Wow....you are an active group of ladies!

Krys...I'm so excited for your beta!! I will send lots of doubling vibes your way all weekend!

Sonya...What a great follie count! I bet you're sore! I had about the same during my stims and I couldn't even button my pants!!!

Lou...YAY!!! I'm soe xcited your blasts did so well! 10/16 will be here before you know it and I am praying for a huuuuuuge BFP for you!

Teresa....I'm saying lots of prayers for you and the twins. I'm sorry you have to go through such a scare, but hopefully you will get the good news you are waiting for and they are both perfect!

Annie...I hope your ovaries respond to being yelled at! My RE does the suppositories. She has never even mentioned the PIO to me. I hear you on all the abbreviations, but I picked it all up pretty quick! Now I have to catch myself when I'm talking to someone else about IVF that I don't go straight into my abbreviations, because not everyone knows who DH is and what a BFP is!!!

Wondercat...Seriously? I couldn't even believe your post. What exactly does he have to "think" about that he can't think about with his wife? Sometimes men are so frustrating! And you MIL sounds like a real piece of work! I am so sorry you are going through this. Hug your beautiful little boy and I will say a prayer for things to settle.

Osi...I had to go in every day for 9 days straight, so to me it's normal. Maybe some of the other ladies can chime in?

Nancy...I didn't get AF after stopping BCP and the nurse didn't seem worried at all.

Klinger...I can't believe you get to start tomorrow! How exciting! I'll keep everything crossed that everything is a go tomorrow!

Margi...I'm sorry you are still in so much pain! I will start dancing for AF's arrival for you!

Crystal...Sorry you ovulated right through and now you're pushed back. I don't ovulate at all, so I'm hoping I don't have to worry about that! 10/16 isn't too far away!

macfamily...I'm sorry you had so much paiN! Did they say OHSS? Are your going forward with ET?

Tess...what a great second beta!!! I can't wait to hear how the us goes!

Lauren319....WONDERFUL speech. You always know how to lighten the mood in here! How is your baby girl doing? When oh when are you POAS. The wait is killing me! As for my dad, we have no clue what happens now. He came home then went back in on Tuesday, so he is so up and down right now. They re-set his pacemaker so it wouldn't allow his pulse to drop so low, but we shall see. Right now his heart is going through the pumping cycle without taking a break, so a lot of blood is just flowing and flowing and flowing. He is at high risk for a stroke right now. Cycle starts Monday though...so hopefully that will pull him through!

Rio...Dad ended up in the hospital AGAIN in atrial flutter, which I guess is bad. No idea what's going to happen. Stress, stress, stress. The pup comes home saturday and I am beginning to think I am absolutely insane. Yikes! I hope the bill didn't send you into too much shock!

Kaylie...Welcome! I was soooooo tired on Follistim. I napped every day and didn't have the energy to do a darn thing. Luckily I was still on summer break so I could just lay around all day. I wish I had advice, but all I can say is that you will get through it!

Chili...I'm glad you and DH were able to have the donor talk. And remember, even if it's a donor egg, it's still your own child. Big hugs!

BLang...congrats on being Pupo!

Coop and Lauren...welcome!

To eveyrone else I missed, know that I am thinking of you all!

AFM... I have an upper respiratory infection that is bringing me way down. I have an appt Monday with RE and hopefully starting Lupron. I had my TSH tested this morning because I see my endo Monday too. They called and said all looks good and asked if I was pregnant. Not sure why they would be asking, but I said no, but I'm working on it. Interesting question to ask I thought. Sox comes home saturday and I am freaking out. I think I'm crazy for bringing #2 in right now, with being sick, my dad and IVF, but hey...what's a little more craziness,r ight?! I may be a little MIA as I adjust to being a mommy of 2 furbabies, but I'll do my best!

Amanda (klinger) - how did it go?? starting tomorrow??

Wondercat - STFU about your MIL. I don't know whether to laugh or cry or what. You win. As for your AH (thanks to rio) - WTF?? What happened? Did he just have a nervous breakdown? If IVF is on hold, can you at least take some pain pills? Oh man, I'm sorry. I say, steal the sperm (secretly), leave and then you wont have to deal with DH or MIL. I will join rio in the beatdown. Rio, you hold him and I'll kick the shit out of him (not int he balls though - we may need those).

