holy cow you girls had a type fest while i was at my ER!! i will have to go back and read everything when i dont have medhead!
i just got home, and i need to go lie down, but i told DH i needed to come and tell all my girls the news first....
OMG WE GOT 7 EGGS!!!!!!!

i cant believe it! i am in total shock. i was still have asleep and my eyes were closed and i heard the nurse saying "you got 7" to someone. when i opened my eyes DH was sitting next to me, and there was no nurse so i started to think i overhead them talking to the girl in the next bed...i turned and looked at DH, and said...did they just say 7??? he smiled and said yes, and i lost it!! i burst into tears. i couldnt believe it!! the nurse came running over when she heard me bawling thinking i was in pain...i had to explain to her that i was happy. she said most people get between 6 and 10 so we had a perfect amount!

so they will call tomorrow after 3pm to tell me how many embryos we have (DH's "sample" was perfect they said)
then we wont know until thursday morning if we will be transferring that day (day2) of friday (day 3)

thank you all for your support! its amazing, and i am so lucky to have such beautiful woman to share all of this with!

Annashope – I agree, but just don’t know what to do. I’m nervous that we won’t find a donor that we like as much…so we shall see! Good for you! I know what you mean about putting your life on hold..you think…Oh I’m going to have a baby and then…here we are 3 years later! I agree and we can’t put our life on hold any more..way to go!

Klinger – Thank you! It’s just really hard to resist those evil sticks…I don’t know whats better because I’ve yet to resist it! Although I found out during lunch and took the call, so I’m glad that I didn’t have a meltdown in front of 10 of my co-workers!

Teresa – Thanks for being such a great friend. I did too. I had high hopes for this cycle..but who the heck knows. I AM SO SO VERY EXCITED FOR YOU! WHAT A GREAT FERT REPORT!!! AND SOME TO FREEZE!!!!

Riogirl – thanks so much! Well, plans of changed slightly, so we probably won’t be cycling together, but I will for sure be here to cheer you on! Yeah for a wonderful puppy!

Karin- I’m so glad that you had a talk with Hannah. You are amazing! I don’t know about the peel, but I need one too! All of these hormones..I look like a complete wreck!

Ryann- I can totally understand how you would be furious with your RE. I’m really proud of you and can tell that you are standing up for yourself. Those sounded like really good suggestions to me! If they weren’t going to work I don’t understand why she couldn’t give you an explanation. Crappy. I think they ship things all over the place and I don’t have any scientific reasoning behind it, but I wouldn’t be afraid of shipping to another clinic if you find one that you are really happy with. Let me know how it goes!

Franny- I am so so so very very very happy for you! 7 great eggs! See girls, this is why you should change RE’s when you don’t have a good feeling about them! Can’t wait to hear your fert report!!!

Tammy – oh my gosh…50 people! Yikes mama! I love thinking about how to tell everyone! But, you are brave, I don’t know that I could tell everyone at once! I think the morning of the party you should make DH breakfast and put a nice card with it. Since you’ll have a hectic day on Saturday it could be really nice to spend some nice time together in the morning and celebrate!

Okay girls, I am really crazy now! So, DH and I had a long conversation last night about the trips and our finances and just a bunch of stuff. We decided to scratch my vacation to Disney and spend some time together…we are going to COSTA RICA! I already booked plane tickets this morning and we found the cutest little B&B to stay at. We are going from 12/5-12/11. So, because we really needed a vacation and also had a slight motivation to wait until after Jan 1 so that we could set aside more money in our flex spending account…that’s like a 30% discount and we’ve already exhausted everything that we set aside in 2010, we are taking a break from this craziness until after the new year! I just feel super good about this and it feels really great to have something to look forward to. We haven’t taken a year vacation since 2007. Serious. So, I’m feeling really good about it and although its more waiting, it will be great! So, if anyone has been to Costa Rica…LOU? We are staying in Tamarindo. YEAH!!! But, I will be following and cheering everyone on. I’m hoping all of you will get a BFP during the fall cycle and no one will be joining me in January…tee hee…although I’ll be lonely…but happy lonely.

Tiger-I think a vacation with the hubby is the perfect idea! I LOVE Costa Rica and especially Tamarindo....lots of cute surfer boys and great places to eat and snorkel!!! Have a great time!!!

Franny - WOOHOO! That's so awesome! I can't wait to hear the report tomorrow!

Tiger - IDH and I still say tht Costa Rica was our fav trip. We drove from Arenal to Monteverde to Tamarindo and then to La Paz waterfalls. Tamarindo is so much fun. Take a surfing class! The instructors are so patient and the town is so relaxed. I can say that the red mud will ruin your clothes, so make sure that whatever pants/shoes you bring can be thrown out. The only time it really matters is when it rains. We went during rainy season and still had a blast.

Rio - I have my first SnS on Saturday and preliminary ER date of 9/25! - I guess you can add that, Amanda, but it's really just an estimation.

Tiger. Costa rica I'm jealous! Nice vacation

AFM nurse called today with progestrone levels she said it's at 17.4 but want it at 25 so I have to increase progestrone in oil from 1 to 1 1/2 and I have insert a capsule of it too in vajayjay. Anyway I asked again what does this mean and again she told me just that I have to have uterus ready. So here is question, I went to bathroom to pee before insert and the was a tiny spot of blood. Does this mean implantation or does it mean something else? Anyone have advice, ideas, comments? I have been campying quiet often today. Victoria

Tiger Costa Rica sounds wonderful and I think you are making the right decision- we all need a break sometimes and as we were talking earlier-sometimes it seems like the pursuit of having a baby is so consuming- we have to squeeze in life too
