We are nearly exactly the same. My last BCP was yesterday, Sunday. I go in Friday for my suppression check and if all is well I start stims on Saturday.

Nancy - that's so cool! I'm glad we'll be cycle buddies through this! :D

Lauren - Welcome back and we're glad to have you join us!! Not long now and we'll be cheering you on!

Krys - Sorry you had confusing results from the HPT! Could be too early, or fault test, or any number of things so down get too down. Your beta is coming right up so then you'll have an "official" answer.

ohhhh puppy love! So funny that so many girls here have puppies while trying to do IVF - no small task, our pup is turning 5 months today!

Tess - amamzing beta - congrats and good luck on your interview!
Krys - it could be early and I heard the lines disappear after a few mins or so...
klinger - yeay for no more BCP!
Ester - I love Roscoe's pics and you must post pics of him for Haloween!!! How is school? I think we will be cycling together I also have baseline at the end of OCt
Ryann - we also intorduced our pup to our 5 yo female and she is loving all the playtime!
Lauren - congrats on being PUPO and so funny to already know it will be a girl - go team pink!!!

Sorry if I missed anyone, I am going from memory and only have a few mins. AF is here again! Yep 6 days of Af, one day without and then here she is again! Nothing like 2 weeks of straight AF :( blahh! My baseline is scheduled for end of OCtober and meds right after that. I so hope it works this time I really don't know that we can afford another... PMA right!! Our son's bday party was great he had so much fun and I am so so blessed! Oh get this, my MIL grabbed the cake (which I pre paid) and I asked her to get a $7.50 dozen of extra cupcakes. Ends up we didn't eat any of the extra so she took the whole 12 cupcakes and half the cake home and ate it with her sister. The next day she asked my husband to reimburse her for the cupcakes!!!! Yep, not only could she NOT contribute cupcakes to her grandson's party but she ate them all at home and then charged us for it! And they are loaded! Are you serious?

Hello, The lupron injections are going well. They're obviously not my favorite part of the day, but there is really no pain involved. I've only had 4 injections so far, but as of right now I don't have any side effects. Wednesday is my scheduled suppression check, and hopefully I will get the okay to begin my stims on 10/9. I'm a bit uneasy because at my baseline US he found a small cyst. I hope that no news means good news and that my cycle will be continued. Say a little prayer that all goes well!

OK, my butt is officially getting kicked at work and now that I am having my transfer this week means I have to cram more work into the days I am here. Still debating if I'm taking Friday off as well as Thursday (transfer day).

Lauren319-- Yay for one perfect embie! I didn't understand that you said they weren't completely sure the others were normal because the sample was "contaminated"? How so? The two you froze, are those the same two that you aren't sure about? Ugh!

Ester and Ryann --- Really really cute puppies! I love Boxer's and have one as well. :D

Tess -- Looking forward to that rising beta result!

Lauren -- Welcome back!

Krys -- I would POAS tomorrow morning again and see what the result is. I would be afraid to put much stock into a "vanishing" line. Fingers crossed for you!

klinger -- Yay for starting stims soon! I'm now about a week and a half ahead of you since I got moved up!

Franny -- How are you and DH doing? Miss you.

That's all I have time for right now. Sorry!

AFM -- High school reunion was a BLAST last weekend. I only got the "how many kids do you have" question twice. I fielded it well! Last friday at my SnS, I found out I had an 18mm cyst despite being on Lupron. My bloodwork showed it didn't ovulate yet so RE had me do an HCG trigger on Friday night and I'm going for my transfer of two 5 day blasts on Thursday. Both blasts are 4BB quality, which I'm told is "very, very, good". So we shall see!!!! I'll be home on my butt on Friday so I'll update like crazy then.

Annie....Welcome!

Ryann.....Your pups are so darn cute! Congrats! :D They'll keep you busy while you wait!

Lauren.....Congrats on your PERFECT GIRL embie! :D That's awesome that you already know the gender! Take it easy and let her snuggle in. Get ready to buy some PINK!

Krys......Hey....no more lumpy butt! That's great! Don't question it....be grateful. Mine did get better just before beta too. Your body just gets used to it. It's probably too soon for a a good HPT result. Maybe try again tomorrow or just wait until your beta. You're so close. Hang in there! PMA!

Ester....Roscoe is so precious! :D I love him! He looks like my brother's boxer when she was a puppy.

Rio....Girl....your MIL is a piece of work! And to think that you have to deal with her on an evil witch of an AF. I know how you feel. I had the same thing. Mine finally went away after about 8 days. Hope yours is gone soon!

Nancy & Klinger....looks like your girls are in this together!

Sonya....Glad you got your meds! Enjoy the time with your friend! So much better than a lonely hotel room!

