Hello Hello...
Well I made it back on an early flight in time to get blood drawn and with my husband's tenacity the lab folks were convinced to stay an extra 20 minutes so that we were able to get the results today...
We've got a beta level at 207! BFP!
They said 2 more beta level tests until ultrasound.

Next thing to obsess on, what are normal beta levels???? We only put one embie in 10 days ago.
Hugs,

Jersey,
Congrats! That's fantastic! If you're only 10 days past transfer, 207 sounds good. Mine was 781 at 14 days past, and it's supposed to double every 48 hours, sounds like we are right on track! My Dr. didn't order anymore blood tests due to my levels, I'm going straight to ultrasound, but I have to wait for two weeks from today, first they could get me in. This wait is worse than the initial 2ww. I keep wondering if it's going to be eptopic. I don't want it to be, and I don't have any symptoms of it being that, but I am a worrier so I'm worried. I don't want to get too excited because after all the "no's" we've been through I'm afraid this is going to be taken away from me, too. It's such a weird feeling. Monday I couldn't stop smiling, & now I can't stop worrying! Will this go away?

Hi Dierdra,

Let's just try to remind each other to enjoy the ride.

I'm a worry person too, haven't told anyone yet except my hubby. May get bold and see if my mom can keep a secret this weekend. I just don't want people to know (even family) until we know for sure, so many know we are going through stuff but I just don't feel comfy sharing this early in my first pregnancy after what it took to get here... Stay strong and be well. Remember to put your feet up whenever you can.

Hello JerseyTouchDown
Congratulations on your BFP!! I am new to this thread but I noticed that you were on the AACEP portocol. I am 31 years old and this is my third IVF attempt. I am so excited that this protocol has worked for you. Did you have any spotting and headaches during the GonalF/Ganirelix/estrace stage. I am really hoping it works this time but the spotting has me freaked out.
Thank you

Jersey,
I'm doing a little better. I'm trying to stay optomistic & not worry. We have told pretty much everyone. We discussed trying to keep it a secret, but we couldn't do it. We didn't really tell anyone we were doing in-vitro again, but once we found out, we couldn't contain it. When we tell people I remind them to pray for us because we aren't totally safe yet. I figure the more prayers we can get, the better. When is your next beta? I was excited at first that I didn't have to do another one because my levels were so good, but I almost wish now that they had ordered another one, I just want to make sure that the numbers are moving up. I guess I will just be patient until the 28th.

Total Emotional Overload... crying for pretty much no reason on and off again.
Haven't told anyone yet, waiting until I get to see my mom and dad in person tomorrow!

Diedra, my next beta is tomorrow, they originally were going to do Monday but moved it up on the account of my trip. They said my number was really good for a first beta at 10days post transfer for 1 embie but they check 3 times before the ultrasound. So tonight I cried because I haven't told my mom yet but that I want to tell her in person and that we haven't told my husband's mom yet because I wanted to tell my first... I'm emotionally unstable with tissues in near reach all day today. Also got my first real bout with nausea today, I tried to eat a cupcake but let's just say it didn't work out. Hey, if you feel really nervous, call your nurse and say you'd like another beta between now and the 28th to make sure we're moving in the right direction, the worst they can say is no. But remember you're paying for all your visits etc so they might just say yes, they get paid whenever you go in--it may be a medical office but its still a business in the end--- I'd lead with I'm calling because I would like to schedule a follow up beta because with all that I have been through to get it here it would make me feel more comfortable to have a midpoint check before ultrasound... (Can't hurt...) Good luck
Hang in there and keep posting when you can... I'm scared because its so early but I'm excited such a conflict...

Recruiter, I did have a few headaches but nothing to get upset about. I never spotted though, I went straight from birth control to the protocol, had a regular period and then no spotting thus far. On transfer day, about two hours after I did have a little clear pink liquid on the applicator for the progesterone suppository but they said that could happen. Definitely let your nurse know about your spotting... Good luck.

Hi JerseyTouchDown
Thank you so much. The spotting has stopped since so I am breathing a big sigh of relief. The nurse did say its normal. Best of luck with your next beta.

Hi to all of you!
I actually had a late September cycle, currently in my 2ww. I hope I could join in on your fascinating conversations! I had endometriosis removed about 4 months ago, and now trying IVF as last resort. Really hopping that this cycle would be successful. My lower abdomen is quite painful and my whole abdomen bloated. Did any of you get the same symptoms; it was very bad after ET, then got better for a week and now it’s worse again.

Welcome back txcp, hope all goes well for you this time!

Welcome Gina! Congrats on the BFP!!

Wanababy-I was fine after ET. I started bloating towards the end of my 2ww and then got a BFP, so hopefully it's a good sign for you as well!

Jersey-waiting for your next beta. Hoping to hear from you soon.

AFM, I'm super nauseous. It's getting worse everyday. I also want carbs & starches (bread, french fries). That's all that sounds good. Lots of foods I can't even think about. Luckily I've only gotten sick twice so far, although if getting sick got rid of the nausea, I would prefer to puke everyday so I wouldn't be nauseous so much during the day. I've only had two "breakdowns" so far, too. One this weekend and then one today. This weekend was worse, I couldn't stop crying no matter how much I wanted to. And, my boobs are sore, They seem to get worse in the evening.
sI've decided not to call the Dr. for another beta. I'm just going to wait for the ultrasound. I can't change anything physically now, and so far everything seems fine, so I'm just going to be patient & wait, besides, if this works out, I have 241 more days of waiting until my due date!

It’s so nice to meet people that are going through the same experience.

Deidraj. All those signs must be good, sounds just like the joys of motherhood, When is your ultrasound?

My first Bhcg is on Friday 2 days to go! I am at that stage of searching the internet for all possible things to give me hope! I really hope its good news, all went well during the cycle, we had 14 eggies, of which we transferred 2 blasts on day 5, and we froze 5.

Hello ladies,
I had my 3rd beta this morning, waiting for the results. My RE called yesterday to say my progesterone was 1 point too low, not sure what that means, uping my endometrin to 3x's a day, hopefully that will help. I'm so glad I found this thread. Best wishes to all of you! :D