Annie - I haven't done the shots either time, but he does have me now on Prometrium pills as well. Last time it was a BFN, this time, we find out next week, so I don't know...

Teresa - Oh! I've been thinking about you! How are you feeling? I've been ok. Just one little lady in me (well, hopefully in me still). I don't know how I feel. It's so hard to tell the difference between the drugs and the real thing. I hate it.

Lou - YAY for two embabies!!! How are you feeling? PUPO!!!

Osi - sounds like you're doing well!

Rio - SO CRAZY. I'm gonna go to the store and POAS day and night. No, I don't know. I've been kinda freaking out all day. WTF am I gonna do if it's negative?? Is the waiting killing you?

Krys - YAYAYAYAY! That's awesome!! Congrats on your BFP!!!

Ryann - I totally said BFP the other day to someone and they looked at me like I had lost it. I mean, I had, but they don't need to know that. So, dad's still at the hospital being monitored since Tuesday or back home again? I'm so sorry you have to go through all of this. Are you taking anything for your infection? I hope it doesn't hinder anything, but I don't think it'll be a big deal. How weird that they asked if you were preggers. I can't wait for more pics of Sox! He'll bring good PMA if anything!!

Karin - I'm SO HAPPY AND EXCITED for you!! YAY! Such good news!! NEXT WEEK!! It's finally happening!!

AFM - Nada. Waiting. Going crazy. I'm not feelin' it, guys. I mean, I'm tired and disgusting, but progesterone does that to me, so...
32, fragile x carrier
DH - 32, 4% morph
#1 - 8/10 - IVF w ICSI & PGD - BFN
#2 - 9/10 - Chem

#4- 10/11 - Batched

Hi everybody

Wow! Lots of exciting stuff going on here.

Krys - congrats on your beta. Lots of doubling vibes heading your way. Good luck for Saturday :)

Lauren319 - it's torture isn't it? Tempted to POAS over the weekend? Sorry, I can't see the list. Is your bloodtest on Tuesday? If so, Sunday would be a good day :) Not trying to tempt you or anything :x

Wondercat - WTF!!! You MIL is certainly a case - thank goodness for meds. I really hope you AH has apologized and groveled profusely and that his name can be restored to DH. If not, we'll further degress his name to BAH (bloody awful).

Annie - I've been on suppositories for my first fresh cycle and FET transfer. My progesterone levels were fine throughout. I can now reduce down to one three times a day and then stop at the weekend. My levels are measured at the same time as my betas so hopefully no more for me. They're a bit messy but nothing that a panty liner can't solve.

Teresa - What a big scare. I would absolutely freak out. You are amazingly strong. I hope you get confirmation real soon that evereything is just fine.

Lou - how are you doing? So glad to hear your two frosties survived the thaw. It's pretty nerve wrecking when you're all set for your transfer and just hoping that the embies make it through the big thaw - nukes in the microwave on low for a minute. Can't wait for your bloodtest. Will you resist POAS?

Ryann - you will have plenty to distract you during your cycle which is a good thing. :)

Karin - yay for next week. Am looking forward to following your progress. :)

Blang - are you hanging in there?

Klinger - all the very best for tomorrow. I've got my fingers crossed that it's all going to honkey dory and will go head.

DandMe - you're brimming with follies. Good on you. You must feel like you Ovaries are going to burst through you skin at any time. A bit like the Alien movie but nicer!! All the best for your ER. Thinking back to my ER, I really liked the drugs. Made me feel pretty damn good, if not a bit forgetful. What are other people's experiences with drugs and ER?

Rio - you have the patience of a saint. Good things come to those who wait.

AFM - still not feeling preggas. I don't think I'll really believe it until I see a heartbeat or heartbeats and am growing belly. I can't stop staring at preggie ladies though. Anyway, time for dinner.

Thinking of you all...

Amanda - nearly time for you to be PUPO.

Good morning ladies!

Krys - YAY for a BFP!!! Woo-hoo!!! Can't wait to hear some great doubling on Saturday's beta!

