bei- congrats on the 2 boys!!!!!!!! How exciting. I can't give any recommendations...I'll leave that to the other mommies. :)

Steph- Well, if rumors are correct and sweet cravings is a girl and salty is a boy than I would think I'm having a girl. LOL I'm usually not much of a sweets or junk food person anyhow. Now I can't get enough peaches or apple pie or snickers. EEK! OK and holy big babies!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do they not know that they are SHARING space and not trying to stretch mommy like taffy? MMMM taffy. Sounds like they will avoid NICU which is great. I hope you get some sleep and have these little pumpkins soon!

Katie- OH I am so happy you are almost there. The nursery is all ready? Bags packed? Oh I am so excited for everyone who is getting close.

Angela- 30-60 seconds? Is it like just one cramp or like pulsating cramps? Sorry for the questions. I am just trying to get informed so when it happens I don't freak out too much.

Well that's all for me for tonight. I'll talk to you all tomorrow. I hope the baby cooperates and we can find out the sex. Nighty night!

PA_FA - No, please ask all the questions that you want. We are here for each other! For me that is just one constant contraction that feels like it is hard a rock. I know for others it can vary. It doesn't hurt but it is just really uncomfortable and awkward feeling. To be honest it reminds me of when I ran track back in high school and I didn't stretch beforehand … lol.

Steph - Holy Moley! Are you serious? 6 lbs each?? Well I guess I cant them little ones anymore, then can I? They are huge! Hmmm, yep, your Andrew sure wasnt kidding about Fords having BIG babies! I mean, jeez, I knew they were good to go, but wow at 6 lbs each? No wonder why my dear friend is hurting so bad. What the heck have you been eating? And hooray for a long closed cervix, and maybe the previa gone! Do you have any idea which way you're thinking? I know you just got all kinds of new info today, but do you think you'll hold out for a vaginal delivery? I'm not too keen on the idea of a c section either
but it seems to be so common with twins, and boy there sure are two in you! If your OB said first of the month, OMG thats this friday - eeek! If you want to wait for a possible vaginal, will you be allowed to walk around and perhaps coax them along? heh heh - somehow I just didnt think that your Ethan & Angelina were going to see the inside of a NICU this whole time, now? Oh, I'm sure they wont. GAH! Give Andrew a detailed list of things to get and send that man to the stores. Theres no way you'll have any time to finish your list after the babies are home, and up every few hours, when sleep is just a fond memory. Ummm, so , ok, if these relatives insist on coming right away ( when its most inconvenient  ) I'll try to not stress for you, but Andrew is supposed to be your second in charge, not waiting on guests. I hope they get it, two brand new babies do not equal Steph cooking dinner, or shopping for guests. Sorry, if thats rude, i dont mean to be, i just worry that you're going to be getting up too often if you have a c section thats all. Ok, I'll be checking in tomorrow after my OB appt - yes, every tuesday is now OB day around here. I cant wait to to hear which way you're leaning towards. Hang in there twin mama, you're doing a great job! much love to you - xoxoxo

Babyluv - I think that Amelia & Juliette are really beautiful names, but I hear you on worrying that they're too popular. I think thats what made me change from Ryan. Well that and the idea that there would always be someone asking "girl Ryan or boy Ryan" Although, theres never any final decision til they're in your arms, right? You totally hit the jackpot with Scarlett. I cant tell you how much I love that name! Alex sounds like quite the little man, glad to ghear that he takes his role as big brother so seriously! aw too sweet! But yes, yikes! 3 girls in HS at the same time? Whew! girl, you're going to live at the mall! And I hope your DH doesnt think that he will ever even see a bathroom when they're teens  Oh, and I've just joined you on the sore hips club. OW!

Claudia - How goes the wallpaper project?

Angela - Aw, Gabriella is 2.5 lbs already, its nice to be measuring right on target, isnt it? Boy I must say that I'm a little jealous that I seem to be the only one without a baby weight estimate. tomorrow I have the HR OB again, so I'll try to nag a weight out of him  How much longer until you're on maternity leave? Or at least able to have shorter hours? I get nervous for all of you with these darn BHs! Glad your scan went great.

PA - Not to put a hole in your gender theory, but, I've been craving both salty & sweet this entire time. Oh, and thanks for mentioning taffy, now I want that too! yum!