AFM....same ole...same ole.....waiting. We went to a beach BBQ yesterday. It was a lot of fun, but we were the ONLY people there without a child of our own. SUCKS! We're not completely odd because Hannah was with us...of course...but she was the oldest kid there and everyone knows she's not ours and most know that we're trying. Everyone had 2 or more kids under the age of 5. One couple had a boy and a set of girl twins. I wanted to ask them if they were IVF babies, but I didn't know them that well. Makes me hopeful...yet sad. I feel so behind. Hannah was holding our newest nephew of 6mo and he fell asleep on her chest. It was the cutest thing ever. She loves him and keeps asking when I'm going to have one. I have to keep saying....I'm trying....

Franny- I am so sorry for your BFN but hopefully your new RE will have an idea as to why and will have a better game plan for your next round. How is Barry doing? I've been praying that he is making a full and speedy recovery. You guys have been through so much in the last month I just keep hoping that your little miracle arrives soon to make it all worth it.

Lou- Did your RE say if the Lupron caused the cyst? My RE said that Lupron can cause them sometimes. I'm just so happy that you didnt get cancelled and Hooray! For having your FET sooner. Glad your reunion was fun!

Chili- So sorry for your BFN. I know that pain and I hope you know that I'm thinking of you. Hopefully you can talk to your RE sooner then later and get an idea of your next steps.

Lauren/Ester/Ryann- OMG your puppies are all so adorable it melts my heart seeing them! Ryann I'm still praying for your Dad too. I hope he is doing ok!

Sonya- I remember you from the March board I think. Glad you got your baby-in-a-box and get to start soon.

Tess- A Big Huge Congrats on your BFP. Your betas are wonderful! Good luck on your interview.

Blang- Hope your transfer went well today. Make sure to have your DH wait on you hand and foot so you can take it easy.

Lauren319- Congrats to you on being PUPO. So did they end up freezing your other embies? Did they say how or why the were "contaminated"? Cant wait to hear about the beautiful baby girl you have growning inside you!

TX- Sorry things got pushed back because of your D/C but hopefully it will give your embies a great place to snuggle in. Keep up your PMA!

Rio- UGH! 2 weeks of AF sounds awful. Hopefully she will be leaving soon and your up and coming cycle will go off without a hitch.

Klinger- I'm so excited that you get to start your stims soon and YAY for no more BCP!

Krys- Sorry dont know what to say about your stick other then try another one tomorrow morning. Hopefully it will be more definate.

Karin- A Beach Day BBQ sounds like so much fun! Dont worry you will be giving Hannah a new sibling soon. Dont lose hope!

Nancy- Glad you are all done with your BCP too and get to start stims this weekend. Its nice that you and Klinger are so close together!

Annie/Lauren- Welcome!

Crystal- Hope your suppresson check goes well and you can start stims soon

Sorry that's all I can remember for now so sorry to those I have missed!

There's so much going on here. CRAZY!

Margi - How's your wrist?? Still hurt?

Ryann - What happens now with your dad? I'm so sorry! I don't even know what to say and I can't imagine going through all of this at the same time as IVF. At least we only have a week left for your cycle to start! Also, I'm in love with Sox.

Karin - Ok, girl, you're DEEP into Crazytown. I mean, I totally get it, but can you imagine what you would sound like to people not going through this? HAHAHA. Awesome.

Sonya - Welcome back. Glad everything's on track after all that heartbreak. It'll work out this time!

Franny - Fuckkkkkk. I'm so sorry. You so deserved that BFP. What now? Have you definitively decided on using a donor?

Wondercat - My MIL is far worse than a fucking meatloaf. They only live an hour by plane away and she's now told DH that she'd come back from her week trip to Mexico to see him for a weekend instead of seeing him two weekends later. She's effing lost it. She wanted a Diet Coke once when we were all walking along a pathway to an aquarium and when we passed a store and no one remembered that she wanted one she LITERALLY stomped her feet and cried. She also uses that voice for everyone and has baby words for things. I don't get it. She needs help. For real.

Ginger - With a lining that thick, my guess is that they're thinking you have a polyp that needs to be removed before you start. It's actually a great thing that they're doing this because it means that they're making your uterus prime for holding a baby. I'm thinking of you, but I know that you'll be fine and that it really is all for the best.

Tess - WOOHOOOOOOOO! 2 more days til the second beta! I can't wait!

Teresa - YAY!!!!! I'm so excited for you!

Chili - I'm so sorry! I honestly thought your symptoms were from pregnancy. Ugh.

Lou - Awesome that you looked good and fit before IVF. I felt fat before and now I'm like disgusting, so there's that :) 3 days!! I'm so stoked for you. Maybe because ti was so sudden and unplanned this time it'll work! Don't stress!

Lauren1171 - OMG I heart Sandy.

