Katie - Oh my, the cervical pain! That is always a fun one. (heavy sarcasm) It is nothing more than a nerve or possibly Savannah kicking down there, depending on what exactly you felt. It's nothing to be alarmed about and likely isn't even a sign of labor going to come anytime soon. I have been feeling those little sharp pains sinc about 15 weeks off and on, time to time. Hopefully it leaves you be! As for Andrew, the drop and give me 20 won't work unless he is really in a good mood. I don't think he has really been in one of those since before the last tour to Iraq.

I have to yell at him like a kid a lot lately. He made a very bad joke yesterday to Alex and I about smacked his head off. It was racial in nature then I had to expalin to Alex why it wasn't funny at all. I don't know what to do with him lately! If he doesn't improve after the babies are born I am going to have to really put my foot down. We are both nervous as to how he will be. Thank goodness for the meds, but he missed his last psych appt and hasn't been back since.

What is a girl to do? How is Chris behaving with his time off? Still getting on your nerves? I bet he could be going stir crazy by now if you aren't giving him enough chores and bending over to do.

lol
Angela - After Andrew's command gets the letter, it does nothing really. All they want it for is because they are too lazy to come and see for themselves that I am here. I suppose they just want documentation to cover their asses to battalian for letting him off work so much the last 3+ weeks. They have to let him go while I am in the hospital though since Alex needs a parent at home. Andrew will get to stay home with me after the babies are born with no issues. He will automatically get 10 days convalescent leave and then take as many days as he wants of regular leave. He is thinking he will take a total of 30 days. That won't leave him much for the holidays though so it is something to think about. I'm sorry the drink and taking so much blood has made you feel icky. Hopefully the feeling goes away soon. Try lots of water and dry salty things. Maybe that will help your tummy??
Hazel - Oh my have you been a busy mum! You poor thing having to deal with all those little circumstances. First the heat then little George not being able to latch, then expressing milk manually and such. I couldn't imagine. I am just glad you are back home and George is doing well now and gaining weight. So he got a tongue tie from mum huh? I hear that is always a problem when breastfeeding. You did a great job as long as you could! The first few days is the most important milk anyway and he got that much.

I love your story about Andrew sipping tea in the corner while you are pushing. lol I would think that would be a good time to say a few words considering he is suppose to be coaching you. Funny you don't remember it, you must have been so exhausted spite the epidural. Waiting 12 hours for it though... wow! You were stronger than me my first time, I lasted 10 before I let them talk me into one. I think I have a funny story ("a" meaning singular) about each birth. My ex pissed me off one way or another with each one. First, he slept the whole time I was in pain. I felt the need to be loud during each contraction just to wake his ass up! lol Though all it did was make him wake up enough to say, "In.... out... in... out..." Since he was sleeping and NOT paying attention to me, he was saying in when I was breathing out and saying out when I was breathing in. This happened EVERY time! So I pitched a fit and swore and told him to shut the F up and so on. I also squeezed his hand so hard during a contraction, he dropped to the floor. Second time, he was watching soap operas and kept pushing me down when I wanted to sit up so I grabbed him by the neck, he finally let me up. Third, he was playing games on a game system. How many men about to have a baby think to hook up a game system while their wife is in labor? That's how attentive he was. Anyway, when it did come time to push, he actually yelled at me to stop. Like I had a choice in the matter? I was induced and my stomach was doing ALL the pushing. So of course he got a few words about that. lol Now... lets see what happens this time around.
AFM - We have a date to look forward to now. The day after my birthday, October 13th. Doc doesn't think I will make it that far, but then again I didn't think I would make it this far! lol So the same remains otherwise but at least I have a date... unless I bleed or go into labor on my own, it's the 13th! If I do make it to then, that means on some years their birthday will be Friday the 13th. lol The doc and I laughed at Andrew's unit for waiting three weeks to ask for proof that I am in the hospital. She said she would type up the letter and asked me if I want her to include my situation. Since it's none of their business really why I am in here since it's my personal health info. I told her sure, go ahead and tell them but make sure you make it sound nice and ghory. lol She laughed and said she would even use the word vagaina! I think she was kidding, but we will see once we get the letter.

I would laugh so hard if she mentions blood and vagina. LOL Oh and now the unit is doing housing checks. It isn't something that you have to let them do, but if you don't volunteer for them to check out your home then you get put on a list and you have to sign a waiver saying that if anything happens you are punishable to the fullest extent of the law. If you volunteer, you will have full support from the unit IF anything should happen. The reason they are doing this is because 1. their are single soldiers that don't know how to take care of their little 10x12 space in the barracks. 2. There are soldiers on and off post who are getting arrested for having dirty homes, starving pets, beating their wives, neglected children, etc. So now they have to make sure that your home looks safe, people in it appear safe, it's not a mess, no dead animals, etc. So that should be going on right now. ANdrew said they had to be there by 3 or he was going to leave when Alex gets off the bus. I guess we will find out how that goes later. lol Ok, done rambling... for now.

Much love to all you baby mamas!!
