Chili.... You are waaaayyy stronger than me! I'd POAS right now if I thought I had a reason too. I start to get antsy 4 days before. You're doing good! Don't worry about the symptoms, the meds mess with your head and your body. Hang in there! You're almost there!

Krys.....Awwww....I feel so bad for you. :( I'm the same way with those PIO shots. I was limping and complaining the whole time. I would almost tear up every morning. Are you on 2cc? I've only done 1cc before. I will have to do the 2cc though. I did get knots, but not quite as big as baseballs. They say to massage the injection site hard after to break it up...which I'm sure you're doing already. I hope that you get some kind of relief soon.

Ginger....I was really hoping to be on the same schedule as you. My best friend's name is Ginger too. It's been a while for me and the menopur, but I'm pretty sure it's 1cc of water per vial. If you are doing 2 or more vials per day, you can mix them all in the 1cc of water.

Klinger....Good luck on your procedures today. You girls have me thinking that I should ask about a trial transfer. I had scar tissue on my cervix when he did the OHS procedure last week. Do you think it will come back before I get to transfer....if I make it? He did say that it was a good thing he pushed through it beforehand.

Lou....I'm sorry you're not feeling well. Have you ever tried a Netti Pot? It works. It will help you breathe and you will recover faster. Hope you feel better soon!

Franny....Thinking of you and DH! Hoping you get positive results!

Nancy....Glad to hear that your lupron is going well. I was on it for 5 days and was okay. I drank lots of water to stay hydrated. I did take tylenol if I felt a twinge of anything because the last time I did lupron, I was in bed for 3 days with a migraine.

AFM....Yep...I'm going in and out of crazytown. I've peeked at a couple of agencies already...and nothing. I'm going to try to stay away from it today. Not easy.

Have a great day girls!

Tx -- Yes.... Attach the larger needle to a 3 ml syringe and draw up 1 cc of your diluent (sodium chloride). Using the same needle, add it to the Menopur vial. Swirl it and then draw everything out. It is tough to get every little bit out so don't worry too much if there's a few drops left in the vial. Don't forget to change the needle to the small needle before injecting yourself. Good luck!

Ginger - You can also ask for a QCap which makes it easier to get the drugs out Then, you take off the 3 in, put the cap on to get the meds, and then put the small 1 in needle on.

As is, take the 1 cc of fluid out, put it in the vial of meds, take out all of the dissolved fluid by only sticking the tip in to extract (if there's two vials of menopur, put this liquid in the next vial and repeat), and then change the needle for injection.

There are videos from Freedom Fertility: http://www.freedommedteach.com/player/Videos.aspx

Hope everyone's doing ok today.

Chili - I'm trying really hard to stay away from the sticks as well but there's a little bit inside me that just wants to do it! I know exactly what you mean with not wanting to be disappointed. I'm going to try my very hardest to resist. But Saturday seems so far away. I'm possibly off to visit friends on Sat who work overseas but are in NZ at the moment. They have a month old Boy from IVF. It'll be a bit freaky if I receive the 'Yay' or 'Nay' call whilst visiting them.

Karin - crazy town huh! Whatever you decide to do will be the right decision. Easy for me to say I guess though!

Klinger -good luck with everything today.

Lou - you are a machine and I get tired just thinking about all the amazing amounts of energy that you have. Your Lee experience must have been awesome. He was one of my faves on AI.

Fran - I hope you're doing okay. What a hard time you are going through. Hang in there and I am really hoping for a positive result!

Anyway folks, I'm really sorry I can't reply to everyone but I've been juggling visitors and their wee kiddies all week. I'm still reading the posts but finding it difficult to reply.

AFM - am not feeling any symptoms other than a few twinges which could be pre menstrual twinges. Am not worrying too much about it though. Just trying hard to stay away from the sticks! My bloodtest is on Sat so not far to go now.

Thanks for the good luck wishes ladies for my procedures today. The saline u/s and trial transfer went fine - no issue with the catheters getting into the cervix so that was a relief. Pretty disappointed in my antral follie count though - only saw 4. I know not to expect many (what with only having one ovary) but my last AFC in July was 9 so I guess that got my hopes up. I know things can still change before I start stims on 10/8 and from what they said I'll be on a pretty high dose of stims, but my PMA just took a giant hit with that 4. :(

karin -- No, I'm not familiar with Netti Pot. I'll have to check into it! Thanks!

Tess -- I think it's a sign that you're visiting a friend with an IVF baby when your beta is due. It's BABY DUST... hehe. Normally, I have a ton of energy... but this cold has me beat down. I'm leaving work in a bit but I have a dinner presentation to go to tonight. I was really looking forward to it before and now it will be tough to get through it. I'm a fighter though. Tomorrow I have a "craft fair" to go to, Friday a party, and then Saturday is my high school reunion. I'm going to the parade, the game, and the evening events. Sunday I want to go to the Logan Square Farmer's Market in search of french macarons. There's a woman who makes them there and I'm jonesing for them! They are amazing french meringue cookies. Here's her website http://macaronchicago.com/. I got addicted while in Paris in June... hehe.

Lou...go get the Netti Pot! Dr. Oz recommends it! I've tried it....and it works! It won't make it go away instantly, but it will help you breathe easier.

Hello ladies,

Karin- I never had a trial transfer either. I had
never heard of them until I read some posts on here.
I hope your test results are good, you can count on
me to say a prayer for you!

Tess- good luck on Saturday with the blood test
fingers crossed for you!

Klinger- I'm sorry that you were not more excited
about the amount of follicles found but maybe they
are the perfect four that you've been waiting so long
for..

Txcplforivf- sorry to scare you with my progesterone
story but it really has been a pain in my butt. I know
the pain will all be worth it when I get a positive but
until then there is nothing attractive about a lumpy butt lol!
I'm glad your ultrasound looked good and clear! Yay for
stims on Friday, good luck.

Afm

I'm doing okay in my 2ww I'm working so I'm staying
pretty busy which is good except that I'm in so much pain
from the progesterone shots at the end of a work day it's
almost too sore to sit. I called my nurse and she said
once I get a positive preggo test we can switch to something else.
I would have no problem doing them if I really knew if there
was a baby in here or not.

Good luck to everyone that I missed, baby dust to you all!
