Hazel - You are such a trooper. Hopefully labor will go very smoothly since Zorba is putting you through so much right now! Soon, soon, soon. Like your friend said, she'll be here next week!! OK, wait, just realized I said she. Hmm...for some reason I keep thinking Zorba is a girl, but I am NOTORIOUS for being wrong (and I could be biased based on the crazy amount of pink on this thread). I can't wait to find out!

Angela - So glad you had a nice shower and that it's OVER! 30 guests out of 50 invited is actually a pretty good turnout, so I hope you weren't too disappointed. Good luck Tuesday...I'll be thinking about you.

Karen - Always so good to hear from you. I was wondering when you were having your TAC done, now I see it's this week. Good luck and please keep us posted on how it goes. Glad you will be able to try again very soon.

Gi - I LOVE your iphone trick and may just try it!!

Steph - Still thinking about you and hope all is well!

Natasha – I am glad things are going well at school. Feeling a little overwhelmed is normal at the beginning of every class but I know you can do it. In regards to the shower, just go and have a good time. It doesn’t have to be perfect; just so you and Andre enjoy it. Oh I forgot to ask, will your shower be coed or women only. I preferred coed so my DH and family could enjoy and celebrate Gabriella together. I think it was a lot of fun because we were all together!

Gi – yes, you are right; I could look at it like an early maternity leave I suppose. They will be offering a severance which will help until I can find another job. It sounds like you and Jason are having so much fun w/ Kayla already (did I tell you that I just love that name)! I also loved reading how you are eagerly awaiting her arrival. It sounds like you both will make great parents and have so much fun with her when she gets here.

Karen – I am so excited that your cycle is fast approaching! So does that mean that you are having the Transabdominal Cerclage this month?

Hazel – I am so sorry that Zorba is still in her/his cozy home but look at it this way, being induced isn’t too bad. Well, it wasn’t for me. I am positive that you will be fine! Thanks for the prayers for tomorrow!

Babyluv – Yes, you are right 30 isn’t too bad but I think the disappointment came from people calling and emailing the night before saying that they were coming. So of course we bought food and drinks to feed that amount of people. We understand something coming up, but it would have been nice to just let us know.

AFM – Well, we were notified today that we will receive a call between 8am and 12pm tomorrow to determine if we still have a job. So tonight is going to be very restless … now that I think about it, every night is restless for me because of going to the bathroom so much … lol. I forgot to ask you ladies, have your allergies been driving you absolutely crazy lately? I have had a stuffed up nose for about 3 weeks now. And, sneezing with watery eyes has been the worse! When I woke up Sunday after my shower, my throat was a little scratchy so later that day I received a call from my manager who was at the party that she too had a sore throat. So she went to urgent care and was told she has strep throat. I don’t think that is what I have though because I have it in the past and it hurt so bad that I couldn’t even swallow. So my OB said for me just to take some over the counter allergy meds for today and if I am not any better I can go to my primary care doc tomorrow. I hope everyone has a great night!

Hi ladies!

Hazel-Oh honey, I thought for sure I'd get on here today with arrival news (I'm sure you've been thinking the same thing too!!) Don't worry, it really is so close to Friday that Zorba will be here before you know it! I'll be thinking of you

Angela-I hope you get some rest tonight and great news tomorrow. I can't imagine how stressed you are right now but you'll make the best of it no matter what happens :)

Stephanie-It's good to hear things have settled for a while and you've bought some extra time. I agree that staying on bedrest is helpful and really will seem like a small amount of time in the grand scheme of things. Take care, relax, and let those babies get bigger :)

Gi-I love the dance party Kayla put on for you! Who does she get her rhythm from-dancing queen mom or dad?!?

Katie-I am a bawl baby, crying type of chica so you can only imagine when I'm hopped up on preggo hormones. I have the knack for crying so hard and long that I go into hysterical fits of laughter about crying so much. I'm a total mess.... So I have to assume you didn't put down more blue carpet-what color did you go with?

Natasha-I'm sorry classes are overwhelming right now. I hope they slow down or you can make it work for you. Best of luck.

