Just wondered what time off work others have taken and whether it has been allowed for hospital appts. or taken as annual leave.
I didn't like to ask for time off so took annual leave for all scan appts, ec but took time off for hospital appt for EC then went back to work the following two days before taking a further week off for annual leave.
I am now wondering whether i have decreased my chances of success by not taking more time off following ET and probably should have went to work during 2ww as have not been chilled and relaxed AT ALL!!!!
What have others done?
me 38, DP 35. 1st try at IVF, EC 3/5 6 eggs, ET on 5/5 2 embryos, nil for freezing.
I took four days off of work to get everything started (blood work, ultrasounds, etc.). But I teach school, and summer vacation starts next week. I will have two and one-half months off with my thoughts (and hopefully +tive IVF result)! Good luck with whatever you decide to do!
