Tammy - OMG YAY!!!! I knew you would be back! So so so SOOOOO happy for you! If they had a smiley that did a little dance, I would be posting a ton of those suckers. I will do a little jig in my hospital bed for you.

Natasha - I hope you are ok! Keep us updated on how the dr visit goes.

Hazel - Almost there! Zorba will have to come out and face the world, like it or not. lol I hope that you don't have to be in there too long waiting for the meds to work. Hopefully the first set of meds works and is just the little push Zorba needs. I have a friend who seems to have a 6th sense at times and she told me before coming into the hospital that she was thinking about me one day and thought about the 27th. I just remembered that today and now I/m wondering if she may be right. lol If that is the case, your Zorba will definately make it first to the finish line.

Babyluv - Oh my, your story about not fitting next to the car to get in the driver seat, priceless! lol Before coming to the hospital I was always standing too close to the fridge and hitting my belly when I would open the door. Also I would not estimate the distance to the counter very well, like when I would go to wash my hands and run my belly into the counter. The only issue I have had with a vehicle is raising my leg to get into it. lol I am sure you know that to lift your leg can cause a little pelvic pressure? Felt like my pelvic bone was about to fall off. lol Anyway, lifting my leg to just get into a car was painful, more so the more I was walking around. Mostly I didn't drive anywhere, Andrew would so I never had the "park too close" issue.

AFM - So I asked the doctor about walking around and I am allowed, though the nurses prior to this conversation have been strict and not allowing me to. So it's good to know I can stretch my legs a a few times a day. The nurses even want me to use a seat in the shower and when I asked about getting a tour of the nursery they mentioned wheeling me to the tour in a chair. lol So now maybe I can get that tour and walk the whole time. :) We are letting Alex stay with me starting tonight and pulling her out of school tomorrow so I get her for an extra day. YAY! Andrew will likely be working on a big side job and finishing up another side job all weekend. If all works out that is a grand in our pocket. He isn't even here all the time but he is getting stir crazy and in turn driving me crazy. I told him just minutes ago before he left to get Alex that it seems every day he loses a few more brain cells.

GI- I am sure you look absolutely beautiful! I am actually still down 8lbs. I dropped 10lbs in the first 15w and now am up 2lbs. So I am hoping not to gain that much. The docs are not too worried as I had...er...a bit extra to start with.

Hazel- I am checking in and I see Zorba has still not shown that cute face. Maybe tomorrow before I go to work. OH but I guess we will find out next week since you will be with out internet. I'm so excited for you!!!!!!!!

Stephanie- Yes the murder mystery was fun. :) My in laws are lots of fun.
I can't believe Alex was subjected to that crazy woman. I am by NO means saying or placing blame...I just feel bad that she had to go through that. I know if you had knows what she was like you never would have sent Alex there. Sorry...I'm tired and I don't seem to be making sense. :? Poor thing. I hope she realizes what a great mommy and daddy she has. I feel really bad for those children. It just makes me so sad.
I'm glad the Dr is letting you walk around a bit. Never tried ambien...heard too many stories about people ending up naked in hotel lobbies and not realizing what happened. LOL

Katie- The neighbors want you to WTF???? That is just crazy. Your neighbors should live next door to my neighbors. Mine let the "grass" (read: weeds) grow so tall that my lawn guy asked it the house was vacant. LOL

Babyluv- Yes my DH is a pilot. We work for the same airline which is fun....but stressful knowing all of our income is from one source. We do travel a lot. He is changing aircraft so he will have 18 days off per month to help me with the baby. I thought that was nice of him. He'll be flying to places he really doesn't want to fly to but he says he does not want me to be alone raising the baby by myself. :)

Angela- Oh allergy season....it's getting better up here. We have had a bit of rain so I think that is helping. Today as we were flying in...the closer we got to Newark, I started sneezing. I was like...hmmmm...almost home. :)

Natasha- Yes flying makes me tired but I only work 15-18 days a month so I try to just suck it up and get through it. Thankfully on flights longer than 8hrs we get mandatory "crew rest" where we can sleep. Today I got a 2 1/2 hr nap during work. It definitely makes all the difference.

