franca- Im only a few weeks a head of you and I dont recall feeling my baby kick until my 22 week anyways. unless i just didnt feel it or know what it was and thought it was indigestion. But as soon as i felt her it was strong but not as often as i feel her now. I think everyone is different too. i think a doppler will reassure you when you hear the heartbeat.about the orgasm I dont have too many these days being afraid od the baby and i can feel her move but the last i remember the hormones definitely made it better. sounds like you definitely are having fun. good for you!! =)

katie- that was unexpected to hear you mention the shape of your belly. I cant imagine what i will look like. I was looking a my old pictures from a few months ago when i was just starting to put on some weight and we thought i had a big little tummy. now we look at the current picture of my belly and wow i look huge already. being that i was so skinny before. its amazing. i've gained 30 lbs already. I was at 105lbs when we started i was a twig. now i am 134 lbs. and i cant believe.
you have a very nice nursery you've put alot of wotk into it. and yay our next a few days to go huh. congrats your almost due!!

stephanie- CONGRATS MOMMA!! thats great news to hear that they are doing so well and your holding up with the pain. Im so happy for you!! you all look great in those pics being you just gave birth you look relaxed.

afm- I had my appt last thursday and everything is good. It was odd that i had my appt two weeks early. I wanted the nurse to give me a letter for my job to keep me on my restrictions and i guess there were some miscommunication and they just wanted me to come in. i didnt expect to have my full monthly exam. but thet told me next month nov.11 is my last monthly appt and after that it'll e every 2 weeks. is that too early or normal to go do every two weeks in nov. I guess we'll be 28 weeks on my last monthly appt next month. thats all i have going on besides the same o with school keeping me busy.
Im glad all of you are doing well and by the next time i get on katie will probably have her baby, yay!!

Stephanie - OMG! I cant believe how beyond precious they are!!! Your Ethan & Angelina are too gorgeous for words!!  Someone took some amazing pics - you two are so lucky! You can see how happy you both look even though you are definitely dazed from the meds. Thank you for posting such beautiful pictures, it makes me excited to be going soon! I absolutely LOVE the second to last pic, it looks like they are holding hands - its too sweet! Your Andrew looks every inch the Proud Papa indeed! Oh, I'm so glad to hear from you, I was missing you alot! I know how much you've been hurting trying to heal from surgery, but each day will get a little better, just take it slow, ok? You just let Andrew lift those babies for you, and do all the bending, so you heal nicely with no complications, ok? Whew! thanks for telling me that the nasty reflux will finally disappear- because I'm sooo ready to be done with that! Ugh, of course its the item I send you that takes your skin off, owie!!!!! I cant imagine what that must feel like  Can you send Andrew for some of that Lamisoh cream? I'm going straight to formula so I'm prepared to face engorgement - ugh.
oh honey you did a great job and you were very brave throughout this whole time, and you've done it! YAY! And now you have two of the most beautiful newborns!! Well, I'd like to say that I'm surprised that your in laws left (how weird to just leave after the babies are just born?) but cant say that I was surprised to hear that you had a big mess to come home to = Grrrr! Jeez! like it wouldnt occur to them to think "gee, two newborns are on the way home, maybe we should clean up before we go"? UGH, some people just dont think! But whatever, at least now your hubby can focus on you and the babies.
Think of it this way, you most likely wont have to see them again for a few years, right? I have to say that seeing all those pictures are making me super eager to meet Savannah! Who, by the way, doesnt seem to want to be going anywhere yet. If she can only stay put until after Thursday that would be great, once Chris gets over this bad, long schedule by Friday- it will be like - ok, umm, ready please! I know you probably wont, but please try to get some sleep, it'll help you heal faster and take advantage of having Andrew around while he can. Ah, you both must be over the moon about those beautiful babies!!!!
much love and CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! - xoxoxoxo

STEPH OH MY GOODNESS!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!! They are both just gorgeous, I am sooo glad you posted these. So far this board is producing some pretty cute babies :D My favorite pic is the one with Andrew holding both of them...just brought tears to my eyes (and freaked me out a little knowing that that will be us soon!). I'm so sorry your recovery is painful. I think I am still in denial about all of that even though I know it's major surgery. AHHH!!! I better just stay in denial and deal with it when it comes.

So glad the babies are eating well and I hope you can go back to nursing soon. I am amazed that they latched on so quickly. You MUST be super mom!! Unlike Andrew's family. Oh.my.word. Never again. I cannot believe someone would trash your house. At least they are gone now.

My c/s is Nov 11...3 1/2 weeks! I'll be 37 1/2 weeks. I have days when I totally think I'll make it, others when I don't. I guess we'll just see what happens. Surgery isn't until noon, so it's going to be really hard for me to be NPO that long. It's not so much the not eating, it's the not drinking. I drink so much water and am sure I'll be more than ready for the iv when I check in at 10am! Juliette is still breech and just isn't moving. I'll be curious if they flip at all during surgery like Ethan did.

