Hello everyone. I haven't posted in a while so I thought I would go ahead and say hello. I have been so busy lately!

Just had my ER this morning and we got 7 eggs. I have some pressing questions for those who have been through extreme pain after the ER. I have horrible back pain and when I stand up, I feel lightheaded and see black (almost like I'm going to pass out.) I am hurting sooooooo bad and I hope this goes away by the morning. Can anyone help? I don't have much spotting but I am in such pain. Any advice to calm me down would help. The Vicodin isn't working all that well for the pain.

Thanks so much for any responses! :D
estimated ER is 10/12

FrecklesDC- my last ER was painful like yours. The vicodin didn't do much but make me sick at my stomach. I took 3 extra strength tylenol. That was the best pain relief. Tomorrow you should feel much better. You'll be sore but not "in pain" like you feel today. Drink alot of water and rest!

Lauren319- CONGRATS! YOU ARE PREGNANT! WOOT WOOT!!!! I know we don't really know eachother. I cycled last fall and was preggers for a while...and some of the ladies in this group were former cycle buddies. But know I'm really excited for you. I look forward to joining you in the pregnant after treatment section! :D :D

Karen - Thanks! Looks like you're doing ICSI with PGD too. Can't wait for you to join me!

Rio - Was it you that asked me why I would still do a CVS? If so, it's because I'm not using PGD to make sure the embryos are strong or for Down's. I'm a premutation carrier of fragile x and because the PGD results are only around 90% accurate, they suggest I do a CVS. I know an amnio is less invasive, but I'd really rather just get it over with seeing as how it'll hang over me when I'm telling people, etc... I am, however, going to check with my doc.

Lauren319......Congratulations Mama! I am so excited for you that I feel like it's happening to me. It must feel so good to say..."I'm pregnant!" Are you going to tell everyone right away or wait a few weeks? Love the ticker...BTW. :D

Krys......Congrats to you too Mama! So happy for you! :D

Teresa......So sorry to hear about the loss of one....but so HAPPY about the continued good health of the beautiful one growing inside. Can you believe that you are graduating to a normal OB? Awesome.

Meinemo.....Wow....those are good sized follies. Good luck on ER!

Kynlee......Do you plan to POAS? Or be strong like Lou?

Lou.....I'm hoping that all of your odd symptoms are pregnancy related! You are such a trooper to hold out until beta.

Ryann......Cute puppies! I'm dog sitting for a 5lb yorkie named Skippy for 8 days. He's such a cute, sweet little guy and Jack loves him, but that little booger barks at everything. He's also been known to pee in my house. I have to take him outside to potty every 2hrs because I'm afraid. So....now when I think about getting another.....maybe not...at least not until we get a yard. He also wakes me up a few times in the middle of the night licking my face or hand because he misses his mom. Good luck! At least you have something to keep you busy during this IVF craziness.

Ester.....always good to have a plan! Love your positive attitude! :)

Blang......There's lots of ladies that have neg HPT and pos BETA's. I'm praying you're one of them. (((HUGS)))

Freckles.....I hope that you called your RE and you're feeling better soon. SEVEN is great!

Franny & Chili....thinking of you!

AFM.....Nothing new except the agency emailed me yesterday to give me a heads up. My ED wants to try to change our ER day because one of her professor's is giving a big exam that day. I haven't heard from the RE office. I decided not to call and ask. If they change it, they'll call me. I'm hoping that my RE said to suck it up and let's get this over with. I don't think that he will change it. It's an estimated date anyway. You never know how you will respond to meds. I'm sure that my RE would give her a note saying she had surgery and she could buy time and take the exam later. Sorry to sound unsympathetic. I'm so ready to get started again. I have an appointment for u/s on Thursday am. Then I will be going to Vegas in the afternoon to meet DH. We're going to dinner and to Blue Man Group. Then on Friday am, I will be at the Spa and he will be golfing. DH is speaking at a conference and I decided to go meet him and do something fun before I start lupron on Saturday. I will be home by Friday evening. It's a short trip, but I'll take it. We've got a kid and 2 dogs to get home to....and another open house on Sunday.

Seeing all of these BFP's is really giving me hope that it can happen for all of us. Keep it coming!

*Lots of love*
~Karin~

Hi all. Good luck to all of you. I am new to this board, and it's my first IVF cycle in November as well. Daily bloodwork & ultrasounds being 11/8. I will continue to think good thoughts for you (& me!) and in the meantime try to figure out what all these letter codes mean. Can you tell I am new at this? :D I have been on BCPs for what seems like ages now, and my first consult is next week. I am scared, anxious, but READY for this process to finally begin. DH & I laugh about how many tears we've shed, and no part of the process has even started yet! Again, best of luck to you, and I'll be checking in soon.

Lou - you are totally preggo. Cannot wait for the update.
Lauren319 - Congrats again. I am so happy for you and sending lotsa positive thoughts your way! Hooray!!
Meinemo – I just did my first PIO this morning. It was not as terrible as I thought. DH did it for me and massaged the area for a minute or two, which helped. Like everyone else already said, I kept it at room temperature. I bent over a table with my toes pointed in and with my weight on the non-shot side. It seemed to help. I also walked around for about 10 minutes right after the shot and then sat on a heating pad for about 5 minutes. Seems a bit of a crazy routine, but it was not so bad.
Sonya – so many good follies! Thinking of you on ER day.
Krys, Tess and Brandy – Great numbers for your betas! Baby dust!
Amanda – Keep those follies growing!
Anniegirl – Hoping for the 22nd for your ER date!
AFM: Out of the 8 eggs, 7 fertilized – 4 abnormal and arrested; 3 growing as of today. But, it is going to be a day 3 transfer. I was a bit bummed because day 5 has a higher success rate, but staying positive and hopeful. They said I had a 4 cell 1 grade, 4 cell 2 grade, and a 2 cell 2 grade. I have no idea what that means. All I know is our transfer is bright and early – 7am procedure. I feel like it is Christmas and too excited to sleep. Do any of you ladies know what the cell/grade means? Well, I am thinking of all you wonderful women and sending you all tons of baby dust from Minnesota!!
