Margi sweety it is so great hearing from you. I am not sure what I believe yet but I will not test until tomorrow. How are you feeling what is new with you.
Tammy actually I really tried going through every possibility but my beta was less than 1 a month ago so I ruled that out pretty quickly but the fact that we have tries for so long with this stupid "unexplained infertility" so I have a hard time believing my eyes. How are you holding up? I am keeping my fingers crossed for you

My pee stick was slightly darker again this morning than the last 2 days. I just googled fluctuating hcg levels...and everything is pointing to an ectopic pregnancy...which I guess wouldnt surprise me since they had a difficult time placing my embryos back in on transfer day....remember the cath? She was also a doc who I've never met and has never transferred me...she did tell the nurses that she wanted to do a mock transfer first and I think she did and then placed them. I' cant remember if I mentioned that Sunday nights pee stick looked darker than Sunday morning and Monday morning...now I am thinking that this would explain alot.
So to recap:

Tammy - I'm hoping it's not an ectopic that you're dealing with! I've had two e/p's but they were completely different. The first one, my first beta was 270 and my second was 640 then my OB wouldn't do anymore draws. I didn't know it was an e/p till I went for emergency surgery at 7 weeks. With the last one in August it was definitely funky from the start - faint BFPs for a few days, a BFP on a digi on the same day my beta was only 10 - WTH? It had to have been higher than 10 prior to that draw to get BFPs for 3 days & maybe the level in my urine was still high enough to register a + on a digi? Who knows! But anyways, after that initial draw they more than doubled every 2-3 days till that 5th draw when it took just over 3 days to double. That's when I knew for sure that something was wrong. I hate beta limbo, but hopefully you'll know more with tomorrow's draw and hopefully it will be positive news.

Klinger...see that is just it. For a beta of 38 on Monday...the beta would have had to have been around 14 (based on 66% increase) on Thursday...when my lines were darker?! Unless I lost 1 baby...and another implanted on Friday/Saturday when I had implantation spotting.....or it is a chemical and the numbers are on their way back down and I'm just seeing fluctuations in dye from test to test.....or it is ectopic. Ugh.

Well as I suspected absolutely nothing today just a BFN. I just don't know anymore this process takes everything out of you. I decided not to test anymore since it just upsets me and just focus on the upcoming FET even though there is still no sign of AF but I am certain it will come. We have fantastic embies (6day blasts) to put back and so focusing on that helps. Over the past 3 years we have seen this happen two other times and then just disappear and AF starts so maybe I am prone to chemical pg which sucks. Anyways DH and I decided that if still no AF in 1 week maybe I will retest but for now this is a bfn as always. I guess that is why I am right here with all of you wonderful ladies doing IVF I just wish for once one of us could get that truely amazing and surprising miracle. I think people take it for granted how amazing it must be to be able to just make love to the person you are crazy about and make a baby.

Tammy - Lots of different explanations and also you only have one beta number. I think comparing HPT lines could possibly be off... when I had my ectopic my betas were 33, 57, 57, 36 all 2 days apart. then 7 days apart they were: 44, 226, 705
The first beta of 33 was 9dp3dt. I never did HPTs but I assume they would all show dark lines even though my numbers were the same then up then down. I still think you can have one baby in there and your beta of 38 should be at least 61 on Wednesday right? The first beta of 33 was 9dp3dt. I never did HPTs but I assume they would all show dark lines even though my numbers were the same then up then down. I still think you can have one baby in there and your beta of 38 should be at least 61 on Wednesday right?
