Il81,
How do you feel now? Was the procedure painful? When will you get more news?

Amesy,
I know how you feel now. I was at the same point two months ago: scared and worried. lt81 is right: there are tons of information you can find concerning IVF and ask your partner to do injection for you. Two adventages: he will be more involved in the process and secondly, it is less painful because you don't have to watch.

Annashope,
not bad, 4 follies and 4 embies. 100% sucess rate. Wish you luck for the FETcycle; how long will a FET cycle take?

Soccermom,
Very exciting! how long have you to wait between ET and beta test?

AFM,
Got a new scan today: my follies are growing super fast: they are 22-20mm. The EC is scheduled on Wed. and ET is Fri., if we get good embies. It is really too long to wait....

Wow Annashope - 8 vials of menopur! I thought three was bad!

We got five eggs today and will get a call from the embryologist in the morning to tell us how many were mature and have fertilised. I'm glad I continued, I think 5 is a good result given my issues. Feeling a bit tender and heavy now around the uterus/fallopian area. Apparently me and heavy sedation makes for some entertainment. They were playing music on the ward and as I was coming around I decided to have a sing along. My husband says I was very loud and he could only make out every other word (he had to keep telling me to shush). What can I say - I love to sing! And one of the songs was by Gary Barlow my absolute favourite (for those of you based outside the UK, he was the lead singer in the biggest boy band since the beatles and drop dead gorgeous!) . I also did a bit of pretend microphone holding too apparently to a bit of Bonnie Tyler!!!!

Emma good luck this week :D you will be PUPO before you know it! AFM I am due for AF in about 2 weeks and then midway through next cycle we start Lupron (yuck I hate how that stuff makes me feel) once I have a "Lupron period" we start Estrogen patches and as soon as the lining is good we transfer!! so by my calculations we will be transferring last week of October or first week of November which seems so far away. I wish it could be sooner but I am trying to be patient. DH and I planned a cruise into Eastern Caribbean right after our beta so the week of Thanksgiving- it will be so nice getting away.

Anyways good luck I am keeping my fingers crossed for you

YAY Annisabug!!! I knew this was your cycle!!!! 394...that's amazing!!! Wonder if that means multiples for you?!!!! Whatever the case, you deserve only the best for what you've been through :D !

I had my beta today too...BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My hcg was 39, but my progesterone was off the charts at 230!! I retest on Wed. too Annisabug! With DD my first beta was below 100 too, so must be my hcg generally starts out on the low end. Hopefully Wed b/w shows the hcg number doubling.

Emma, my ER was 8/30 and transfer was day 5 on 9/4. My beta was exactly 2wks after ER.

Annisabug and Soccermom, Congratulations!!!! That is soooo exciting!

Emma, the progesterone didn't hurt on my 1st cycle, but for some reason they doubled my amount on the FET cycle that's why it's so sore, but the shots themselves don't hurt at all ( I ice the area for 5 minutes before the shot and don't even feel it!)
I go back for another blood draw and ultrasound on Thursday, I hope we're getting close:) Please keep me updated on your cycle, I'm sure you will have some very sticky embies!

Hello ladies!
I am new to this forum and would like to introduce my self. I am 30 years old and am having a FET this month with the transfer to be done on the 23rd. I was diagnosed with POF (ovarian failure) at 27 and had a donor cycle in 2008. I was able to get pregnant on the first FET (after the fresh cycle failed). This year we have had 3 cycles (1 fresh and 2 FET) and none of them successful. There are only 2 more frozen embryos left for this cycle and hopefully I will be able to give my son a sibling.
I have been reading the posts and want to congratulate the ladies that got a BFP (have a healthy pregnancy) and good luck
to the ladies that are due for transfer.
Me 30 POF (ovarian failure)
DH 35 perfect (fertile)
3 unsuccessfull cycles so far
This FET cycle will be our last one as there are only 2 frozen embryos left.
9/15 blood test + scan
9/18 blood test + scan
9/23 Transfer
10/2 Beta test

Wishforthebest,
Welcome and thank you for sharing! I wish you luck for your new attempt.

Txcplforivf,
Welcome and thank you for sharing. I was at the same point two months ago: facing the first IVF. I was worried and scared and started looking for companies, which I found plenty here. the friends I met here are very supportive and understanding. If you have specific questions, you could start a new tread asking for Ghost. The abbreviation found in the General forum is very useful. Have fun!

Ilt8,
I am happy that you had fun during the EC. Getting 3 embryos is very good. How many are you going to transfer?

AdrianaP,
Thank you for the explanation. I would be on progesterone after the ET, if I am fortunately to proceed it. Very nervous now!

Sharona,
I started my cycle at the same day as yours. I had short protocol and generated in 7 measurable follies. The stimulation lasted 12 days and I will have my ER on Wed. Keep us updated, please!

Annisabug & Soccermom,
Congratulations! BFP!!!! Wow, you have to wait for 2weeks for the beta. TOO LONG! Is there a faster way? Waiting increases my stress :(
Anna,
Thank you for sharing. How do you do to keep patient? I really cannot do anything or make further plan for my next few days or even month to come….
AFM
The ovulation was triggered at 9:30pm yesterday and I have an appointment for EC at 8:00am tomorrow. It is my free day to day: no injection or scan :D , though have sharp pains on my left side. The bloating feeling has gone. Very anxious.
