Hi girls

It has been pretty quiet on here lately but I guess that is because everyone is waiting to start. I am very excited and nervous both. My brother and his wife have announced that they are trying for #2 and I guess I should add that when DH and I started trying almost 3 years ago we convinced my brother and his wife to try with us and now they have a beautiful 18 month old. I so badly want to have some good news of our own when they inevitably announce "ta da!!!" I am just praying that this FET is it. We are going to transfer 2 grade A and A+ blasts ( I have a bionic cervix) and I am so hoping it takes. Our beta will fall on DH's bday and it would be the greatest bday present ever.

So tomorrow is my progesterone check to make sure I ovulated and all and then it is 8 days until AF and we are good to go.
How is everyone else doing?

Hello everyone We are getting closer!! I am on day 7 of Lupron today. I take my last BCP tomorrow - thank God! No terrible side effects. Mood swings (what else is new), increased appetite and more vivid dreams seem to be it. Nothing I can't handle. Baseline is next week - 10/21- and assuming I get a thumbs up I start stimms on the 23rd. Where is everyone else in their cycle?

Hi Anna - I know how you feel. My younger sister has gotten pregnant 3 times and had 3 beautiful girls. The first time was after my DH and I had been trying unsuccessfully for a couple of years. The 2nd time was when I was going thru my first IVF cycle in 06 (that ended well because we had babies 6 weeks apart but it was hard to accept her BFP at the time). Then she got pg with #3 right after my ectopic in 08. I keep joking with my DH that she will probably turn up pg again since we are going thru IVF again. It's hard but what can you do?? I don't know if it will ever get easy hearing someones "happy news". What I really hate is when people say "we got pregnant and weren't even trying!" UGH!!!

Hope everyone else is doing well. I haven't had time to go back and read everything. Things have been busy for me at work and at home which is nice because time is going fast! I know it will come to a screeching halt during the 2ww though.

Hi all . So next Monday, Oct 18th I go for b/w to confirm ovulation. If that looks like it should then I start my Lupron. Woo whooo! Soon enough this board is going to be getting really busy! yeah!

Hello everyone! I am new to IVF and to message boards. I hope you all don't mind me joining the group this late in the game.

I have been on Lupron for a bit and on 10/11 I added 225ml Follistim and 225ml Menopur daily. So far I think I have been pretty calm on the crazy juice (DH might say otherwise). But I am starting to get anxious and nervous about any little thing my body is doing. I am trying to remain calm and I don't like to tell DH about my anxiety/fears bc he gets anxious and tells me that I need to relax and that stress isn't good, etc. and then it snowballs... Thank goodness I found this site!

I go back to Dr for b/w and u/s on Thurs to find out how things are going.

Just wanted to check in and see how things were going for everyone. Today will be day 3 of Lupron, and I am anxiously waiting to stop birth control on Monday. Other than that its just playing the waiting game until my appointment on Nov 4 to confirm the Nov 8 transfer. It stinks that they are dragging out the protocol so much this time but I am hoping that will just mean a BFP in the end.

Annashope- Good to be joining you again for another cycle. Hopefully we both end up with good results this time around. When is your expected transfer day? And how do you already know what the blasts are? They have always waited to tell us after they thaw them. We are hoping to transfer our final 3 but wont know the grading until transfer day.

lisa-Congrats on getting to stop the BCP soon!! When is your expected transfer?

krisnjer- Welcome. You are def not too late, and I think you are actually further along in the cycle than most of us which means you get to go through the dreaded 2ww first. This site is a great place to vent and just share everything you feel. Since we havent told anyone about the infertility, IUIs, and IVFs its nice to have someone to talk to.

When is everyone estimated Transfer Date?

Hi Ladies!! I'm going to be doing the microdose lupron flare protocol in November. I have a wonderful nearly two year old son (nov 5) from my first IVF cycle back in 2008. I've been trying to get pregnant for a year now. 3 clomid cycles, 1 FET (w/ leftover embies from my son's IVF cycle), 1 fresh IVF, all BFN. I insisted that they do tests to figure out why my cycles weren't working despite good quality embryos, so in Sept we did an HSG (all fine) and an endometrial biopsy, which indicated that I have chronic, mild endometritis (not to be confused with endometriosis). So, the month of October is devoted to dealing with the endometritis (which can impact implantation). I stop BCP on Oct 27th and then should get my period and start stimming!! I start Lupron on Sunday. If all goes like my last cycle my estimated ET would be around Nov 10. Just depends on a couple things I.e. AF showing up, stim time, etc. Ill most likely be in my 2ww when I hit 40! Woowhoooo! What a gift!

According to my nurse, it is not at all essential if I get my AF or not...is that true? She said that it might be just light bleeding/spotting. I was under the impression that AF is imp. without which we will be unable to proceed.
insights anyone?

If you could have a choice, how many days rest/take it easy days would you have before procedure??
DH insists that I take it really really easy from tomorrow (thats when I take lupron)

Yeah for you annashope! Very exciting! I'm jealous you are doing a natural cycle that sounds sounds great. I don't think my clinic does them. I'm really excited that we're all nearing our dates. Riogirl has done such an awesome job with the calendar it is nice to be able to track everyone.

annashope - no meds - that's great!
babydreamz - I think she is right you don't ned AF, studies say you really don't need any rest just take it easy. Last time I could not get rest at all.

Sdtrying I know that many clinics don't do natural FET's but I have such a terrible response to Lupron. When we did the IVF I used lupron and got so over suppressed that no amount of stimms could reverse the effect. We used a massive dose of stimms and only got 4 eggs. So now I was worried that using Lupron again would make it really hard to build up the lining.

On the flip side all of the results keep coming back great- FSH nice and low, clear tubes, normal uterus, normal ovulation always day 14-15/ lining reaching 10mm by ovulation great progesterone level, and genetic tests, antibodies check and everything is good SO WHY Am I NOT PREGNANT AFTER 2 1/2 years???? I am happy that everything is ok but "Unexplained infertility" is so frustrating!!!! I just keep wishing that we could find out how to get it right. I mean my DH has 10% morphology which is not great but I thought it is not the worst right? ugh anyways sorry for venting- I just wish there was a solution

our infertility is not 'unexplained', but there is no reason why my healthy, normal, 26 year old husband should have such a low sperm count. It's super frustrating...

I can't do a natural FET, since I don't ovulate (anovualtory PCO). But I don't use Lupron either - just estradiol and then progesterone. Super simple - no injections!

I'm still in 'miscarriage limbo'... waiting for my body to go back to normal... this is hell!
