Last night I had a little red spot I slept on it thinking maybe it's just implanting. But this morning I was still spotting. It's very very light and thin like. No discharge. I called the nurse and she said to get off my feet and rest and sometimes the spotting us normal. But I also have cramps. So what can this mean? Is it my period coming? Is it all over? I have my beta on friday.
Spotting is very common in IVF pregnancies, even in cycles that make it to live birth, especially in women who do not receive estradiol supplements. Are you on estradiol? Estradiol seems to prevent most of the spotting, but does not seem to improve outcome much, if at all.
A progesterone of 17.4 ng/ml is not that low. Depending on the clinic, the minimum might be set anywhere from 10 to 40. The difference is the level of safety margin. I've read that the level to never go below is around 6.5. Your level would have been considered fine at many clinics.
From your post, I see no cause for alarm. Keep your clinic informed of everything.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