Tammy- CONGRATS ON YOUR BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy for you!!!!!!! Please keep staying on here so we know how you are doing! :)

AFM- Less than 2 weeks and we find out the sex of the baby. OH I CAN'T WAIT! I have felt him/her kick and roll a lot. In fact I think the baby just kicked me again. It's saying hello to you all! :D Not much going on with me. I'm home for 24hrs and all alone. Off to Shannon, Ireland tomorrow. I love it there and can't wait to go. I need some cute Irish babygear. DH and I are both Irish...it shows with our light hair and ability to sunburn at anytime, even in the winter. LOL I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. XOXO

Tammy – I am so very happy for you!!! I had to laugh because you wrote a wonderful post but didn’t say that you got your BFP! I am beyond thrilled. Welcome back my friend!

Stephanie – they probably put you on Heparin because you were on bed rest. It is very common for those patients as a blood clot can develop very quickly with minimal bed rest. But the TID dosing is uncommon it is usually BID (twice a day). I am injecting the same thing myself for my clotting disorder. It can really bruise your stomach. I just read your next post, and I am happy you can get out bed even if for a little while.

Babyluv – Oh, your story is one of my biggest fears because I drive around all day and I can just see that happening to me also. I am glad it all worked out for you … of course you had to be a little creative … lol.

Hazel – I will be thinking about you this weekend. I am so excited we are finally going to see pictures of Zorba and know if you are having a boy or girl. I know everything will be just fine.

Natasha – I surely hope you can get some relief after your doctor’s visit. I have been absolutely miserable because of my inability to breathe, coughing, and sneezing but I will have to say after two days of taking Claritin, I definitely feel a lot better.

PA_FA – I can’t wait until you find out what you are having. It is so exciting … if you had to guess, what do you think that you are having? Any names yet?

AFM – Well, I have been at home preparing for another test fairly soon for work. One of my dear friends lost her mother because she fell and hit her head and passed away. So, it continues to be a stressful week for me. I have been so disoriented this week that my DH and I kept saying that I am 25 weeks and “no” I am 26 weeks. I don’t want to be pushed back a week … lol. I am so happy that tomorrow is Friday. I need some rest this weekend for sure.

Have a great night!

well ladies I didn't get to go to the appt. I've been waiting for the OB to call me back from yesterday. I hate that darn office they are so bad. So I wasn't sure if i wanted to go to the clinic just to make sure everything is ok. I'm just worried because I have coughing spells and cough so hard my lower abdomen hurts. So it worries me. Dh too. he tells me not to cough so hard but i can't control it. I had a bad cold butnow i feel better I just have chest congestion and keep coughing up mucous. Im afraid to take any meds with out the consent from the OB. I know they said I can have sudafed and tylenol products. I bought tylenol multi symptom and then found out online that i shouldnt use it. I need something for my chest congestion so now I dont know what to do.

Claudia - UGH for having to remove wallpaper! Theres a project that always takes longer than expected, but when you do and get it painted, then it will start to get fun again! Good thing the furniture you picked is in stock too, who has the patience to wait 12 weeks? not me. Your poor DH is going to have to do all the work by himself, with you as a supervisor - he he. So are you planning to wait to buy bedding until you know the gender? Or are you going with a neutral pattern? ugh, Team Green - you know we're all dying to know what you've got in there, right? Isnt the suspence killing you? Hoping that your Chiropracter appt gives you some relief. mine only turns up when she turns weird and stays there for a while, so lately I've been lucky - whew!

Hazel - Oh, honey I was so hoping that Zorba would start the party on his/her own, but you'll know this weekend! I'm so excited for you to have your baby in your arms finally! I'll say a prayer that it goes well and quicker than you think with stronger meds to get Zorba in a traveling kind of mood. Be brave, Mum - you did a fantastic job! Oooo, I cant wait! - xoxoxo

Angela - yeah, isnt it fun when the site freezes up and wants to post your post over & over? Hopefully its just a trasitionary period at your job and will settle down soon. But crib shopping should perk you right bach up - thats the fun part! Enjoy!

