dawgs- i had pretty bad bleeding after my 2nd retrieval but not the 1st or 3rd my RE made sure that my uterus didnt have any bleeding when we did ET I did spot for couple of days. I'm pretty sure its normal but you can call your nurse to make sure.

It looks like everyone has moved on from here, but I thought I would put this in writing and hopefully find some peace for myself. I just finished my first IVF cycle and received the phone call on Tuesday that it was a BFN and none of our extra embryos were able to be frozen. What a difficult day that was and I still find myself breaking down on the way home from work each day. My DH and I started this process 2 years ago and when we finally got to starting IVF I thought for sure this would be it. My heart is breaking. I know so many of you have been through this too and know what I'm feeling. It's hard.
We have a consultation scheduled for September 29th so I guess we just wait and see. Thank you to all of you for your support through my first attempt. It helped me more than you'll ever know.

Hi everyone! I have been disconnected for a long time. We left on vacation and came back just for the transfer on the 7th! And now there we are waiting until 9/20th. Let´s see what happens. LAst time it didn´t work so let´s see! I am not feeling anything........ and that´s killing me.

Just wanted to let everyone know - it didn't work out this time for my DH and me...we had a meeting with our dr. yesterday and he suggested 1 more go of it (next year) and then to strongly consider surrogacy...thanks everyone for all your support on this page

not sure if anyone still reads here but went for my u/s and 1 bean despite the high betas! beanie measures 4 days ahead so thats why the high betas RE thinks it must of implanted really fast. Anyway it was a pleasure cycling with all of you and i hope i will hear positive news on the fall board from all the ladies.

Greetings! I am new to this site. I just love all the support you all provide each other. Maybe you can help me decide whether to try another IVF cycle. I just discovered my donor egg failed her genetics consult; I'm devastated. I'm a healthy 45, a yoga teacher -- I feel like if I found the right clinic (I'll travel anywhere) with good success rates for women over 40, I know I could be part of that lucky minority. Any advice would be so appreciated.