Babyluv-No new news is good news right? I'm glad you are doing well. Sorry the girls didn't give you many "kodak moments". Can you imagine what the twins see/feel/experience squished inside of us? I have moments where I just picture them duking it out inside. I have a good friend who is a twin and she always says she can't wait to see them when they come out and to see if they have "battle wounds". She said she came out with scratches on her face from her twin brother. Crazy!!!!

AFM- Well, I am enduring-my feet, legs, and hands are so swollen that co-workers have gasped when they look at me  I will see what the doc. thinks on Friday when I go to my appt. I remember my little miracles and I know this "stuff" is so temporary that I will be fine. Work is exhausting but everyone is being so supportive. I'm trying to be good and do all the things to take care of myself. Against my better judgement I'm making a 3 hour car ride Wed. to go to a funeral. One of my campers/friend from MDA camp, Garrett, passed away on the 11th. I know I shouldn't be traveling much but I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if I didn't go say good-bye. This has been a tough summer with many funerals for me-really makes me remember how blessed I truly am and gives me joy to think of my beautiful babies.

I am thinking of you all and sending good vibes your way. Take care of yourselves!

Love always

OK ladies I have been gone a week and the stuff hits the fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!

Stephanie- EEKKKK It was like reading a scary novel. I kept looking through posts really fast to make sure you and the babies were ok. I'm so happy you are staying in the hospital. I know it can't be that fun but it is the safest place for you and DARN it...avoid that Army hospital. Big hugs to you honey! Oh and I am so happy for Alex. It made me cry to think of how happy she must be to make Andrew her "official on paper" dad. :)

Hazel- HELLLLLOOOOOOOOOOO Zorba...come out and say hello! It's er...a bit past time...Mummy and Daddy want to hold you and meet you!

Angela- Oh holy allergies. I was at my in law's house this weekend and they were so bad I had 2 asthma attacks. I was glad to get back to PA where they are bad...but not nearly about to kill me.

Natasha- Classes were always overwhelming for me in the beginning until I got into the swing of things. I'm sure it will get better for you too! :)

Katie- Hey there Momma! I'm so sorry you didn't get a long scan but I'm happy they think everything is fine for you and Savannah. Boring is good right?! :) Getting new carpet sounds great! I love the way it squishes under your toes.

Claudia- Happy anniversary. Our 3 year is next month! Down the shore....must be Jersey huh? ;) I hope you had a great time!

Babyluv- Oh I'm sorry they didn't get any more pics. What did your mom think of the u/s? Was she excited?

Sorry if I missed anyone. Being gone for a week kept me busy catching up on my reading here. LOL
AFM- I had my OB apt today. No u/s. I found out that I do not get any more u/s from the OB. Only standard checks like BP, urine, weight, growth of uterus, baby HB, etc. My u/s scans will all come from the perinatal center. Fine with me...their machines are better anyhow! :) The baby was fine and his/her hb was 159. I gained 2 lbs. My first weight gain. I'm still down 6 lbs from the start so I guess that's ok. I blame it all on my in laws..the weight gain that is.

I spent the weekend at my in law's house down in GA....deep South GA. All the women in the family get together a couple of times a year. This time there were 12 that showed up. We had a murder mystery dinner that was sooooo cool. It was super humid down there and the pollen or ragweed must have been really bad because I ended up having 2 asthma attacks. After the last one I was so tired from trying to breathe that I slept for 2 hrs. I was more than happy to come back home to PA where it is already getting down in the 50s at night.

I am off to fly for the next 6 days again but then off for 9 with my DH! I am so excited! DH is on his way to Hawaii right now....so jealous of him! I want to go back! But then he has to fly to Guam and Narita for the next week....thanks but no thanks. I'll be in Italy and Ireland again. I can't wait for my nice relaxing Ireland flight! I'll wave hello to GI as I land!!!!! ;)

OK so everyone keep those babies warm and safe...except Zorba...be safe but it's time to come out to play! XOXO

Katie - OMG, I've just noticed your ticker says under 40 days to go! Getting close now...

babyluv - you're one of the few predicting a girl, most people are saying it's going to be a boy because of the whole big baby thing. We shall see, hopefully there's really not long now until we find out... How is your week going?

angela - thinking of you today and hoping for good news.

Sara - that swelling doesn't sound like fun, I hope the doctor can suggest something to help when you have your appointment on Friday. Sorry to hear about the funeral - I think it's a nice thing that you're going to attend, but just take it easy with the journeys, OK?