Steph - Oh yeah, I can just imagine how much you've been looking forward to getting out of bed! Even a little walk will feel so good. OK, so you're going to get your L&D tour, maybe not how you planned it, but a nice little sidetrack anyway, right? And yippeee for having Alex for the whole weekend! She will keep you occupied for sure! Now that you're allowed up for short periods will they keep you on Heparin? I'll bet thats been giving you some nice bruising, huh? Ah, its better that Andrew gets these side jobs out of the way now so that when the babies are finally here, he'll have time to just be home and bond with them - and learn all about diaper changes and what to do when they both cry at once - him and Chris have a lot of fast learning to do - it should be amusing for us both- lol
Other than being sick of being there (hospitals are so much fun, huh? ) how are you feeling twin mama? Have the BH been lessening at all?
Hang in there honey - it wont be too much longer now. - xoxoxo

Babyluv - Oh honey your car story was too funny! You see, I found that so funny because I cant fit into my closet anymore since this house is so small that my closet is in the nursery and the big heavy glider is in the way, so I try to do it sideways, umm yeah, not so fun. - Its a real chore to get that moved by myself. And I seem to bump my belly every OB appt when I get on the scale without paying attention to the fact that I have this big belly in front of me.

Tammy - WHOOO HOOOO!!!! Yay! BFP!!!! I'm so happy for you! Now you know we are dying to hear how many at your first u/s! So glad that you're back over here where you belong - heehee now if only Zach will leave your keyboard alone so you can type....
I'm telling you, you've got a computer guy on your hands  How did Bill react? Did he go wild? - xoxoxo

PA - I'm only up 2-3 lbs for the entire pregnancy, now I started off like 30+ pounds over when I got pg, and my OBs arent concerned at all. Yay for FSH meds, huh? And I'm right with you on the joys of fair Scottish skin - fun in the sun- means sunburn pain later... I cant wait to hear about your anatomy scan! Ugh, 2 more weeks? Well, OK - if we really have to wait that long.... Do you have any feelings if you're got a boy or girl? I was dead wrong and Chris too. But its fun to guess sometimes.

Natasha - UGH sorry you've got that congestion, must be the change in waether, but its sucks to be sick while pregnant. And keep calling til they get back to you - thats so rude to not return phone calls to patients - grrr! feel better honey

AFM - I'm just moving slower, and sitting slower and getting up slower... I feel pretty good, but wow do I get tired fast! Savannah has been doing more squirming than kicking, so it feels kind of weird, buI'm wondering if she's got some peephole in there because she just stops moving every single time Chris puts his hands on my belly - I think he's going to get a complex about it soon  I dont know HOW she knows, but somehow she just does. And as soon as he moves away? She goes right back to moving all over! Cheeky monkey already! Ooh, I have to remember to try the ipod idea and see if that will Chris out- lol
much love to you all - xoxoxo

Grrrr...wrote a long post on my iphone but then the connection timed out and I lost it. Sigh.

PA - That is so great of your DH to switch crafts to spend more time at home! Are you going back to work or planning on staying at home with the baby?

Kaite - You are FIVE WEEKS away (hopefully you won't have a stubborn one) so I can only imagine that you are slowing down! Hey, you still do a whole lot more than I do! So funny about the closet...I guess we all forget from time to time that we aren't the same size we were on New Year's!

Natasha - Oh I am so sorry you are sick! That is the WORST kind of cough, and no, you can't control it! I'm sure baby is fine, but I know you want to just feel better. I hope you do soon.

Angela - I'm so sorry for your friend. I hope things at work settle down soon.

Steph - How are those little ones? Any more talk of going home? Glad Alex is with you this weekend and YAY for an extra $1K!! Go Andrew! And YAY for getting to move around!!

Hazel - Since you are about 6 hours ahead of me over here in Florida, I am hoping Zorba is making his/her appearance today!!

AFM - Had a great u/s this morning despite the fact that they forgot to check me in and I waited over an hour!! After waiting 45 min and watching at least 5 other women come in after me and then go in before me, I double checked with the front desk. Sure enough, the woman never actually checked me in. Niiice. I ended up having a good little convo with another twin mom, but I was glad to FINALLY be called back. The u/s tech was NOT happy with the front desk because it threw everything off. Oh well.