Bei - Congratulations on 2 boys! You must be so excited! How are you feeling honey?

AFM - Ummm, I cant really complain, especially with how bad that Steph's been feeling, but ow,ow,ow - my hips hurt. I know I didnt do too much walking today, since all I managed was the grocery store (slowly) the bank (slowly) and the post office ( by that time, very slowly) ugh, I swear it seems like each day brings some new type of ow! And oooh, can I bring up how hard its getting to get in & out of the car? Granted its a Dodge Caliber, so pretty low to the groud, but it must be funny to watch how long it takes me! I'm starting to wish that Savannah would like to come a little early, but i doubt it, she's still up pretty high. And since i already feel lots of pelvic pressure, I can guess how much fun it will be to walk when she does decide to drop low -

Ok, another OB appt down. This one went a little better since it was the HR OB and he's a question answerer. He did another pelvic exam and told me they'll do one every week now until the big day, my cervix is closed but shows some softening, so thats good, right? And he said all my labs look great, my GBS (group b strep) came back negative so yippee for no IV during delivery, of antiboitics at least - haha pain meds would be just fine though - hee hee
He did give me a guess on Savannah's weight, but I didnt get a u/s, he went by measurements and thinks she is around 6 lbs. So i'm thrilled to hear that since including today's weight for me, I'm only up 4.5 lbs for the whole pregnancy (which still seems odd cause I eat all the time) Next Tues I'll have the OB that I didnt care for the only time I've met him, so i hope this time goes better. It would be so more relaxing if I wasnt stressing which Dr I'll get on the big day - so we'll see next week if he is still giving me jokes instead of answering my questions (hopefully) OK its time to feed the belly -again
I'm patiently awaiting Steph's update and PA's gender results! i cant wait to hear both of your news girlies! much love - xoxoxo

Hi ladies,

Steph Wow!!! What big babies you have in there no wonder you are so sore and uncomfortable!!!! I just hope you have a safe and healthy delivery whichever way it happens. As for you in laws like seriously i really cant believe they are still coming and staying in your house fair play to you cause there is No way i would be having that!

Rileybaby Yeah for 39 wks so its a race between you and steph who goes next

PA my BH starts with my breath going first, then my stomach gets really tight and uncomfortable and is rock hard to touch it isnt sore at all, mine lasts about 10 - 20 seconds then i can feel my breath returning to normal and my tummy goes soft again, Kayla is starting to enjoy the BH and decides its a great time to kick or turn around during one which then makes them even more uncomfortable  oh gawd i am geting one now...deep breaths!

bei congrats on 2 boys!!! Sorry cant help you with bath or buggy question.

Angela thats fantastic news little Gabrielle is doing so well and measuring on time, i hope Kayla does just as well tomorrow.

babyluv oh those are lovely names and not very common over here in Ireland, can you believe you will be a mum of 4 soon :D

Claud how are you and little Flick doing??

Katie so you must be now at what they consider the "heavily" pregnant stage by the sounds of your uncomfortableness. Jason has been telling everyone for wks i am "heavily" pregnant i am like eh no not for another while you aint seen big yet!

AFM excited and nervous about tomorrows scan hopefully she will kick away in the morning so i know she is ok before the scan i swear i never relax when it comes to scans!!

Katie – I am glad that your appointment went well. I forgot to tell you during my last post that my high risk OB decided to do a cervical check since I have been having so many BH and I immediately thought of you because you talked about your docs checking yours a few weeks ago. But, believe it or not, she was very gentle and it didn’t hurt too badly. I think it is because it was a female doctor and they know how uncomfortable those exams can be so she took it easy! So they think Savannah weighs around 6 pounds … that is great news! I can’t believe that you only gained 4.5 pounds. That is truly amazing because I know I gained almost 15 pounds or more. Oh well, I guess that means I have a lot of work to do when she is born because I gained some weight with all of the hormones for IVF also.

Riley baby maybe – 39 weeks is fantastic news! I can’t wait to hear about your delivery. I am praying everything goes smoothly.

Gi – I too understand the feeling of being fearful prior each scan but I know Kayla is doing just fine. I can’t wait to hear how well she does tomorrow. I love your statements about the cheesecake … you are too funny!!!