PA_FA - hope the next 6 days go quickly for you and then it's 9 days off, yippee! If you're going to wave to gi as you land in Ireland, give me a wave if you're passing over the UK! Just think, by the time you check in with us again Zorba may actually have arrived!!

Karen - it's so lovely to hear from an old friend and I will be following your next cycle and cheering you on. Not long until your TAC, it's the same day as my induction, in fact!

natasha - it's great that you've agreed on a name now, once less thing to think about!

AFM, my lovely acupuncture lady came to the house this morning and did a treatment to try and get things going. She used extra long needles and I think pretty much did the strongest treatment she could think of! I've since been for a 45 minute power walk round the fields, which did nothing much other than get me hot and sweaty and make my abdomen ache from carting a heavy Zorba around, and otherwise I'm back to just waiting. I can't believe this baby is being so stubborn!! The midwife is coming again tomorrow to try and do a final sweep, but otherwise I'm all out of things to try and so unless the acupuncture from today or the sweep tomorrow works (or unless Zorba stops being contrary and decides to come on his/her own at last), it's looking like I'll be heading to the hospital on Friday to be induced. Poo....

Sara – It is good to hear from you. Oh the swelling doesn’t sound very good or comfortable for that matter. I know how you feel. When my feet swell up I can barely walk. I am so sorry to hear about your camper/friend passing away.

PA_FA – Can believe that you are 18 weeks already? That means that you will be having your anatomy scan soon to see what you are having. Oh, I can’t wait until this allergy season is over.

Hazel – I think Friday is going to be the day for Zorba. Thanks for the prayers.

AFM – Well, I finally received my call today that I am still employed … thank god. Unfortunately, there were probably well over 300 let go not to mention the 28 managers layed off last week. This economy is insane and so very scary. Thank you for all of the prayers. I just couldn’t imagine having to worry about changing physicians and hospitals because of my insurance change.

Hi everyone -

Sorry to have been MIA, but its been busy, busy around here. we got the new carpet installed and I love it, its sort of like a med tan color with all these darker flecks throughout it - it should do really well at hiding paw prints and anything that Savannah can spill on it. But I do cringe everytime "Droolzilla" aka Gracie brings her cookieor bone in the living room  I did finally get all of the nursery laundry done - yay
But now I think that we may have bought too much? it was a total of 6 loads of laundry, from crib sheets, matrress pads, changer pads, swaddle blankets, burps cloths, wash cloths - and thats not even including her clothes! Jeez! I think she has more clothes than I do! I know i like her furniture better than ours haha. I've had that sciactic nerve pain kicking in over the weekend too, so thats -ummm, really not fun.
My neighbors seem to have lost their damn minds - they're an older sort of hippie type couple (and we dont take them too seriously) but a few months ago we put up a dividing fence, 6 ft high - cause before that there was no privacy on that side of the yard ( now the other side borders 100 acres of woods, so we're spoiled as far as privacy goes) so they've been trying to sell their house with no luck. Well, lets see, first the housing market stinks, second their house is old & tiny, third it has no garage or central air, and forth it smells of cat! badly! Well, I try to avoid them whenever possible because they will chew your ear off for an hour easily, usually talking nonsense ( yes, they are also the local gossip factory too!) So they got Chris yesterday and in their incessant babbling metioned that they think their house isnt selling because OUR fence is making their property look smaller! WTF??? they have practically NO yard to speak of!!
And besides, they've lived here for like 20 years with no fence up, so I guess he thinks that our yard is his view? It seems that they had an "use anytime pool arrangement " with the previous owners so every summer want to know when/ if the pool will be open. WTH?? maybe the old owners felt that way, but I dont. I was getting so irritated by this conversation it was next to impossible to not just blurt out how out of touch these people are! Ummm, do you really not notice how your house smells of cat? I think they have 3 of them? and definitely arent the ultra clean house type - if you know what I mean. So Chris trying to pacify them said " I think the fence affords us both peace & privacy" and the idiot next door says "well I cant sell my house because now it looks so closed in!" What is wrong with them??? Do they not realize that them having a small lot - IS NOT OUR PROBLEM? I started asking Chris to put up a fence the first time I was sitting in the dining room, in the spring with the windows open and the woman next door starts talking to me through the window!!! I was like "help!" I cant escape these people ever, are you seriously going to talk to me while I'm trying to have a cup of coffee, through the kinchen window? ARGH! So get this - this bug job of a couple actually asked Chris if he would take the fence down, until they sell their house! Can you believe it? - And they're serious too, now this is a 6ft pretty wood privacy fence, its post were cemented into the ground, for the love of! The only enjoyment we've gotten from this yard has been since the fence went up. I cant get over how out of touch with reality these people are!! Grrrr! Guess some people are just clueless, huh? perhaps if they werent asking what it might have been worth before the housing market collapsed, they could sell? Sorry to rant, but wow has that been bugging me.

