Hi ladies!!

I am officially in my dreaded 2ww. I love these boards it is great to have support from other women going through the same thing. I really thought I would feel pregnant or at least different after my ET. I am trying to be positive but after all the negative prego tests I have taken I am just so worried this didn't work. I am in Utah, my insurance does not cover anything so this will be our only attempt for now.

How many bfp's so far from this group?

Hi - I've just got back after a week's holiday - so nice to get away. I feel normal now but first four days mega sore boobs. I get the occasional cramps but just mild. We test on 29th which is 14 days post-transfer.

Emma - the third embie didn't make it to day 5 so no frosties for me. I lie down for an hour after putting one of the progesterone tablets in because they do drip out (a thick white discharge type stuff - I think its just the melted vegetable fat they're made out of). top tip is wear a panty liner because otherwise you will ruin your knickers.
Me - 29 AMH level of 7
First timer
Short antagonist cycle started 30/08/10
5 eggs = 3 embryos
2 embryos transferred

Jers - good luck and my fingers are crossed for your 2ww...let us know. When is your beta test?

Emma - well wishes for your PUPO status!!!! I cant wait till i hear some good news too!

God is Amazing...just remember its not about yes or no...its about when he is ready to answer you.

I feel like i am stuck in a time warp, my days and nights are going oh so slow. We started being aggresive in June and it took 6 weeks to make me get a period after 2 rounds of provera and 21 days of BCP's. Then two weeks of stims, IUI, and 11 days of waiting just to start a period when i didnt want one. :(

God is good though. Alot of people say he wont give you more that you can handle, well he has faith that i am incredibly strong. With the exception of Kaylie, whom I met on this site yesterday, my husband, and one friend here...i dont have much support and understanding. Its no big deal to everyone i know to have kids. Since Feb the first time we went to RE, i have had 3 friends get pregnant. Its hard to look your 19 year old sister in the face who is pregnant and has never even babysat. She didnt want kids...i went through that 3 years ago. I think that was the hardest.

just wanted to share some feelings

I know exactly what you mean. DH and I started trying soon after we were married 4 years ago and 3 months after we started trying I was diagnosed with cancer (cervical) it was so scary and frustrating but DH and I prayed and asked Jesus for help and my cancer miraculously disappeared but as soon as I was better and we resumed trying we encountered blind infertility AKA (Unexplained) and so endless iui's and 1IVF resulting in a miscarriage here we are. No one around me and DH understand. we know 11 couples I am not kidding "11" who have gotten pregnant since we started trying including my baby sister who is 17 who got pregnant this summer two weeks before my IVF ER. So now that we hoping to try again (FET next month) we are not even talking to anyone. You are absolutely right my sister did not want a baby either but she is having one non the less. I find it impossible to even hang out with our friends anymore because it is always a conversation about pregnancy or babies
Anyways may God grant us patience and I hope and pray that soon we will all hold our babies in our arms.

annashope- Hey lady, how are things going? I was just thinking about you and wondered what your timing was going to be for next month. I am still waiting for my cycle to start after my D&C...long wait. I would like to get the show on the road. :) Anyway just wanted to say hello!

To the rest of you ladies in waiting....praying for you all to have the strength to get through as you wait for the news you have long been hoping for. It's hard, but the reward is great. I think that is what keeps us all going. Saying a prayer for you all right now.

Good luck and lots of sticky thoughts for each of you. :)

Mellow yay it is so great hearing from you. I am still waiting on AF which is 4 days late now ugh then I will start Lupron and after my Lupron period I will be doing Estrogen patches until transfer which I hope and pray is in Early November. I am so frustrated with the waiting. I mean I know I will be there soon but this is really tough now for some reason. I can't wait to start. It doesn't help that my sister who was only two weeks pregnant ahead of me this summer constantly points out how far along she is. I mean I am of course happy for her but it is a constant painful remainder of where I would have been now if not for the m/c

Mellow and Annashope,

I am crashing this thread to send you both a message...so glad to hear about you both. I know that we all wish this process would go more quickly, but I once things get going--as in BFP's for us all--time will likely race by.

I am feeling fairly low key, but positive. Happy to be reading about so many women's successes happening!! Sending positive messages and prayers to all those "ladies in waiting"...it is sooooo hard.

I went to see a new RE (Thanks Mellow for that encouragement!). He is wonderful! He is warm and smart and optimistic despite my odds. He was genuinely concerned about my first experience and determined not to send me down that dangerous road again. Unfortunately we do not have the finances for IVF, but he is willing to do IUI with injectibles, so off we go! As soon as next AF comes--early October, I will start! He will be doing a HSG test to make sure that my one tube is open (please, please let it be so) but he is willing to do the test after starting injectibles so that we do not waste another cycle. I know that the odds aren't great with my age, etc. but a saying I believe is: "do the best you can with what you have."

The positive energy alone in his office and with his nurse is enough to give me a boost! He even joked and said that he isn't married to any of the nurses so that if I have any problems to please come to him. (I explained a little about why I had left the previous practice--a husband/wife team.)

Anyway...I am not finding much action when I peek over at the IUI threads, unless I am looking in the wrong places. "Tiger" suggests that I cycle with the Fall IVF group. Where are you ladies going to be? Whether I post myself on the thread or not I'll be watching, praying and hoping for the best for you both...lots of baby dust as we wait to begin..BFPs soon!!!! :)

Hi ladies,
I want in on September club!

This is my second attempt at IVF.
First cancelled on day 6 in July due to poor response from stims. I still think it was early to cancel but then I learned my estrogen levels were dropping. Heartbreaking for first run. My hubby is a cancer survivor and we had to freeze his boys before treatment. Once we got remission confirmation, I got my tests with high fsh for 33 so we had started with an already aggressive protocol which made it that much harder when we got the cancellation.

Now it's onto round two! A lot less stressed this time and more prepared, I had no idea what I was getting myself into the first round. They put me on AACEP Protocol. anyone else on this...?

After my cancelled cycle I waited for my period it came soooo late and then lasted 12 days vs. The 3.5 I am used to.
I started OCP, AKA birth control on the first day of my period then took full pack. I jumped right into lupin shots at the start of my next period followed by ganirelex. Started day 1 with ganirelex and gonal f and now mixing it up daily with ganirelex, menopur, gonal f , estradiol shot and estradiol pill. Good times. I am doing yoga for fertility every other day and acupuncture once a week.
Last time I was monitored daily and this time I won't go in until day 10 as this is a much slower protocol. Have no idea if my follies are growing but hoping for the best I go in on friday.

Having a tough time balancing work pressure and concentrating. Wishing the best for us all!

Looking for encouragement!!

I hope it all goes really well for you. Glad to hear from both you and Anna. Will keep you posted on my timing so we can "be there" for each other again.

Having a little pain on the right ovary... hoping that means follies are developing! We'll find out tomorrow.
