Brandy - mine will call with updates daily but RE's are all different. I think you said too your RE only does 5-day transfers so maybe that's why they dont' call as much?

Ginger - I'm so sorry for your news today!! How completely disappointing! You're right though, your doc must have good reason for doing what he's doing. Don't want something like that to hurt your chances for the IVF to work. And we'll be here when you're able to start...that's why we like these "seasonal" cycle group threads - if you get delayed, we're all still here for you.

Lou - I am so hoping and praying you get good news and did not ovulate through the Lupron!! You must be so worried now, UGH!! I hope you have a good time at your reunion. My 20th was last year (doubled up to graduate a year early) but I'm one of those sticks in the mud - I couldn't stand my classmates then and I wouldn't care to see any of them now. Bad enough they find me on facebook LOL so I keep away from reunions at all costs.

Franny - I'm sorry - you and I must have been posting close together this a.m. and I didn't even see your post until just now. I'm so very sorry about the BFN, but I'm glad you've got Barry (and glad he's got you.) Lots of hugs!!!

AFM.....nothing really except I am having the longest AF that I've ever had. Today is 6 full days and I am on BCP. I've never had AF that long. I think that today may be the last though...hopefully.

Karin - too funny about keeping crazy in the bottle!!! Stalking pretty girls heh? I could totally see myself doing that. I have even thought of whom I would ask to be a sperm donor if our IVFs fail and we decided to do IUI with sperm donor!

Tess - huge congrats but I understand you being cautiously optimistic, I am too not going to celebrate until 4th or 5th beta... the last one was YEY BFP - oh wait - oh no crap - ectopic - Sh****! So I am nervous too! But I am so happy to hear and everything will be fine this time!

AFM - I have my boy's 2nd b-day party tomorrow! I can't believe people don't RSVP so I have no idea how much to get. Oh well.... The more I go through this whole IVF ordeal the more I fall in love with our son. He is such a miracle to me and I might become the mom that wondercat and Lauren hate my mom and aunt are visiting from out of country so I am hoping to keep peace in the house

Just a quick note as I am slammed at work and haven't had a chance to read but wanted to update you all. Looks like we are having twins! One is a little bit smaller then the other one, but the RE said nothing to worry about. I have another ultrasound on the 11th at 10:30 to check for fetal heartbeats and then I get released to my regular OB. My DH and I are very excited and I will post personals when I get a chance to catch up.

Just wanted to drop you a quick note. I was so hoping the change in RE's was the ticket and this cycle looked good. I will be checking back on you. I don't want to leave the site until all my ttc sister have their big ol BFP and get to hold their baby in their arms. God bless you Franny, you are such a strong woman and you are in my thoughts often.

I am praying you are not cancelled. Ditto to you for above statement about my ttc sisters. I am still hanging around, following a few cycles, then I am out of here! Leaving for vaca on Sunday ( you know the vaca that is kinda like my consolation prize............rather have the baby!) Thinking of you often!

txcpiforivf--sorry to hear about D/C but as others have said--trust your RE. Getting everything right now, even if causes delay, is worth it to get the BFP.

Lou--sorry about the cyst...I had a postponed cycle for same reason. When will you know about LH? Hope you are able to enjoy your reunion--man, you are a busy woman! I have my 25th next month and I am not sure how I am feeling...it is so stupid, but we all want to look good for them. This past year with all the medications, m/c, etc I have fallen off my exercise routine and put on about 10 lbs....I hate it! I want to be thin or pregnant before my reunion. I am not thinking that thin is an option at this point (lol) so I guess I will have to be preggos!!! It is possible if this cycle gets started soon.

AFM--This stupid wrist is driving me nuts. I can't stand being "slowed" for any reason and not being able to lift anything with my left hand is miserable. (Surgery on Wed to remove ganglion cyst). I tried to open a door with my fingers today and about fell on the floor in pain. Guess I need to take it easy...still just waiting for AF.

Hi All,
It's done! BFN!! I knew it was over because of all my PMS symptoms. I also swear I saw them both come out. I don't know where to go from here but I don't see the RE until the 20th. Hoping he'll give me a phone consult before that. If I actually looked or felt my age I can understand why this keeps failing, but I don't. I guess in the fertility world you are your age. Thanks for all your support. It means so much to me! I have to process all this. Best of luck to everyone!

oh Chili....I am so sorry... I hear you on the age thing...I don't feel or look anywhere near my age either....I am hoping things can still work for you....right now just process your grief and disappointment any way you want. I hope that you hear from your RE soon to consult and to figure out what your options are and plan to move forward.

We are all here for you and feel your pain. Take time to vent...or be alone...whatever works best for you. After my m/c I felt just completely despondent and just wanted to be alone. Take care of yourself.

Lou- Hang in there, my brave IVF sister! I'm praying your cycle doesn't get cancelled! And go have some fun at your reunion! It might be just what you need! Just be warned...you'll get to hear about everyone's kids...and you'll be asked a zillion times if you have kids. That's what I remember the most about my reunion! I can't tell you how many times I said, "We're working on it". hehehe. Sending you a bigggggg hug!

Chili --- Oh no, I"m so sorry my friend. BFN's just plain suck ass. There's no sugar coating it.

Rio -- Yep.... Cysts are bad, follies are good. Hard to believe they're the same thing, right?

Franny -- Great to hear from you, I was getting worried. I'm so sorry for your BFN. I really thought this was it. You had such a great cycle. My last cycle was great too and I had a BFN also. It's so hard to take when things go well and it's STILL a BFN. Like... I don't think I can do any better than that and now my best isn't good enough.

Margi -- I put on almost 10 lbs too. I went from looking really really good and fit to looking just average and feeling "soft".

Sonya -- Awesome to see you. Thanks for checking in. I'm praying for your meds to arrive! How awful to put you under this stress.

Blang -- After ER, I get a fert report the next day, then a call on day 3 to tell me if I'm coming in or going to day 5. My clinic transfers on day 3 if you have 4 or less doing well on day 3.

Karen -- Yay! I'm soooo excited for your next cycle! Glad the TAC is healing. I really should do more yoga...lol.

Ryan -- I'm praying really hard for your dad to do better. I lost my mom in 2002 so I understand what you're going through. I can't imagine doing IVF at the same time.

AFM -- I know I didn't get to everyone but I did this from memory and that's all I can remember right now. Ugh! I got good news and bad news from my RE. The good news is, I'm not cancelled! The bad news is.... my transfer is now moved up to 10/7. I'm soooo unprepared for that and DH is worried about taking off from work. He's a retail pharmacist and so there has to be someone to cover. My LH was 0.7 and my P4 was 1.0, so that was good. I do an HCG trigger tonight and start PIO 1.5 ml. Here we go!

Karen -- Thanks my friend. We were posting at the same time... but I'm not cancelled!!!! My transfer is moved up to 10/7 instead of 10/15! My beta will be Sat 10/16. I know I'll hear about everyones kids at the reunion and I'm not looking forward to that. In fact, I posted a couple of weeks ago that I was considering not going for that reason alone. I'm not going to use the "we're working on it" line with those people because I don't want them to think/know that we're having trouble. I'm just going to say that we just really enjoyed our life together the way it is but that I never say never.