Hazel - oh, my poor dear friend, you must be feeling sooo uncomfortable by now. I really feel for you. I think that Angela is right - Zorba must be evicted! Its been such a cozy place for him/ her to grow that Zorba seems to have no interest in leaving already. I was hoping that having more than one sweep would do it, but its not looking good at this point. Please Zorba, come on out now - Mum & Dad have a gorgeous nursery just waiting for you - and you'll have sooo much more room to stretch out! Having a show is a good sign, I'll hope that means maybe Zorba is getting the idea to come out? ooooh, this little one sure doesnt want to be rushed, huh? but you're late for a very important meeting, Zorba - hurry up please! Aw, it must have been nice to get to see Carolyn and the gorgeous twin boys. How is she doing? Has she finally managed a full nights sleep? I hope so. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the next time you post that you're on your way to the hospital for your big day - you've been more than patient. Hold on, Zorba will come, just hoping its soon! - xoxo

Steph - How is my twin mama doing? You poor girl, I'll bet the hospital routine is a bit boring, at least you like the nurses though, thats half the battle, right? They're the ones you spend the most time with anyway. Oh HOORAY for Alex! she must have been thrilled to see her new name on an official BC! How are those darn BH? Still bothering you alot? I know that must have been a hard decision, but it was the right one - there really is no true bed rest at home, I know you're as bad as I am, and always taking care of everyone else first before yourself, even if you dont feel like you're doing too much - its better for Ethan & Angelina right where they are - in your belly and in the hospital, for now. Whew! Good, now I can stop worrying that you're going to be alone and starting to bleed and trying to get to the hospital ASAP! Has there been any word from the chain of command on Andrew's quarters? Are they just waiting to see how much running back & forth the poor guy can do? What an interesting theory you had on the lap scar keeping the belly button from popping out - I think you're right, and when I shower, I notice that the inside of my belly button is sore too. Ach, so many weird things happen when you're pregnant, huh? I'm hoping that Andrew has brought you enough things to keep you metally busy while you're there, I can imagine how difficult it is to lay in bed all day long - especially when you're used to being the organizer! Bravo, honey, you're doing a great job cooking those two a bit longer, I know it must be be hard to keep still though.
hang in there honey - and try to get as much sleep as you can, cause you know soon sleep will be something that you used to be able to do.... xoxoxo

Angela - Yippeee! that you werent one of the ones that were let go, they couldnt do that to someone who works as hard as you do! I just wish that you could cut down your hours a little, but I hear you on why you cant do that. I just hope that you feel up to it the further along you & little Gabriella get. Ooooh, it sounds like your shower went off great! That was a lot of guests! Hopefully your in laws didnt raise any gender dramas either. Who could resist a baby girl? I'm not even a fashion type (usually I could care less) but even I'm in love with all the cute baby girl outfits - oooh, those little socks are too much!

Babyluv - Aw, you gave it your best shot - I guess the girls just dont want to take any pictures yet. maybe they'll be more willing when they're here? and even if they arent - you'll get em anyway! How are you feeling there twin mama?

Gi - Aw, so Kayla is like Savannah with the beloved all night dance party? haha. I havent yet tried putting music to my belly, but now I guess i'll have to see how how she likes it. Aw, your pup is always by your side, they are so in tune with our emotions, arent they? He'll be your first baby even when the real baby comes home. Is your nursery totally finished now? Ack, hope your sister gets your pics sorted out soon, I cant wait to see it, it sounds simply beautiful!

