Hi everyone, I had my ER today and it went well. I did only get 4 eggs but at least it wasn't less I didn't have any pain during the procedure, the worst part was the IV because I have difficult veins. The antibiotic they pushed through my IV also burned like hell but the procedure itself was a breeze. I did feel nauseous afterwards even tho they gave me something before hand but I never actually got sick. I haven't had any cramps or spotting. So now I'm waiting for tomorrow to hurry up and get here so I can get my fertilization report. They said they would call around noon. This kind of waiting is hard! Thanks for thinking of me today.

Klinger, I'm glad your tests went well today. I know the AFC can be discouraging but just remain positive, you never know what the outcome will be

Hello ladies, I was wondering if I might join you all. Long story short, I am 28 years old and have had repeat ectopics which has resulted in the loss of both tubes. For that reason, I am in my first IVF cycle (I begin lupron injections today). I am super nervous, yet excited. Nervous that this may not work and excited that I am on my way to possibly having a new baby.

Just a quickie. I succumbed! POAS! And it was a positive. I'm trying to contain my excitement until my bloodtest and confirmation tomorrow, and then of course that second beta - that's where it all started to go pear-shaped last time. I haven't told DH yet as he can't understand me POAS before the bloodtest.

Ginger - 9 sounds high to me, but I don't know anything. Wish I could help. You'll get there soon, hun. There's no cause for concern. Delaying two days for lining is NOTHING. OH! and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Tess - OMG OMG OMG. I knew it! YAY!!! I can't wait for even more confirmation tomorrow

Krys - I've never done the shots, but I have a friend who has welts so bad that you can see them through her pants! Hang in there!!

Chili - The suspense is killing me. I cannot believe your will power.

Lou - I went to ONE concert two weekends ago and I'm still exhausted. I don't know how you do it.

Amanda (Kling) - 4 is fine!! QUALITY.

AFM - 4 embryos made it through the PGD single gene extraction. We'll find out the results on Saturday morning and I'll also be on call for my ET! The last two days have been rough. DH and I have been arguing constantly. BIG arguments. He wants to go visit his parents the weekend right after we get the results?! I obvi can't go, so he's gonna leave me after a BFN or BFP. He hasn't seen them in 3 months, which I guess is a long time for them, but what's two more weeks?? His mother is CRAZY and literally cries and stomps her feet when she doesn't get what she wants. She talks in a baby voice to him and would probably sleep with him if she ould. Whatevs. Of course it escalated and I kinda hate him. He has no idea what this is doing to be physically, emotionally, and mentally. Seriously.

Crystal - Welcome to our group and good luck with this IVF cycle! I'll add you to tomorrow's list. I'm so sorry about your ectopics! I'm tubeless too (and down an ovary) thanks to 2 ectopics this year and they are terrible to go through. Congrats on starting the Lupron today and you'll find lots of support here!

Tess - YAY!!! Is your beta tomorrow then? I had it down on the list for Saturday but if it's tomorrow, that's one less day we have to wait to stalk you for your post, yippee!!

Ginger - I'm not sure what the lining should be. Did your RE say what they wanted it to be when you went?

Franny - hope you're doing ok! As you can see, we all miss you and are thinking of you!

Lauren - thanks, I'll remember QUALITY! YAY for 4 embies making it through! Sorry you and DH are battling - that really stinks and your MIL sounds like a real piece of work with her baby voice crap...UGH!!!

Tess- Congrats on your BFP! That is so exciting. So your offical beta is tomorrow? Is your second on Sunday or Monday?

Ginger- sorry I'm not much help with the lining thing but I hope you get to start soon!

Crystal- Welcome! Sorry about your e/p but hopefully IVF will be just what you need. How long are you on Lupron? Did you do BCP? When do you start stims and what are you taking?

blang- Congrats on your 4 eggies! Have you heard on your fertilization report yet?

Klinger- dont be down about your AFC. I've heard of ladies getting more eggs then what their AFC showed so hopefully with your high doses you will get much more then that! Fingers crossed for you!

Chili- Are you still being superwoman and holding out? One more day to go YAY!

Franny- Hope everything is ok with you and DH please know that I'm thinking of you all the time.