Amanda - I would definitely get more opinions re: your meds. I'd ask an OBGYN for high risk. I wish I could be of more help, but I'm thinking of you and DH

Annie - Welcome! To answer your questions about stress: I clearly don't deal well, so I'm not the one you want advice from. I've learned that this forum helps though :)

Ester - Winston is so cute!! He's gonna be such a cute spiderman.

Brandy - Congrats on being PUPO!!!

Krys - Your beta is so soon! Stay calm! POAS will just mess with your head. I can't wait to hear of your BFP!

Sorry for those I've missed. I can barely keep up!!

AFM - I'm out of bed for the first time since Saturday! So the thing with the PGD is that when they send the single cell to be tested, they send it in liquid as a "contamination crosscheck". What this means is that even thou the other two embies came back "normal" there was some dna attached to the embryo, making the result "contaminated," so they're not 100% sure that the "normal" results are accurate :( I got a call yesterday saying that they were going to freeze one of them, but that the other one wasn't ready. I've received no call today, so I have no idea if the second one was frozen!!!

Also, my RE wasn't in, so his partner did my transfer and I adore him. The problem is that I can't switch because my father has known my RE for years and it would be somewhat of a dick move on my part. Ugh. Hopefully this will work and I won't have to think about it for a couple of years anyway.

Teresa- I think the cyst was just my normal cycle going in because the Lupron didn't suppress me. It's happened before with me. I'm just so glad I'm not canceled! One of these frosties has to be the one.

Lauren319- You're too funny! I'm sure you don't look "disgusting". I love how you reneged Ester's dog too.

I just got home from the gym and I'm starving. Making shrimp and tofu pad thai tonight. DH will be home from work in about an hour so I will wait. My dog is barking for food by her dish. She clearly must have forgotten that I already fed her dinner. Have a great night everyone. I'm looking forward to my PIO shot when DH gets home. Woo hoo!

I am cycling this Fall...actually right now!

Started Lupron 9/17 and Follistem on 10/1. Ultrasound tomorrow to check follicles, hoping for a weekend retrieval and a 10/14 transfer. We are doing egg donation and ICSI. This is the first egg donation so it will be a new experience for us.

We had a fresh IVF cycle Feb 2007, no luck. Then a FET in July 2007, positive pregnancy test but miscarried a few weeks later. We switched groups in March and are hoping this is the one!!

Anyone else going through right now?

Hey everyone, just wanted to give my transfer update. I think I posted on day 3 I had a 4 cell and an 8 cell. I was worried about that 4 cell not making it but tried to think positive all weekend. Today I got the call that I had one blast and she didn't have any update on the 4 cell so I figured it didn't make it. I drove 3 hours to the clinic feeling peaceful and thankful that I had one blast. Once we got in the room, the embryologist came in and said we had "two beautiful blast" that was one heck of a surprise! DH and I both teared up. I never expected that out of only 4 follies, I'd get three mature eggs, two would fertilize and both would become great looking blasts that didn't even need assisted hatching. I'm happy with how it all worked out. Actually the only thing that bummed me out was their camera wasn't working so I didn't get one of those cool pics of the embies.

Well now I just have to endure the 2ww but in the meantime, I'm going to milk this 48 hours of bedrest for all it's worth. LOL
Thanks for all of the support and for cheering me on. You are a fantastic group of women and we will all get our hearts desire sooner rather than later! :D

Amanda, congrats on finishing up the BCP, that feels like such a milestone doesn't it. LOL. You will be typing your transfer update before you know it. I know you will do wonderfully!!! :D

Blang......Hooray for TWO Embies! :D :D What a nice surprise! Relax and take it easy!

Lauren319.....Next Tuesday doesn't sound so bad! You can do it. Yep! I think you're right....I've visited Crazytown and sometimes I get lost! Which is why I'm glad you ladies are here to listen to my craziness. At least I feel like you girls get it....uh....you do get it....right? HAHA Seriously though.....you've got such a good chance for this one to work. Sending you lots of sticky vibes!

Lou....you're starting PIO already? Ouch! But....YAY! I think that the fact that this was all sudden is definitely in your favor. There's no time to think about it....just do it! :D

Hi All,
Sorry to be MIA but I needed to process everything. I know my eggs are old :( so I'm pretty sure at this point I'll never have my own child again. DH and I had the donor talk yesterday. He seems to be agreeable to that. He knows how bad I want this and knows we can't wait much longer. He talked to his best bud about the whole thing. I'm glad he finally talked to someone about it who isn't in the medical field. I think he needed to get everything off his chest to someone besides his neurotic, hormonal wife. Anyway, I found 2 donors that are suitable. Hopefully, they aren't cycling with anyone else. I talk to my RE in a phone consult tomorrow morning to get everything moving again. We have 2 more tries on our insurance so hopefully it works this time. Sorry about the lack of personals but I just need a little more time to get past this. I'll get back on track soon. Please know that all you ladies are always in my thoughts and I wish you all the best of luck.
Love hugs and baby dust to all,
Chili
