I just finished my 6th IVF cycle which gave us our first BFP! We had ER 8/30 and did a 3dt of 5 embryos (due to my multiple failures) I was wondering if I should be concerned with the high number of my beta and especially the progestrone.......I see most peoples levels for progestrone lower..... T
My E2 was high at ER of 3792. I am currently on 1cc PIO 1x daily, Crinone gel 1x daily, lovenox 1x, APA, dexamethosone 1x
Should I be concerned with the progestrone being so high? My RE says everything looks great. I have my first U/S on MOnday to see how many sacs...........I think at least 2
First I want to say congratulations on your pregnancy; I don't think you have anything to worry about regarding you progesterone. My progesterone has always run very high. I am pregnant with a singleton and it has reached as high as 280 ... well that is the last level that was checked, so it could have been higher. If you are carrying multiples, which I am sure that you are, you need a high progesterone to sustain the pregnancy.
Thank you for responding, Angela. Congratulations to you too! A baby girl! How so very exciting. I am not going to worry about it (or at least try not to worry) until the U/S.........we are just so excited and shocked that it finally happened. We are so very thankful for this pregnancy and will cherish every minute.

Any insight??
High progesterone is generally not a problem, as the side effects of progesterone are fairly mild. Most of that progesterone is coming from your follicles, as the hCG is the embryo's signal to the follicle (corpus luteum) to make progesterone.
Your hCG is doing great.
Sure looks like a multiple to me. The ultrasound will tell for sure.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
Your beta numbers really look GREAT to me! If you want to learn more about what other women are reporting for betas, there is a website I learned about a few years ago called Beta Base. It allows you to see doubling times/numbers for singleton and multiples pregnancies.
