Can you say HUGE RELIEF? Congratulations Tammy! That is great news! What day is today past 3 day transfer? How come they want over 100? Does it matter as long as it is increasing?

See - the PMA paid off! :)

14dp3dt. 100 is just what my clinic looks for is all...but every clinic is different. I still havent heard from the nurse.

I plugged my numbers into betabase...I'm nervous again. Still thinking it could be ectopic. Remember I've had positive hpt's since last Thursday. What were your numbers again?

However, my other theory is that 1 baby implanted and passed away...hence the early pos on an hpt and then suddenly lighter lines on the hpt and the sudden loss of pregnancy symptoms too...THEN another implanted on Friday/Saturday...when I had implantation spotting, and that is the one that is growing now and implanted at 12/13 dpo...hence the low numbers. Thoughts?

TAMMY - Congrats on your #'s !!!!!!! I think anything is possible. I had a sub-chorionic hemmorhage and RE feels I lost a twin. I never thought I could still be pregnant with blooding gushing out of me like that. I almost miscarried this one, but thank god I didn't and am 16 weeks ( knock wood ) :D I'll keep saying a prayer for you, hugs :D

Thanks girls! I go back today for another beta...I'm soooo nervous. My lines are getting darker again each day...so I am optimistic that my numbers went up, but no idea if they went up enough. Deep breathe! lol

It's over. 58.8. It's either ectopic or a miscarriage. I think I'm done with IVF.

Tammy - I am so sorry hun. What a ride you have been on and having just jumped off the same ride, I completely understand your feelings of joy then down then joy only to be let down again. It is an awful rollercoaster. Here are my numbers again:

when I had my ectopic my betas were 33 (9dp3dt) , 57, 57, 36 all 2 days apart.

then 7 days apart they were: 44, 226, 705

Huge hugs for you, please have your RE test your beta again to make sure it is going down. We kept testing evey week but for me, I should have insisted in 3 days. The whole thing dragged too long then my numbers started spiking up (but not normally) so between my elation of a BFP and the methotraxate shot for my ectopic it was 4 to 5 weeks in beta limbo. Then after the shot it took me 7 weeks to get a zero beta. So my advice is monitor it closely but don't wait too long if they do think it is an ectopic to take the MTX shot. Then if you take it, you should not do IVF for 3 months. And also you need tostop taking folic acid after your MTX shot. I don't mean to overwhelm you right now, I just want to minimize your pain with not dragging this like for me and also let you know my experience.

PM or email me if you need anything... huge hugs and I am so sorry you have to go through this hun...

Hi,

This is a question for ghost and all to answer for me if possible??

This is my second attempt of IVF and using 1 frozen embryo. I had an ET on Monday 4th October, when I was having the procedure the doc said I have a Polop on my uterus, so im on my 2ww and woke up this morning and was very lightly bleeding this only showed when wiping myself but however since this morning ive been again and was clear of blood so i could be spotting. My tummy still feels delicate as they had problems finding my uterus when ET was taking place, then discovered that I had such a full bladder they couldnt see it clearly. So once I relieved myself they found it straight away and done the inplant. I was poked about and is thinking that the reason im still feeling discomfort is because of that?? I am taking the progestrone and using patches to thicken my lining.
The first time I had bleeding on the first IVF cycle 3 days after procedure and started light then got worse as the days went on and the end result was a Negative, but so far as I know its still early days and still its ok.

Is it common to bleed with polops?
If so why and what causes it?
Could it lower my chances of getting a positive result?
And is it all conected?
Should I be getting slight pains in my lower uterus area?

I know so many questions but although ive been through it before im still clueless about the whole thing. I just hope you can help me as I cant afford to get stressed out,

Thanks lisa32. :(