Karin - Awesome, awesome, awesome news!!! I am soooo glad DH test came back negative and you get to start back up. Thank goodness!!

Ryann - I'm so sorry you're feeling crappy with your respiratory infection! I'm glad you'll have Sox to lift your spirits (though as I think back to those first few weeks with pup, I was pretty exhausted LOL.) You've had so much going on with the IVF and your Dad and now being sick - just take really good care of yourself and YAY for starting back up on Monday!!

Nancy - My cycle buddy - how did your SnS go? I put the details of mine down in the AFM section, but just so you know - I spoke too soon yesterday. AF graced me with her presence this morning. :)

macfamily - Any update on your ET or your pain situation??

AFM, unless something comes back in my blood work (which I'd know this afternoon) I start my stims tonight!! U/s looked good & my AFC today was 7! I am so THRILLED with that number, given my one ovary situation. Now we're going to stim that ovary like crazy. I'll be doing Bravelle (375iu) and Menopur (150iu) each evening, at least until my next SnS on Tuesday morning. OMG ladies, I am just so excited to get this started tonight!

Hey everyone,
So the docs are saying mild OHSS- if that was mild, man do I feel for the other women who had severe!!! All is good for transfer today. Yesterday all 8 were still good, two of them scored a 1 and the other six scored a 2. Plan is to transfer the two best and let the others go till Sun/Mon to freeze the ones that can make it. I still am super bloated and uncomfy, but am happy to see the end in sight. Now to get over constipation....

macfamily - Congrats on your ET today!! Sorry you're still bloaty and uncomfortable but I've heard others say drink gatorade and eat salty foods.

AFM, got a call from the RE and the blood work came back fine. I'm good to start tonight (phew!) but they want me to do 6 vials of Bravelle each night now instead of 5. So 450iu of Bravelle and 150 iu of Menopur...goodness gracious my ovary is really in for some serious stimming!

Posting real quick as attorneys are ringing my phone like crazy wanting transcripts.

My suppression check went well. If my blood work comes back what they want then I'll start stims tomorrow. Can't remember how many units right now. I'll have to look at my paperwork again.

Trial transfer didn't hurt. I was worried about that. She did say that they'll probably put a stitch in when they do my ER because my uterus is rather tilted.

My BP was rather high when I went in but I think it was nerves, driving in the traffic etc.... I have a cuff here at home so I need to go check it now to be certain all is okay.

Post more later. Gotta get back to the transcripts.

Amanda, GREAT news on your appointment.

Klinger- Congrats for getting to start stims. Pincushion here you come!

Karin- I am so glad your DH came back neg. as a carrier. I'm so happy you finally get to start!

Macfamily- Good luck to you with your transfer and I hope you feel better from your OHSS. I agree with Klinger I was told my first cycle to drink lots of electrolytes (gatoraide smartwater) and eat salty things to help with OHSS.

nancy- Glad you get to start your stims tomorrow also. Keep an eye on that BP my RE had me go on meds this cycle because it was too high for him to feel comfortable with me continuing my cycle.

Ryann- hope you feel better soon and enjoy your time this weekend with Sox! By the way I think your dogs are beautiful I've never seen black and white boxers before! 8)

Sonya- Sounds like you are an egg making machine! Congrats!

Tess- dont worry about not feeling anything. Other then mild cramping from my SCH I dont feel much different either. Just sore boobs and soooooo tired. I agree with you that I cant wait to see heartbeats and be huge so that I know I'm really prego and can enjoy it. I told my mother yesterday that I kind of wish I was sick as a dog with morning sickness because at least I would know everything is ok.

Lauren319- Dont worry you will find out soon enough that your daughter is growing strong in there. Are you going to POAS???

Margi- How is your hand? I hope its getting better! Have you talked to the dr about it? Maybe the amount of pain you have isnt normal and they can give you something for it.

AFM- Well i thought things were getting better. The bleeding stopped Wed. afternoon and was gone all day yesterday but i woke up this morning with more bleeding/spotting. I just wish Monday would get here already so I can get another peak at what's going on and know that everything is ok. Thank you all for being so supportive of me Iitmeans a lot to have someone other then my DH to talk to. I didnt have the heart to tell him this morning that the bleeding had started back up again. My RE said it could come and go so I figured why cause him to worry more when I dont know what's going on for sure. I hope everyone has a nice long weekend for those that are off for the holiday.