AFM- Just rooting for all of you lovely ladies and trying to be patient until tomorrow's u/s

Chili--I don't know how you resist POAS!!! I never can...but good for you! Almost there. Sending tons of baby dust your way.

Lauren319--I SO hear you girl! I thought it was just me. DH and I seem to have the worst arguments during IVF intense times. I am sure it is the stress on both them and us, but I wish they could be more understanding regarding what all this does to us on EVERY level--as you said, physically, emotionally, and mentally. I am sorry--but glad I am not alone in dealing with it. This whole process puts so much stress on relationships. Vent--vent--vent. And take care of yourself. You gotta--or you'll go nuts. And try to concentrate on those 4 embies--yipee there!

All other ladies--well wishes...baby dust...and PMA....

AFM Waiting anxiously for AF so I can get this party started! Not a cycle to waste! I am pretty regular so I should be seeing AF in about 10 days. Then start on day 3! I am quite uncomfortable right now because I had a ganglion cyst removed from my wrist. I didn't think it was going to be much of a deal, but it was surgery-yesterday-and today hurts like heck! My hand is wrapped up like a mummy and is supposed to stay bandaged for 2 weeks. No fun there. In fact, typing is a pain as my surgery was on my left hand (and of course I'm leftie!) Wanted to get it taken care of before I started my next cycle because this one will be THE one! 4th try is the charm?

Teresa: I began BCP 9/12 and will continue until 10/3. I will be taking the lupron until 10/9 I believe (I don't have my paperwork in front of me right now), followed w/ stimming w/ Menopur,Bravelle, and Repronex on 10/6. I'm a bit concerned b/c there was a very small cyst on my left ovary at ultrasound last week. Will Lupron help shrink this? I'm terrified that my cycle will get cancelled.

Crystal -- Welcome to the group. We are on similar schedules. I'm currently doing Lupron shots. I have my suppression check on 10/8 and will start stims on 10/9 (provided all goes well) I, too, am on BCP until 10/3. My current plan has tentative ER for the week of 10/18. Lots of GREAT support here. You came to the right place.

Tess -- Congrats! on your BFP! How very exciting.

blang -- When will you get your fert report? Keep us updated.

Teresa -- You have an u/s tomorrow, right? I simply can't wait. I wont' have access to computer until tomorrow night but I'll be thinking of you and check in as soon as I can.

Chili -- good job resisiting. My dh has already told me that he doesn't want me POAS. Even in our paperwork from our RE it says DO NOT take a home pregnancy test because of the large number of false positives and false negatives. In our IVF class the nurse said "at least half of you in here will disregard that advice and will take a test anyway" LOL LOL

AFM -- Lupron injections are still going well. Kind of makes me worry that it's not doing what it should since I'm not having any side effects but I know that's a silly way to think. I need to just be thankful. I do have a bit of nasuea in the afternoon so I'm thinking that's from the Lupron.

Congrats Tess on the BFP I can't wait to hear about your beta

AFM, I just got the call I've been anxiously awaiting all day. So out of the 4 eggs retrieved, only 3 were mature and only 2 fertilized so as of today, we have two embyros!!!! I'm officially farther than I've ever been during this 2 year journey. I know two doesn't leave any room for something to go wrong, if they stop growing then that's it, I won't make it to transfer but I'm going to be positive because I can't control anything. It is out of my hands. I just pray that it is God's will to give us a baby. They will call Saturday with another report. I will be on pins and needles but I'm going to try and stay busy....somehow

Thank you all for thinking of me, you have been a great support these last few weeks. Now for the hard part!

We do have very similar cycles. I go in for my suppression check on 10/6 and as of right now my estimated week for retrieval is also the week of 10/18. I hope that nothing interferes with this cycle.

nancy- dont worry other then having a couple of headaches I didnt feel anything from the lupron. So I'm glad things are going well for you! Thank you for thinking of me and I will make sure to post before 12 when I leave work as I dont really have much computer access at home and dont get on here over the weekends.

Crystal- I dont think lupron shrinks cysts but I'm sure its nothing to worry about or your RE wouldnt have let you start the process. I'm sure they will check it again when you have your u/s for your supression check.

Blang- Yay for 2 embies! Hey one is all it takes and you have double that so I'm very happy for you. Can't wait for you to be PUPO!