Stephanie – I am so very happy for you! They are absolutely beautiful babies! I can’t believe how full grown they are … you deserve a metal for carrying those babies around for 36-37 weeks!!! Unbelievable!!! Andrew looks so proud to finally meet the babies. How has the sleep schedule been for them? I’m sure they are up every two hours which is a lot for you considering you just got out of the hospital but I am so happy that you have Andrew and I am sure Alex will help out a lot also. All I can say is enjoy those gorgeous babies!

Babyluv - aw, honey Alex and Scarlett are too cute! I love the pumpkin patch pictures! They look like they are having a great time there! Someones a good photographer too! How are you feeling these days? Do you think you'll hold on until Nov? It kind of freaks you out when Docs say things like "if you last" doesnt it? I think the next 3 1/2 weeks will go by pretty quickly...

Sara - Ack! I can imagine that hospital bed rest is like when time stands still  but you're in the right place and they're keeping a close watch on you, so try to keep self mentally busy - we're here to help keep you busy too! Our poor Steph was on bed rest for awhile so she can probably give you a heads up on how to keep occupied, but if you can hold on 8-14 days look at what you'll get as a reward! You can make sure that you're sure on names and middle names, by the way, am I just forgetful? or have I missed it? what are you thinking for the babie's names?

PA - Aw honey of course its emotional to buy her first little dress, think of how much we went through to get pregnant in the first place. Surely we all Thank God to even be here (well and the good Dr Rose too- lol.) I hope that your mom is alright, this has got to be a rough time to worried about her welfare, your emotions are so close to the surface with all these pregnancy hormones. Hang in there honey!

Gi - Yes, Savannah is doing some really aggresive moves to my ribs lately! Ow! Wow you all have some really great maternity leave in Ireland  How are you feeling?

Anglea - I hope that you manage to get some relax time this weekend - (Gabriella said she was looking forward to a lazy weekend- lol) And I hear you on the constant heart burn and reflux- ugh, its just awful! Even taking Zantac 2x day and Tums in between hasnt been helping enough! You've got enough time left that you can ask your Peri/ OB to RX you some Nexium (pg cat b) mine thinks that i'm so close they dont want to bother, thats nice huh? I did look into OTC Prilosec and found out that its pg cat C, so I just have to suffer a bit longer, but you shouldnt have to. Enjoy getting organized but dont do too much, ok mama?

Natasha - I'm glad to hear that you're doing well, how is school going? No, the every 2 week appts sound about right, then when you get to every week, then you can get excited for meeting your little girl soon!

Claudia - What are you up to mama?

AFM - I'm still here, just waddling along  There is no sign of labor at all, it seems like Savannah maybe changed her mind about an early arrival? More than anything the only thing thats bugging me is that walking is painful now since someone is just sitting on my cervix - owie! oh and turning in bed sure is an experience now too! I feel like a turtle thats upside down sometimes- lol. I'm just waiting... But boy did Steph's pics make me more eager to see what mine will lokk like! Have a good weekend mamas to be ! - xoxoxoxo

Natasha - I am glad to read that you are doing well. I figured when we didn’t hear from you for awhile that you were completely consumed with school and other things. I am glad that you monthly appointment went well. And no, the every two weeks is normal once you hit the third trimester, which will be around that time and some offices will want to see patients every week at that point. Mine started to be every week when I hit the third trimester but then again I am with a high risk OB.

Babyluv – Even though I can’t see the pictures, I know they are just adorable! You times is coming very soon and I can’t wait to see the babies.

Katie – I probably will mention it to my OB on Monday regarding the reflux. I have just been using Tums and haven’t moved onto Zantac yet but that is what I was taking before I got pregnant. Yes, I will have to agree, Gabriella’s head is on my cervix a lot of the time and it really hurts a lot, especially after lying down for awhile.

Sara – I am thinking of you and wishing you the best!

PA_FA, Gi, Claudia, & Franca – I hope you had a great weekend!

AFM – Well, I have to say that I am so proud of my DH and I because we got so much accomplished yesterday. Of course, that was after a longgggggg nap … lol. But, I finally got all of those boxes out of my storage unit so I can throw them away. We also went to Target and bought the cushion for the changing table, a Genie diaper trash can, more swaddles, bottle drying rack, and mobile for the crib. So the only thing I really need now is the glider/ottoman and more curtains for her room. I had to laugh at my DH though. He started getting irritated that the shopping was taking so long but I told him that if we didn’t purchase the items now that it would be up to him to buy them after she is born all by himself and course that kept him quite the rest of the time … lol. But, he wanted to know why we were buying the Genie diaper trash can instead of the regular trash can and I laughed and said this will help keep the smell of the dirty diapers to a minimum. He just cracks me up and of course I wouldn’t laugh at him but he acts like I am buying stuff just to by buying it and I keep telling him there is a reason for everything … lol. He doesn’t necessarily care about the cost it the time it takes to search and buy everything!

