baby name advice

Post by kerribell »

What do you think of Emery for a girl's name. I like it, but don't want her to be made fun of later. Please give me your honest opinions. Thanks.

You should always go with what you like for your baby! :) Some people may not like it, but that isn't what matters. Look at Tom Cruise naming his daughter Suri or Nickolas Cage naming his kid after Superman, people took double takes and made their comments, but they have been accepted. Emery is more known as a boy name, but there are many of those out there too and are totally accepted! Not to mention, you can feminize the name with a nickname, for example, Emmy is cute. :) Then there is playing with the spelling, like Emerie or Emeri. Personally, I like the name and don't see her getting made fun of for having the name. I think you should go for it. After all, you have worked hard to get your little miracle, you deserve to give her a good strong name if you want to! ;)