The girls look great. Amelia is one day behind weighing 2lbs13oz, and Juliette is one day ahead weighing 3lbs2oz, so they are doing beautifully! Cervix is still good too. I still had to do my NST afterwards since it was ordered by my OB and not the high risk clinic, and I'm pretty sure they are all scared of my OB and don't want to cross him! HA! oh well, that went well also. And wouldn't you know it...they were BOTH looks straight at the camera. OF COURSE they were when it wasn't 4D! ha! They are back to moving all over the place and Amelia is still head down with Juliette head up. They have been like that for so long and I'm not thinking they will be changing positions.

So that's it. My mom is home for a few days (left wed morning coming back sunday afternoon), but the DH has been home more and the kids are being so good. Alex is now such a pro on his two wheeler. I can't believe how fast he picked it up. It's little things like that which make me so proud to be a mom.

Real quick post before I run out the door to go to the airport again.
Angela and Katie have both asked me what I think it is. I really have no clue but everyone else seems to think it is a girl. I know that the sperm determines the gender but no woman on my mom's side of the family has had a boy born since 1899. So IF it is a boy...that would be kind of cool! Yes...really over 100 years with no boys. Strange huh? My hair stylist has a theory. She looks at the new growth (roots) and can tell the gender. She says if the new growth is thin and fine than it is a girl. If the new hair is course and oily/shiny it is a boy. Looking at my recent growth she thinks I am having a girl.
As for names...we have no clue about first names really. If it is a boy the middle name will be John. (It was my father's middle name. He passed 11 years ago. His first grand child, he would have been so proud) If it is a girl the middle name will be Jean. That is my mom's middle name and my father-in-law's mother's name. So baby's great grandmother's name on dad's side. For first names we have only agreed on 2 for girls. I like Kaitlyn Jean and DH and I both like Ciara Jean. Yes GI....the IRISH pronounciation. Not the wacked out butchered American way like the singer. We are both from Irish descent so we really like some of the Irish names. But again...who knows.

Have a great weekend. I'm off to Ireland! XOXOXO

Just saw Babyluv posted while I was typing...I am staying off work until 2012. We can have 1 year maternity leave. I'm taking it. Not paid but it's cheaper for me to stay home than to find child care. DH just found out today that he gets to change aircraft. So now (after 5 w of training) he will be a 777 pilot. (The big ones!) Exciting!

Natasha – I was told that I can take Robitussin DM for my cough but it depends on what stage you are in your pregnancy, so you are doing the right thing by running the over counter medications by them before you take it. I would call them again and insist that you get an answer to help relieve your suffering.

Katie – I definitely understand moving slower because I am weeks behind you and I am moving like a turtle lately. My DH hasn’t been able to feel Gabriella either as when she starts moving a lot and I put my hand or his over my stomach she stops but they said that in a book that that would happen.

Babyluv – Thanks for thinking of my friend. We are going to see her tomorrow and bring her some flowers and a card after our shopping. I just hope I will have energy for all that! I am glad your u/s went well and the two girls decided to finally pose for the camera, huh? But, just a little late right?

PA_FA – So everyone thinks you are having a girl. No boys since 1899 ... wow that is a family history for you! Now, I am really excited to find out what you are having! That is great that you are going to take a year off; you should really enjoy the time with your baby. Congrats on your hubby getting the new job … that is great news!

AFM – Well, I finally finished all of the tests I had to take for work and not a minute too soon because it was so hard for me to focus being pregnant. I kept falling asleep or my stomach kept growling! Tomorrow we are planning to get started on our crib shopping … finally and buy some last minute things for her like wall decorations, infant diapers, and wipes. We have received so many gifts, etc over the last few weeks that our house is officially been taken over by Gabriella. The front entrance and dining room are filled with baby stuff!

Natasha - The sharp pain is round ligament pain (stretching of your uterus). If you recall, I posted the same question right around the same week that you are in right now in your pregnancy. Are they usually on one side or when you get up too quickly or been on your feet for awhile, if so then that is probably what it is (mine also hurt down the center of my uterus also). I brought up the same topic with my high risk OB and they confirmed it was round ligament pain and said it should sub side around 22 or 23 weeks, which it did. I do have the pain only occasionally now if I move too quickly, etc. But, if it makes you feel more comfortable you can definitely run it past your OB.
