with him and were successful on our 1st attempt and had 10 embryos to freeze, now we have 8 left.

I'm so glad to have some people to talk to that are going through the same thing! Sticky thoughts for all of you! :)

soccermom I so understand what you are talking about...lol  I actually prefer the PIO injections to crinone but hang in there its for a good cause. For my FET we opted for the medicated cycle so we will be doing Lupron and then estrogen patches and after transfer PIO. I can't wait to start!!! my son was conceived in October 10 years ago so I am hoping it will be our Lucky month once again.

margi-----sweety how are you doing!!!! I have been thinking about you how low are your numbers...for my own sanity I even did a dollar store preg test and was happy and sad both to finally see it negative. Yea 4 weeks of this madness but I am so ready. I went with my baby sister to her ultrasound last Wednesday- she is 12 weeks and managed to keep it together until I got home before I cried...she was only 2 weeks ahead of me  But I know this time will be different and I am keeping a Positive attitude, eating better and excersizing so it must help...

Anissabug how are you feeling?

Hi Ladies,

I am going to do a Frozen cycle in September. I started my period yesterday and I am starting injections today.
I was blessed with a beautiful baby boy with my frech cycle last November and I am praying that history will repeat itself.
I am knocking on the door of 41 and time is really of essence.

Anyone else doing a FET cycle?

Looking forward to sharing this new journey with all of you.
Have a great LONG weekend.

Hi girls!
quick update: We had our ET this morning, we transferred 2 and froze 5! 9 eggs, 8 fertilized, 7 made it to day 5!!! "You have 7 beautiful amazing embryos!" The first words from my Dr's mouth today!!
After transfer, we went to the spa next door - which is affiliated w/ our clinic - and DH & I both had very relaxing acupuncture sessions. I totally fell asleep...I'm thinking the valium had a whole lot to do with it  . I did acupuncture after our last fresh transfer & it seemed to help - the result of which is running around the house right now proclaiming "loot at me mommy, I tan fly!" She has a hard time with her "k" sounds...can ya tell?
WAY bloated & 'backed up'...off to the drug store for some milk of mag...nurse today said it now comes in pill form...THANK GOD!
Annisabug - all I can say is AJAX! That's totally what the blue stuff reminds me of!

We went for another scan today and another good looking follie has appeared - yeah! :D So I'm up to 4 good sized follicles and they also said there is a fifth in there but unlikely to be a good enough size when it comes to egg collection.
My endometrium is also looking "nice and cosy" according to the nurse. They are measuring 14mm now. Does that sound big enough for me to be on track for my hcg on Wednesday does anyone know?

I did my first scan and b/w this morning. 6 follicles, a bit lower than the average. The doctor said the low number could be caused by age. The dose of FSH is increased. A follow-up scan is scheduled on Wed.
It81, it seems we have a very similar schedule.

Hi Emma, yeah, we are just a few days apart.

Did they down-reg you? I wasn't down regged because they already knew I would have a poor response. Thankfully I paid extra to have an AMH test so they would know the state of my ovarian reserve - I'm only 29 so without that test they would have had me on a different protocol that would have been even less successful than my 4 little follies.

Goodluck for tomorrow. I was told at my first scan that no more follicles would appear but another 2 did, so you never know, there might be some more in there :D but six is still a good number.

Hello everyone! It sounds as though everyone is doing great. I had my ER on Friday and we got 14 eggs, 12 mature and 10 fertilized. For some reason the procedure hurt this time and I was sick for the rest of the day. Went back in yesterday for a 3dt and we transferred 3 eggs at 6-7 cell. I hope that is good. It hurt this time as well. My doctor told me my cervix is very narrow and it took him about 20 minutes and a lot of pain for me to get the cath to the uterus. Yesterday I had some spotting and one very samll clot. I am hoping that is from all of the trauma I went through. My husband said there was a lot of blood on the caths. Today, I only had a little bit of spotting and some mild cramping. Has anyone else ever expereinced this? If so, was the outcome good?

I was at the grocery store last night and saw HPT's. They only had generic brands so I bought one that resembled the First Response. I tested this morning (6dp5dt) and it was negative. I plan to buy the actual First Response test after work today from the pharmacy, but am not feeling good about this cycle. My actual beta is on Friday.