Wondercat- I just read your post and now that I have closed my mouth from my jaw dropping I hope your husband comes to his senses. Did he forget what his marriage vows meant or should we send him a copy so he can review them? I hope everything gets better for you.

Lou- I am so excited for you :)!!!!!!!

Krys- Congrats!! Saturday needs to hurry up & get here so we can have some more great news.

Lauren319- So have you POAS yet? I am so guilty of not waiting and my nurse doesn't help bc both times she ask if I cheated and my response is hell yeah I cheated. She gets all excited and tells me she hopes I would and what were the results, but I am glad she gets all excited with me even though we haven't had a great outcome yet.

Teresa- What a scare!! I hope all is well with you and the little twins :)

Karin- Yay for getting the go ahead!

klinger13-Your ovaries will be in shock..LOL I hope they stim until they can't stim anymore :)

Franny- I hope Berry is recovering fast & comfortably.

AFM; DH went to the neuro doc and he seems to think this was not a one time event :( He stated if all the test come back normal DH still has a 50% of having another seizure and if the MRI or EEG comes back abnormal then it goes up to 75% chance. He has both test next week. I am so glad we decided to wait until January for the next cycle :) I know you shouldn't wish your life away, but man I wish it was January already.

Hey lou,

Congrats on been PUPO!!! Now rest those feet and let those little ones snuggle in tight!! I really hope your pma is back, i want to echo what Katie said you really can do it, i felt there was No way i could get pg for a 3rd time in a row and amazingly i did. We were given a 15% chance of concieving this time, then after a bfp over 45% chance of miscarriage....we so far (Please God) have defied the odds. I do know when you do hear stories like this you think to yourself but it wont happen to me, i thought the same but miracles happen all the time. Stay away from Crazy town...yeah i know pot kettle and black come to mind as i was the worlds worst!!!! I have all my fingers and toes crossed for you, maybe you could do what i did and pray to your little angel baby to help you, i still do it every day

Got my bloodwork results and I'm suppressed so I start stims tomorrow. My next appt is on Wed. I need to watch injection videos for a reminder on mixing the Bravelle etc...

Only 100 more pages and transcripts will be done. I work in court all day Monday but it's a non-jury day so hopefully nothing will be ordered.

Crystal -- Lupron is an agonist/antagonist. So it causes a flare response before suppression. I have developed a cyst and nearly ovulated 3 times on Lupron. It just doesn't work for me. As your doctor about an antagonist cycle. No Lupron involved! Worked great for me.

Anniegirl -- The progesterone injections aren't fun... not gonna lie. But they're not THAT bad either. As long as you have someone to give them to you. I ice the area first for a few mins and it helps a lot. My rump is always a bit sore and bruised though.

Rio -- I transferred two 5 day blasts :D .

klinger -- Thanks! I have to admit being lazy is nice but also quite boring for me. I'm typically always "on the go".

Sonya -- I totally agree! Let's get these BFP's already!

Claudia -- Thank you sweetie! Your due date is coming closer! I remember it because you are due on my b-day.

Krys -- Congrats! GL on your second beta tomorrow!

margi -- I sure hope so! I'm doing my very best. I hope these are strong little frosties.

Ryann -- So far so good. Both are in there hopefully snuggling in. I told RE I wasn't going to accept less than twins after all this! Of course I was kidding and he laughed. I hope your infection gets better in a hurry! Are you on antibiotics? Can't wait for Sox updates also!

karin -- 10/16 is a big day for both of us! Your Lupron start day and my beta day. <fingers crossed>

Lauren319 -- I feel just like you actually. Tired and disgusting...lol. When did I get this fat?

Tess -- I do not plan to POAS. I just plain don't believe in it. I'll wait for my beta call. What about you? I don't remember. Did you POAS?

macfamily -- So are you doing a 3 day transfer? Sounds like you are likely to get a few frosties for a sibling someday as well. Awesome! Congrats on being PUPO! I could use the company.

nancy -- Hooray for starting stims! Your job sounds like it has you jumping! Are you going to be able to get away without any issues for ER/ET and the rest afterwards?

