Looking for November Cycle Buddies

Post by Jessica2723 »

We are starting our 4th attempt and praying this time will work out for us. We received a BFN today from our FET. I will stop all of my meds today and wait for AF.

I have always found great support from this board and look forward to having some people to go through the journey with.

I'm sorry for your BFN. I'll be doing a FET myself next month with two frosties. We've got a nice group on the Fall board. Most of us are cycling Sept/Oct/Nov with a few who are on hold for later dates but still cheering others on and getting support. Come join us there if you want. :D

Hi ladies. I'm back...it's me Karen. :D For those who I haven't met...it's nice to meet you and be cycling with you. I have cycled with Lou before...and I'm sure we'll have many more joining us!

I'll be doing a cycle late Oct/early November. I'm having my transabdominal cerclage (TAC) put on this Friday. Then I just have to wait one AF cycle to start my next IVF. I can't believe I'm here already after losing my darling twins in July. But we have to move forward so that we can have our little bundle of joy! Big hug to everyone!

Hello girls.

Well we just tentatively scheduled our FET with out last 3 frosties for 11/19/10. I just had an incomplete miscarriage where I bleed for 5 weeks before my dr did a hysteroscopy to remove gestational tissue that my body didn't pass along with a polyp. I did acupuncture before my last FET but took a break with the miscarriage and surgery. I'm thinking I should start the acupunture again. Not sure if it helped us get pregnant this last time but I figured it can't hurt. Has anyone taken any vitamins or supplements? I read so many different things and I'm not really sure any of it matters with a FET cycle compared to a fresh cycle.

Hi there,

I'm hoping I can join in. I'm shooting for an FET in November. This past monday we trying the conception kit (anyone ever tried that?) and we'll do the same next month. I don't have much faith in it, but really there isn't much to lose right?

I cycled here in the past and my good had SOOO many BFP, I was near the end of the group and was getting nervous the baby dust would run out! But fortunately, there was plenty to go around! I had a BFP and many of the ladies did after me-- even a couple sets of twins! I'm hoping for the same with this group.

Hi girls I hope you don't mind adding one more. :) I did my first IVF in June/July and unfortunatly we miscarried at 7 weeks so long wait for beta to get to zero but we are finally here and will be doing our first FET in the first week of November (God willing!) I have already met a few of you and look forward to being cycle buddies :) DH and I have no support outside of this wonderful board and we could really use the encouragement. The miscarriage hit us pretty hard but we have to keep trying because having a family is everything to us. We have a great marriage...almost perfect except for the infertility :( and the rest of our family and friends are surrounded by people with babies and pregnant women and so no one understands us.
I look for ward to getting started. We will be starting Lupron on Oct 11th and even though I hate Lupron I am so excited to start. This will be a lucky board I can just feel it!

Welcome annashope and LisaB75, glad to have more company! I'm sitting around waiting for AF so I can call the office and schedule my trial transfer and my repeat labs. My husband and I tried the conception kit this month for the first time. It was kinda like doing home IUI....very wierd. But hey, certainly, can't hurt anything. We might try it again this month. Wouldn't it just be a dream to call the RE and say "no sorry you can cancel that FET, we're pregnant!!" ha ha, well i can dream can't I. Sometimes I wonder if knowing that there is a chance we could get pregnant on our own makes things better or worse. It's probably like one of those things-- the grass is always greener on the other side. It just seems like torture every month I get AF is so depressing...if i just knew for sure maybe I wouldn't get me hopes up every month.

Oh well, best to count my blessing instead of complaint. Looking forward to lots of fun her ladies. We have 8 total frozen eggs, but only 3 are good quality so we're going to try single FET until we use those 3. If we aren't pregnant by then we'll do another fresh cycle. I have the whole plan maps out to try to keep myself looking ahead if we don't have success. My clinic has great success rates with live transfers, but the FET success rates are pretty poor so I'm a little worried.

I know what you mean about always thinking that you could be pregnant. I am perfectly healthy and have a son from my previous marriage and my husband has 10% morphology which is not that bad but no one can explain why we haven't gotten pregnant. I will do this FET and God willing it works and if so I think I just may go back to using contraception just so I would not wonder and then get disappointed every month. I just can't stand it I feel like every month one of my friends announces that she is pregnant and we just keep being here but I honestly think it has been the hardest part for me- being in the 2ww every month and then the let down... We have had a couple of Chemical pregs in the last 3 years but nothing stuck ...ugh I think it is so stressful I wish it would just work and then we can not focus on it every month.
Anyways you are right we should count our blessings and soon we will all be pregnant too. November is the month!!! I feel it!!!
