Brandy - YAY for starting your Lupron today!! Sorry, I forgot to update that date on the list the last couple days, but I've got you moved down to the injectables section of the list today. Do you know when you'll be starting your stims?

Tiger - Your trip to Costa Rica sounds fabulous!! DH and I have always wanted to go there but before we go there, we want to go to Colombia. DH is originally from Medellin and hasn't been back since he left at the age of 5. We've just been putting it off the last couple years while we try to get pregnant, so if this IVF doesn't work we are booking our tickets. No more putting it off!

I am in the middle of my second IVF with ICSI cycle and the stimulation phase keeps getting extended due to slow growing follicles. It's driving me nuts and I could use the support!

Franny -- Oh how very wonderful! 7!!! How super. 7 is my dh's favorite number. Whoo hooo for you. So thrilled!!!!!!

Tiger -- Your vacation sounds wonderful!!!!

Chili -- You have ER today, right? Let us know how it goes. So excited for you.

AFM -- I started BCP yesterday, got my IVF calendar, got my meds ordered. Side note there.... unless we end up having to re-order stuff, I was very pleased with the price. We were expecting around 5,000 for meds but my total bill was 2500.00. The lady said it might be a little less because insurance will probably cover a couple of the lesser items but to plan on the 2500.00 and she'll submit it to insurance and see what they'll cover. I start Lupron on 9/28.

Hello ladies,
well spotting continued this morning with cramps. Called nurse this morning and she stated that so long as I didn't soak a pad or have a flow. Sometimes spotting is normal. I'm trying to stay positive but it's hard. She told me to come home and rest so thank goodness I have an wonderful student teacher that I was able to leave right away. The sopotting is very very light there's no discharge with it or anything just very thin pink. I hope it's ok bit the crampying is what gets me. I didn't want to think of a plan and didn't have one if this cycle didn't work but I'm starting to think of one now. I'm not sure I have the emotional strengh to do it all over again. You gals that have done it more than once, u r my heros, cuz what we have to go through physically and emotionally is overwhelming. I don't think I'm that strong. Victoria

Lauren319- You seriously do crack everyone up and it seriously puts a smile on my face! Good to know about the red staining…note for what shoes to bring! Did you go to the volcano there?

Victoria – I’m sorry you are going through this, but your nurse is right, spotting with IVF is super common. I cannot tell you how many women on these boards have gone through what you are going through, but the good news is that they are healthy pregnancies. Just try to stay on bedrest and don’t get up. Can you have a sub tomorrow too?

Victoria - Spotting can be very normal, I had actually a couple episodes of really heavy bleeding in the early stages of my pregnancy and had a healthy baby boy! Hang in there!

AFM - My husband called and that fantastic job had been filled. So I guess he did miss that opportunity because he was babysitting my sister's kids that afternoon. SUCKS!

Franny- I'm so excited to hear about your report today. How are you feeling?

Tiger- Costa Rica will be so much fun for you guys. Are you googling all the different activities you can do there? I sometimes dream about being able to take nice vacations like that and will spend ours on the computer looking at things to do in the area I'm interested in. Sadly, I never go anywhere! Thanks for checking up on how I am feeling, but I dont really have anything to report other then feeling tired (thanks progestrone). My beta is a week away and yet seems so far off!

Tammy- How are you feeling? Any symptoms? How are the b-day plans coming along? Did you decide on how you were going to tell your family about your BFP at the party?

Victoria- Hang in there and keep up your PMA. I bet its just your little ones getting nice and cozy in your lining.

Nancy- Yeah for starting your BCP and glad your bill wasn't as much as you were thinking. That's always a nice surprise!

Wondercat I'm sorry your hubby didnt get that job. That sucks!

jla018- Welcome and sorry for your frustration with the slow growing follies. Keep in mind that sometimes slow and steady wins a baby!

Rio- Thanks for checking up on me! I really haven't felt much different and I dont know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I've felt tired which I know can be a result of the progestrone shots that I'm taking. I had a tiny bit of cramping yesterday and a hot flash, but that's it. I just wish it was next week already so I could find out if my babies took or not. I asked my DH about me POAS this weekend and he doesnt want me to. I guess I will just have to be patient and wait, wait, wait.

good afternoon ladies!

so the report is in...we have 5 embryos!!!
i'm seriously still in shock. i have to admit that i was hoping that all 7 would fert., but thats really silly right? i know i'm used to a 100% fert. rate, but thats because ive only had 1or 2 eggs!
DH had just walked into the door from work when the phone rang..i freaked out and threw it at him (this is becoming a normal thing i do when doctors call haha)
so i'm trying to listen in, but of course our windows are open and fed-ex drives by, and then piper comes over and starts chewing his food right next to my ear....i couldnt hear a damn word!
so i threw a pen and paper and DH and told him to write things down. of course he doesnt!! so this is what i hear..."ok...ok....ok...ok...so tomorrow at 1pm? oh it could be earlier? oh friday?? so its either 1pm tomorrow, or earlier, or friday??" hahaha i was like WTF does that mean??? well i guess thats exactly what it means...they are going to call me tomorrow at 830 to tell me if i should come in tomorrow at 1pm, or maybe earilier, or it could be friday! haha great! so i still didnt know how many embies we had and i'm mouthing to DH "how many? how many?" (of course i couldnt talk because he told the nurse i was "out")
so he holds up 4 fingers...and i said...four?? he nodded yes...then he holds up 5 fingers..and i said...five?? haha i was so confused. he said the nurse first said...let me see how many you have..oh you have 4...then she said..oh wait you have 5!
ummmmm dont you think thats something you should be counting BEFORE the phone call?? i told DH to keep asking and maybe we'd have 6 next time she looked hahaha
so anyway..i can breathe now, and i just realized i am starving! can we all say stress diet?? i promise i will do personals later! i am still a lil sore from yesterday so i'm gonna go try and relax a little. thank you all so so so much for all of your thoughts and encouragement. its amazing! i am so lucky to have you all in my life!!
oh one more thing....DH being the math teacher that he is said that we are making a good formula...7 eggs...5 embies...transfer 3...end up with 1 baby!! haha i hope he is right!
oh....and am i really gonna transfer 3?? haha i think thats the plan, but i think we'll have to find out when we go for the transfer!