Karen - so glad to hear from you! This TAC + having PGD perfect embies waiting now you should be all set and ready to get your BFP. I'll be cheering you on all the way! - xoxo

Sara- Sorry to hear about your friend Garrett, its a long trip, but you need the closure. Just try to take it easy and please keep an eye on your swelling
I was told especially in hot weather, feet, insteps, toes, lower leg is normal but to watch out for swelling of the hands, fingers and especially the face, its risk of preeclampsia. Hope that your OB appt friday shows nothing out of the ordinary. I wonder if you're swelling because you're on your feet all day with your students? Poor girl- thats a lot of kids to watch over while pregnant with twins - please take good care of yourself.

PA - - Whew! thats some schedule you've got there! Oooh, south GA, I lived in Columbus, GA for years - and now I'm almost drooling thinking about good southern BBQ! and biscuits, of course!

OK guys - I have a really dumb question and Chris has both baby books in his work truck - so I'll ask you all - dont laugh, ok?
Since you use Desitin or A&D each diaper change, right? On a baby girl do you just put it on her bottom? or do you put it EVERYWHERE? I know its a dopey question, but Chris asked me last night and I was dumbstruck - I totally dont know which is right? yeah, I feel clueless sometimes, no matter how much I read
love & many hugs to you all - xoxo

Gi - If only it would definitely be over by Friday! Unfortunately, I go in at 8am and they will start trying to induce me, but they start off with the weakest stuff first before working their way up the list of drugs, so it may be a couple of days in hospital before labour even officially starts. What is pretty certain though (I think!) is that it all should be finished one way or another by the end of next Monday, because even if they can't get labour going properly, I assume they will just say at some point that I have to have a c-section. So your weight gain is 26lbs? I'm approaching the 4 stone mark now, hahaha! Oh well, I'll worry about that afterwards...

Angela - what good news about your job, that must be such a relief!

Katie - your neighbours sound totally nutty, how on earth can next door fencing their property mean that you can't sell yours? Best to ignore them as much as possible, methinks! Carolyn is good, she seems to be totally on top of things and the boys are just so gorgeous you want to cuddle them and never let go! Like Gi, I'm afraid I haven't got a clue as those names don't mean anything to me. All I know is that UK guidance is no products at all on their skin for the first eight weeks or so, it's supposed to be water and cotton wool only because their skin is too delicate and you can increase chances of eczema etc by using products, even baby shampoo etc. Although some people of course only last a few days/weeks before getting the nappy cream and wipes out, and it may turn out that DH are no different! Ummm, yes, I am really uncomfortable now, particularly today for some reason. Zorba is sitting so low that it's apparently putting a lot of pressure on my pelvis and the muscles all around that area, so my groin muscles are really painful all the time and I've got a very attractive shuffle/waddle going on because I can no longer walk properly! Oh well, can't be for much longer however this all pans out...

Steph - hope you, Angelina and Ethan are all doing OK. Is there any word on Andrew's quarters yet? You're in my thoughts as always...

Hazel - I keep trying to send you these darn contractions but I guess they have jet lag or haven't made it there yet. lol Come on Zorba, come on out and let everyone see your adorable face!

Katie - OMG, your neighbors needs a good kick in the arse! I don't know how you can be so nice. I would have easily told them to shove it and the only way any part of that fence is coming down is so it can be shoved up their ass! How dare they!! That is so expensive to take down and replace. No matter if the fence is there or not, they have a small lot, period! If the buyers hear they are sitting on a 1/8 of an acre (for example) they aren't going to think they are getting more just because a fence isn't there to seperate your property from theirs. Maybe they just assume everyone is as stupid as they are? I really think shock collars need to be issued to people like this. I could see it now... you can be at the grocery store and see someone flip out for a moment, then ask thm if they are ok. Their reply would be, Yes, just stupid is all. lol

Gi - So Kayla is kicking up a storm huh? That's so funny how you have a little rock star in there. That will be a good one to tell when she gets older. I bet she will have some kind of musical talent, whether it be singing, dancing or an instument of some kind. Maybe all of it! :)

Angela - I am glad that you have your job. A sigh of relief for you. Though I am sure it is scary to know how many others were let go and maybe some were friends of yours. At least things are working out well for you. No more stress for you. :) Now just smooth sailing till Gabriella arrives.

