lt81-I'm sorry. You seem to be coping very well which is great. I was a wreck the first time, but I'm hoping that if it doesn't work out this time I can better handle it because I've already survived it twice so far.

Jersey-We did 3 the first round (the most my Dr. does). This time we had 3 but chose to only transfer 2 because one was starting to fragment and slow down in growth. I understand the risk of multiples, but this is our last shot at it and we are going to take what we can get.

AFM-I'm currently spending the weekend visiting family in West Virginia. My husband urged me to get out of town to keep my mind off of things. It's working for the most part. I'm almost a week down of the 2ww and so far it hasn't been to bad. I'm hoping it continues to go by quickly and mostly stress free!

Hi Ladies,

so it's an official BFN! :-( I got the dreaded call today. My RE is supposed to give me a call for further instructions.
We have 2 more frosties from when I was 39, so we'll see...
I take solice from the fact that no matter what, I still have my beautiful almost 11 month old baby boy who's the joy of our lives. We just wanted him to have a sibling, a playbody, a friend.
Anyhow, good luck to the rest of you.

Nancy-I'm so sorry. That really sucks. My husband and I always wanted 3 children, but with everything we have gone through, we will be happy with 1. I understand you wanting to give your little boy a sibling, and I don't know your money situation, but we've decided that we could do so much more with just 1 baby. Either way, I'm sorry that it didn't work out for you.

Jersey-thinking sticky thoughts! Good luck! I've got less than 1 week until we find out now. The first week was easy, but it's starting to get a lot harder. I'm thinking about it a lot more, still trying not to stress out, but I just want to know. I want to get it over with so that I know what to do (I'm a planner and not knowing kills me!). I will be thinking & praying for you!

Congrats Jerseytouchdown. A grade A blast sounds brilliant. Sticky thoughts on their way to you!

We called the clinic to ask for an appointment in November to discuss trying again and having explained to the receptionist we would be paying private for the next cycle she suddenly transformed from a dragon I have had to deal with for over 1 year to someone who could not have been more helpful or accommodating! Suddenly I have choices of dates and times to suit me rather than just taking what I was given with no choice (in fact not just a choice of dates but was asked how quickly I wanted to come in!)

I'm starting to freak out. I still have until Monday until we find out if it worked. I've gotten a pimple (which I always do before I start my period) and I've started cramping, in the mornings. I'm also getting mood swings that I haven't had since the shots stopped. The first round I started cramping & spotting the night before my blood test. I haven't started spotting yet, but I'm nervous that that's next. It's so hard to stay positive. After having two "No's" and knowing this is it, it's hard to be hopeful. I just don't know what to do.

Hang in there Diedra!

They(whoever they are) say that you don't always spot during implantation and even some who do get light periods may still be pregnant... The fact that you got pimple could also be due to pregnancy hormone changes So I guess you just don't know until you know. Stay strong and be positive. A wise friend said to me that worrying is like paying interest on a debt you do not yet owe...try not to worry about it until you know you have something to worry about.

This being said from the woman who keeps checking her boobs to see if they have started changing yet and who can't stop googling early pregnancy signs to see if there could be anything New that I might be experiencing that could give me a hint. I feel totally normal and it's freaking me out although tonight I craved steak which doesn't happen too often so maybe it's a sign... I have over a week still I will loose it by next week I need to get my Mind off of it but its all I can think about and when I do find my mind drifts then I look at the clock and find that it's usually time to take another suppository of progesterone which just brings it all back up again and the cycle continues.

Hang in there...
Ps I'm to go in next Thursday however I now have a business trip I can't get out of and I won't be back until friday...so I have an extra day of waiting torture ahead...

Diedra as already said by other ladies, hang in there. We all completely understand what you are going through. I equally had AF two days before Beta during our first try in May. I had the same fears this time around. I had same symptoms like I had during our first try. I was so sure that it will be a BFN once more. I worried my head off every single day ..but guess what, I got my BFP on Thursday. What I am trying to say is hang in there....worrying will not bring you any further and I wish you all the very best and you will be in my thoughts and prayers

Congrats dinagin!

Well ladies, after my slight cramping on Wednesday, I had nothing on Thursday. Today I woke up with more slight cramping. As much as I told myself I wouldn't, and I didn't the first time we did in-vitro, I took a pregnancy test this morning. For the first time in my life it was positive. I know that it could be wrong, or that it could be eptopic, so I'm not too excited, but I am a little bit. We aren't telling anybody yet because we want it to be confirmed. I still have to wait until Monday for my blood test, but I think the rest of this weekend will go smoother now that I can think about it less. We will see how it goes.

Thanks Jersey! The only reason I did the home test was because I happened to have one at home. I wouldn't have gone out & bought one. I'm trying to continue to think positive thoughts that everything is going to work out, but sometimes that's hard to do. After trying for so long and having "no" after "no" when it comes to being pregnant, I can't help but sometimes think that it's too good to be true. I will be thinking of you on Friday! Hopefully we both have great news this week!

Hi Ladies,
We transferred 2 6 day blasts, having some cramping so I'm kind of worried. Wishing you all the best.

Gina,
I've had cramping, but it's been mild. It's normal from what I've been told!

Well, results are in, it's an official POSITIVE :D ! My levels are 781 which seems high to me, but I'm ok with that! The Dr's office is skipping the second blood test because of my numbers. We are scheduled for an ultrasound on 10/28 to see how many! I couldn't be more excited!
