Ghost Help Please!!!

Hi,

This is a question for ghost and all to answer for me if possible??

This is my second attempt of IVF and using 1 frozen embryo. I had an ET on Monday 4th October, when I was having the procedure the doc said I have a Polop on my uterus, so im on my 2ww and woke up this morning being Wednesday 6th October 2010 and was very lightly bleeding this only showed when wiping myself but however since this morning ive been again and was clear of blood so i could be spotting. My tummy still feels delicate as they had problems finding my uterus when ET was taking place,then discovered that I had such a full bladder they couldnt see it clearly. So once I relieved myself they found my uterous straight away and done the inplant. I was poked about and is thinking that the reason im still feeling discomfort is because of that?? I am taking the progestrone and using patches to thicken my lining.
The first time I had bleeding on the first IVF cycle 3 days after procedure and started light bleeding then got worse as the days went on and the end result was a Negative, but so far as I know its still early days and still its ok.

Is it common to bleed with polops?
If so why and what causes it?
Could it lower my chances of getting a positive result?
And is it all conected?
Should I be getting slight pains in my lower uterus area?

I know so many questions but although ive been through it before im still clueless about the whole thing. I just hope you can help me as I cant afford to get stressed out,

Hey Lisa,

I'm definitely no expert on this as I've only done the one ET (FET cycle after cancelling the ET after the fresh IVF cycle due to severe OHSS) but I also experienced some slight bleeding during the 2ww and some reasonably bad cramping. I was told that the progesterone increases the blood flow to the uterus/cervix/vagina and this can make you susceptible to bleeding particularly if you are using pessaries.

Good news was that I ended up with a BFP and am now just short of 11 weeks pregnant.

I had my first transfer Tuesday (fet) the Dr had trouble with my uterus too, it took them alittle bit and there was alot of poking before it all happened... My Dr said I could have some light bleeding , so I am sure it is all normal... Unfortunately I dont know for sure since I am really new, but you can always call your Dr if your nervous... DOnt get stressed everything will be ok, I know its easier said but wanted to make you feel alittle more at ease... there is great suport here and alot of women that have great knowledge on this whole journey... I also had OOHS so i was put on hold since Aug, but I finally got my transfer Tuesday... Did you transfer one or two eggs?? I did two ( they were only 2cell though)... Your story gives me hope... Best of luck

I don't know. They come in many forms. Some can affect implantation and some don't. Your RE will know which kind you have and will probably adjust your treatment if necessary. Be sure to tell your doctor about the bleeding and about your concerns.

Well Hi Girls,

Thanks for the response, Ive only got a few days left and since the last time ive had no other bleeding which im so excited about. Last week went quick for me as my mum was coming over everyday and cooking, cleaning, hoovering lol my BF was on nights so was sleeping through the day. Now he is off and its his turn to take over but it is hard when your used to doing stuff and you cant!!! We have had a few nice days of weather and not ben out once which has been gutting
I hope all this madness has been worth it as if not I think ill be devestated and will take a long time getting over it, just hoping as its different this time round it will work, I know you got to be positive which I am more this time and only a slight bit of doubt. I do keep getting cramps and my tummy itches has anyone had that if so whats it mean? It drives me nuts sometimes then just stops !! My mum says thats a good thing as she had that when she was carrying me.

KIZ - Im so happy for you well done let me know how your getting on, and did you have any of the things ive been having while you was on your 2ww if not what things happened to you? Good luck speak to you soon.xxxx

KYNLEE - You are at the same stage as me how you been feeling? Any of what im feeling? Its all very confussing as you cant control whats going on and the not knowing is so scary. I have read on other blogs that you have your result on the 18th Oct ? Mine is before you so ill keep you posted. We are doing this process which with luck and whats ment to be so I cross my fingers and toes that our miricale will happen . Keep me posted. xxxxxxx

GHOST - Thanks for the advice as you read there has been no more bleeding and my polup is on the entrance to my womb thats why I bleed last time and think the stress of it I had a M/S. Thanks again. xxxxx

So the next time I write ill either be Happy with a BFP or really cut up and Unhappy with a BFN wish me luck girls for a few days time. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