Pa - A murder mystery dinner? That sounds so awesome! I always wanted to attend one of those! 6 days on and 9 days off huh? Is Guam that bad? I have never been there, but I almost lived there when I was a kid. My dad worked as a civilian contractor for a military base and he had the chance to move to a base in Guam. I rmember him being all excited about it, but he never took the job or just didn't get it. Anyway, Italy and the Ole Sod huh? That sounds more appealing to me as well. So much more culture that I am interested in. If it didn't mean being gone so much, I think I would love your job! lol Make sure you wave to Gi and Kayla! lol

AFM - Well, a new HR doc this rotation week, he is my peri actually. Last week was his partner. Yesterday he came by with the resident and gave me an ultrasound. He was willing to do the transvaginal but wanted to try the abdominal one first. At first they couldn't gt a good look at the previa so he had to actually lift my belly to lift Ethan's big ole head out of the way a bit so they could see. Sure enough, placenta on each side of his noggin. It is for sure still there and likely not to budge at all of course. Other than that I have been doing so well that he has mentioned the possibility of me going home. I would need full cooperation from Andrew's command to be able to accept that as an option. There is no such thing as bedrest when I am home alone all day. Obviously I will have to get up, go downstairs, get my drinks and make my food and thn make my way upstairs every night. That is minimum, since of course I will also have to let the dog out and be tempted to do some chores. No one else other than Andrew will be there to help. I have had a few sympathy offers but I know better then to accept them. One neighbor's husband just left yesterday for Iraq so she is depressed and the other one is the girl who through my shower. She is flighty as it is and I just found out something that makes me never want to talk to her again!! Alex was staying there last week and this week is staying at the other neighbor, the one who's DH just deployed. Well, Alex hasn't really been as responsible at this new place so we told her she might have to go back to the other house since she was more responsible there. Immediately she starts crying and I mean crying. Come to find out the reason she made sure that she was so good over there was fear!!! WTF?? She is scared that the mom is going to hit her like she hits her own kids. She yells and hits her kids for no real reason either. The one little girl couldn't sleep and was crying and she beat her telling her to go to sleep, only making the baby cry more and louder, this is only one example. There is another little boy and an older daughter Alex's age who is also deathly afraid of her own mother. I heard this and I was livid. She is abusing her kids, bad enough right.. but for &*%$ sake, doing it in front of my kid? That is abuse too! Obviously it is abuse since she is scared of her, emotional and mental. So we told her she won't be going back and Andrew has to have a talk with his friend, her husband. There needs to be a serious intervention or I am going to be making some calls to the proper authorities to save those babies and the older girl.

Whew.. ok, trying to calm down from that... to answer everyone's question about Andrew and quarters, it isn't happening. They are making him go in every morning at least to sign out. That won't last long though so I likely won't have him here much anyway. He is already gone a good portion of the time since he has things to take care of at home and still does side jobs to make extra money. This weekend he has taken on a big job. Love the money but I likely won't see him at all unless it is to watch him sleep. This bedrest is boring and I haven't had any visiters so it's been a bit depressing, especially when all my friends are Army wives and don't work. lol Oh well, life goes on. The important thing is that the babies are doing awesome! Lets see how long I can keep these little ones cooking. :)

angela- Actually we are planning two different parties. Im going to have the typical shower with the ladies. and Andre will be having a diaper party for him and all the men. We're planning it at a restaurant for them to see a UFC fight and have some pizza but of course all the men have to bring diapers. Otherwise, i'd say that having it coed is a great idea. i dont see why the men can't go. I wonder who ever made that idea. =) or perhaps women just assume the men don't want to go and it's a woman's thing. That's good news you still have your job. Having to worry about insurance is not sonmething anyone wants to do. We went through it last month and it was awful and a run around. Stress you don't need. So that's great news.
I've been really sick the last week but I didn't call me OB and tell them. I just took some over the counter meds and i'm better now. I thought I had a sinus infection at first because my nose had a ton of pressure. then it went away and became very congested. Then it loosened and then i was coughing up out my chest. but now it think its over and done. I felt awful though. I thought it was from the weather changing from being so hot to chilly with rain and now warm again. Feel better.

Pa- Yeah I think it'll get better once I get into the groove of it and start better studying habits. Your doing alot of traveling. Are you comfortable with that?