AFM – Well, work is officially driving me absolutely crazy! I spent all morning on the phone discussing all of the significant changes that will occur starting next week. This morning made me pray for my maternity leave so I can get away from them for awhile. Thank god I have a very good business partner to help deal with the madness. In regards to the BH, they started up often this afternoon so I guess it is time to lie down and relax for awhile.

Gi - No worries, your scan will go perfect! :) You are trotting along great in this pregnancy! Yes, the in-laws are selfish and don't listen. Sometimes I wonder if they even understand English! As long as Andrew sticks to his word and they actually listen to him, I am hoping it won't be too bad. Though because they are so persistant, watch me be still in the hospital the whole time they are here and thy don't get to see babies. HA!

Katie - YAY for a softening cervix. I can't believe Savannah is weighing the same as my little monsters. lol Wonder if they will end up being born on the same day too. Oh my, what a thought! I am so jealous that you haven't even gained 5lbs. I am sure I gained over 10 by now, but no one has weighed me since my 10lb mark at the OB 2 weeks before I ended up here. So that was 5 weeks ago. Yikes! I have been here a while now. lol

Riley - Congrats on hitting 39!! Any day now you will have your little miracle. You are right, we gt uncomfortable but what we are uncomfortable for is so worth it!

Angela - Sorry about the madness at work. Just rest as much as you can until you get that much deserved leave! I hope those BH leave you alone! It's not time yet Gabriella, practice for labor later! ;) Take care baby mama!

Pa - Patiently waiting for boy/girl news!!! lol

AFM - *Sigh* Ok, so the HR doc comes in this morning after a round table discussion with many other docs about my new found marginal placenta previa and said that they all agree that I should not be delivered before 37 weeks now. So we went from him pondering the thought of 35 weeks yesterday to no way, it's 37. The only way to go earlier is to bleed of course or labor on my own. I know the longer the better for babies but the decisions they make keep changing. I hate that, you all know I am a planner. I take what they say as a plan. Like when my OB said 35 weeks forever ago. So Katie, might as well change my due date to "indefinately". lol They won't schedule a c-section now and I still have the option of a vaginal delivery. I really do prefer to go all naturale, but then again I am still a bleeding risk and don't want an emergency c-section. So the way I figure it... If I actually make it to 37 weeks and they check me again and the placenta has moved even more, I am going for the vaginal. If I labor on my own before than without bleeding, I am leaning towards vaginal that way too. So I guess the choice is vaginal, unless I bleed. I really am scared of the knife. lol

Ok, I was bored and tried to take a picture of myself with my face and belly included. I don't have very many since all I have been taking is belly shots and no one has taken any pics of me. Well, my shower pics are with my scatter brained neighbor who threw the shower and I have yet to see them... if she knew how to operate the camera even. Anyway, I wasn't going to post it here since it isn't that great of a pic, I'm not smiling and such, but I rethought it and what the hell. lol I want Alex to take some pictures of Andrew and I too, to include my face! I figure, it isn't good if I don't have any proof it was actually me who carried these huge babies. LOL Oh, yes, I made it to the couch/bed as you will see. I have to get around and move a little. I asked the nurse if I can get permission to walk around more. Before the second bleed, after the first when I was still considered complete, they said I could. I thought now that I am marginal I might have a shot at it. She doesn't seem to think so but will ask. I hope I can or I will just start pacing my room! lol

Stephanie – Even though you took the picture yourself, you didn’t do such a bad job. So now, they are talking about 37 weeks huh? By then the babies could weigh 7 pounds apiece … wow! So you are going to try to deliver vaginally now. I have to tell you that I am so proud of you for even attempting that task for two babies weighing as much as full term singletons! Have you been having a lot of contractions lately? Do you think you will make it to 37 weeks at this point?

PA_FA – Yeah!!! You are having a baby girl. I am just thrilled for you. I have had just a horrible day and chatting with you ladies and learning how everyone is doing makes me feel so much better. I hope you have a great dinner with your DH. You guys have to be on top of the world!!!!

Natasha – I am so sorry that school is so overwhelming. I have to give you great accolades because I can barely focus while I am pregnant let alone studying for tests. When I went through nursing school I had to be extremely focused and spent long hours studying. I am just so proud of you!
