Hello, all of my hopeful mommies! I'm Georgia (Georgi for short) and I'm new to the forums. I've been having trouble conceiving for the longest time and I'm seriously considering IVF. I suppose the only reason I haven't tried it NOW is because I'm nervous about whether it will work or not. . . .of if there will be complications. Either way, you only live once and sometimes it's worth taking a risk. Of course, this is why I'm here. I'm here to gather information, give and accept support and celebrate if my husband and I are successful.
Anyway, I'm glad to be here!
Someday Maybe
People just tell me to keep track of my ovulation like it's SO simple. One day people will understand.
I say definietly do it! I went through my first IVF cycle last month and it worked. We just found out we are pregnant with twins, due on May 6th. Cautiously optomistic after having one miscarriage before the IVF and four rounds of IUI. I was very skeptical on the IVF, if it would really work...what the hormones would do....Honestly, it wasnt bad at all. I would do it again.
If you are considering IVF, I would highly reccommend selecting the Progesteron injections after the transfer over the suppositories.
The suppositories caused me to be extremely crampy and bloated and even spotted a little when trying to transition off the suppositories....
You are right, you only live once.......best of luck and lots of baby dust!!!
Someday - It is nice to see that you have made the big step to start IVF … congrats and welcome. You might want to move over to the IVF chat board because there are several women who are just starting or have had several cycles of IVF already. They are a great group of people and will give you a lot of support! Good luck to you. By the way, it looks like we are neighbors. I am live right outside of Dayton, Ohio.
I am a newbie too, I go Monday for a U/S to see when I can get a transfer kind nervous scared and excited all in one