GI- yes we're about half way done. YAY!!! I think we picked a pretty name too.

hazel- Oh your still waiting. wow yes the Zorba is a little stubborn. I can tell you didn't plan or want to be induced.

sara- I hope so too. i'm a bit nervous. but hopefully it gets better.

Afm- I'm finally busy and very occupied that i'm exhausted. =/

Katie - WHAT A CRAZY COUPLE!! My mom and I were just talking about our old neighbors, mean old couple who hated children (theirs were grown). My parents had no money but saved to put up a fence, mostly to protect the kids from the couple who hated that my parents let my oldest two brother make mud puddles. My brother and I would always make her mad because she had a cotton plant that grew up and spilled over our fence. My brother and I would pick the cotton on our side and she would get SOOO mad! HA! Hopefully they can sell and you can find a way to avoid them until that time.

Steph - So glad to hear the babies are doing well, but WOW about YOUR neighbors! That is awful, just awful. And no quarters for Andrew? Girl, I am so sorry. Just a little bit longer and you can get everything sorted out yourself. I am so sorry about the lack of visitors...that has to be tough. You always have us and we love you! I know it's not the same, but we're here for sure.

PA - Does your DH fly also? Or is it just random that you both travel all over the world?? :D Hopefully the six days will go by quickly and you can settle in for a bit.

Sara - Oh my goodness, I can only imagine your swelling from being on your feet all day! Do you think you're doctor will put you on bed rest at some point? I hope everything goes well as you travel to and from the funeral. I can completely understand going. My mom was a homebound teacher for 15 years (that's what she just retired from) and has been to many funerals for her students. You get attached and I hope your presence will somehow give a little peace to Garrett's family.

Angela - I am SOOO happy to hear that you still have a job! I am so sorry for all of the others...it really is bad out there.

Gi - Tried your iphone trick and it really did get them moving a little!!

AFM - The girls have been on the quiet side the past couple of days which, of course, I never like, but it does happen from time to time. They flip around and then not only are they facing my back, but they also have the placenta to content with. Ah well... they are still moving around, just not as much. I know it will happen more and more as they run out of room, but hopefully they start up their UFC fights again in there to give me a little more peace of mind. My u/s is Friday and I can't wait to see how big they are now (ah, there we go...just got a kick). Like I told Gi, I tried her iphone trick (playing my ipod on my tummy) and that got them moving a little more. I can tell they are rolling around, just a little more softly. Silly girls.

Katie – I do believe that your neighbors are insane also. Who has the nerve to ask such things of people? Well, I am glad that you and your DH have set them straight.

And, no my father-in law didn’t mention the gender anymore, which is great. But, I have noticed that I have a lot of resentment towards him and his wife. I can’t help it because they really hurt my feelings. I will try to change my behavior but it’s hard. For example, my parents were so very excited about the shower that they paid for a portion of the rental hall, they brought a lot of food and drinks and decorations without me even asking them. But my DH’s side didn’t do anything but bring one little dish. So at the party I bought a thank you card and restaurant gift card and presented to my parents in front of everyone. Of course I didn’t do the same for my in-laws because they weren’t nearly as helpful or excited. Oh well, I will try to change my ways as I don’t want my daughter to see anything like that.

Oh, by the way. I think you put the cream anywhere she can get a rash, so all areas that are covered by a diaper except her sides etc.

Gi – thanks, I am very happy. My maternity leave starts maybe a week before I deliver, so I will try to work up until my delivery time. I will probably take 9 or 10 weeks off from work once I am officially on leave. So I probably will not go back until late February 2011.

Hazel – It is nice to hear that you are hanging in there. I know that you have to be pretty uncomfortable right now but you seem to be making the best of it.

Stephanie – I don’t blame you for being mad. Poor Alex, she seems like such a trooper. I am glad you are doing better. So they are talking about sending you home, huh? I know you will make the best decision as you know what the right circumstances have to be before that happens.

Natasha – So, you have been feeling bad lately too. I finally took Claritin yesterday and today and I do feel much better.

Your ideas for the showers sound great! It sounds like you are well on your way. When is it scheduled again?

AFM – Well, I finally stopped crying and being emotional because I was happy for myself but so very sad to see some people, who have really supported me when I lost Ashley, leave my company. Well, ladies have a great night!