Teresa -- Is your u/s on Monday? You are in my thoughts and I'm praying you get awesome news. I really believe you will.

Amanda1979 -- I'm so sorry for what you are going through with DH. I went through something similar when DH and I were first married. He had a few small seizures (partial complex NOT grand mal) and I took him to a neurologist. After EEG, MRI, etc... he was diagnosed with a brain tumor in the right temporal lobe. He had surgery a couple of weeks later. The tumor was benign and he made a full recovery in about 6 weeks. But it was sooo scary. I hope your DH's condition is manageable and he can keep the seizures away.

Katie -- If you're out there reading this.... I want to thank you for your continual support and words of wisdom and encouragement. I'm still just so happy for your happy ending!

Gi -- Hi sweetie! Thanks for stopping by to crash on me again. I love it. I'm doing my best to keep hopeful that this FET can work. My RE was quite positive, so I guess that's good. I had asked him about my next cycle and he said we'll talk about when it's time. Then he said "I know you were already expecting to do another cycle but this one has a good chance of working, around 50/50, so don't count it out." I'm just afraid to be too positive and be let down again like my August cycle did to me. I'm still not over it. If I remember, your ticker was only two days ahead of mine. You are getting so so close to bringing home that baby! I'm so happy for you!

Sorry to those I missed this time. It's a b*tch to keep up around here! I love it!

AFM -- Feeling very normal after transferring two blasts yesterday. No cramping or anything I mean. My RE started having you watch on a screen as the embryologist puts the embryos into the catheter and you sign that you witnessed it. Pretty cool. Your name is on the bottom of the dish so you can see they're yours. When the nurse had me sign, I said "well, I really think they looked more like my husband but I'll go ahead and sign anyway." RE also scared me by coming in and saying that he needed to talk to me first before the procedure. I hadn't heard my embies had made it so I was worried one or both hadn't. He then asked me if I was OK with another doctor who may join their practice coming in to observe. I was like "bring in anyone you want just tell me how my embies look today". He then went to get the report that they did well. I never heard that just being 50% intact was good. I assumed you'd want 80-100%, but I guess that's rare. I dunno. Mine were 75 and 80% intact. Anyone have any info on this for FET's? Maybe I'll ask Ghost. I just don't want to be too hopeful. In my eye's, the embies are 20-25% less good than they were before freezing. Maybe they can catch back up.

Hi all

Lou - I did POAS - Two days before my beta. I wanted some indication of which way it was likely to go so I wasn't hanging around all day on beta day. Can totally understand you not wanting to though. I'd like to be that strong. Try not to get too worried about the % quality of your frosties. I didn't even get a grade for mine. Fresh embies can also start to deteriorate prior to ET. Your frosties sounded great. I'm hoping for FET twinnies for both you and me!

Amanda1979 - will be thinking of you and Your DH next week. I really hope that everything will be fine. Roll on January.

Nancy - exciting stuff. Stim away!

Teresa - thanks for letting me know that your not feeling that preggas either. I haven't even really got the sore booby thing going on yet. Last time, I couldn't wait to release my sore, tender boobies from their bra at the end of the day! It's still early days though - almost five weeks.

Macfamily - I had very mild OHSS just prior to my ER last time. It's a damn horrible feeling but luckily it went away after ET. Look after yourself.

Klinger - yay for you. Can't wait to follow your progress.

Lauren319, Lou and Blang - beta time next week. I think I'm almost as excited as you ladies will be.

Teresa and Tess,

I have several friends that have no pregnancy symptoms until the 6 week mark and the BAM they have morning sickness (really all day sickness) for the entire first trimester. The rest of the pregnancy they are fine. I know that's not the case for everyone but like I said, I have several friends that are totally fine until they are 6 weeks along.

Of course, I have another friend that's never sick at all. I'd love to be like that but honestly I would even take being sick the whole 9 months if it meant a baby for us.

Nancy
Me 39 "normal"
Dh 49 problem with tubes so no sperm "gets out" (basically like a vasectomy)

currently in 1st IVF -- BCP until 10/3, currently on Lupron. Suppression check 10/8. Start stims 10/9.