Oh and I finally bought some wrist/hand splints last night. My carpal tunnel from all of the swelling is really bad now to the point where I can’t feel my finger tips and it’s hard to hold things without dropping them. The throbbing is horrible also but the splint really helped out a lot. So if anyone starts to suffer from the same thing, go to your local pharmacy and buy some splints to sleep in at night.

Steph-They are absolutely gorgeous!!!! You make pretty babies mama! Keep getting rest and you will be back to yourself in no time :D So happy for you and Andrew.

Katie-The waiting must be killing you...I'm already getting impatient and I have six more weeks to go  I'm doing good-thanks for asking. I was supposed to do a 5k walk today with my youth group and I just couldn't make it since I got sooo tired this afternoon. It's the first time I had to bail on something but I also had to listen to my body.

Babyluv-talk about gorgeous kids....you are a fabulous photographer btw!! I loved how you captured the moments and in such an artistic way! I am crossing everything that you make it to 11-11 (which is what I'm wishing for myself as well!!)

Angela-glad you had somewhat of a relaxing weekend. I'm starting to really feel the effects of pregnancy and I can't imagine my fingers going numb from carpul tunnel. I am glad the splint is helping relieve some of the pain/uncomfortableness.

Sara-how are you holding up in the hospital? Any good books you are reading?!?!

AFM-DH put up the blinds in the nursery and my mom and I did our layette on Friday so I feel like I'm really moving forward with everything!! I went to a family friend's 60th birthday party last night and they were all shocked at how big I am! I think it's because I have a small frame and not that I'm carrying HUGE (at least that is what I'm telling myself!) I have my maternity shoot set for November 6th which I'm super excited about!! We are going to take Lincoln with us to Brooklyn because he is of course our first baby!! I will of course post the pics once she edits them and sends them back to me. Hope you all have a good week and I can't wait to catch up and see those beautiful babies! xoxo

Hello beautiful mammas

Thanks for the movement and big "O" reply :D . Yes they are massive but aparantly its a good thing for me as and better blood flow for the baby. As for the movement Elizabeths been kicking since i was 19 weeks and shes quite an active girl. When i'm busy i don't feel her so much or first thing in the morning so when i stop and lie down and she doesn't kick i panic. I do get a lot of bubbling sensation above the nunu area did or does anyone else?

Mammas who are just about to pop please find time to relax... Angela stop doing so much :D
Love you

Steph,

OMG, they are gorgeous!!!!!!!!! You cooked them good!!!!!. Sorry to hear in-laws left you a mess, very inconsiderate, but I LOVE YOUR BABIES!!!

Katie,

Yes, we had vaca to TN 2 weeks ago. It was wonderful. Weather was good, cabin was truely on top of a Mountain (very scary driving to and from cabin). Very relaxing. Yes, I have been riding my horses again, have showed a couple times and just got back from a horse camping trip this last weekend. Trying to keep busy, as what was to be my EDD approachs, the more ancy I get.

Thanks everyone for your kind words, I will continue to check back on all of you and your upcoming babies!

Much love,

Ronda

Stephanie-Your babies are beautiful!! You look like you handled the c-section like a champ. I think I'll be bawling like a baby-seems to be my new "normal" right now! So are feeling any better? It is good to hear all the details you shared-makes me a little more at peace with what will be happening soon. Andrew looks very at home holding those angels-I'm glad it all fell into place for him. Take care of yourself and give big kisses to those precious ones for me

Claudia-I can't wait to see your pictures, I'm sure they'll be beautiful! You are so thin, of course your baby bump has to get big-where would poor Flick hide if your belly didn't grow? A big belly means a beautiful baby SOON :) Glad all the baby stuff is coming together-it makes everything so real.

Babyluv-I am so jealous that you have a date already for the c-section. My doctors must think it is funny at this point to keep giving me the "wait and see"answer. It's funny about going without food/water before surgery-I am fine and could go without but the second I'm told I can't have water I feel like I'm dying of thirst. I can't imagine in your case because you do drink so much water. We'll survive I guess

Katie-I know that the anticipation is killing me so I can only imagine the every day anxious anticipation you are feeling. I laughed when you talked about feeling like a turtle on its back-I am right there with you!!! Thank goodness hospital beds go up or I would never make it to the bathroom. It seems worse now that I lay in bed all day. My body is mush. I check in so often just to hear good news from you-maybe Savannah will cooperate soon

Franca-You crack me up! The nunu area?! I had fluttering very early in that area, then our girl put up residence down low so she hiccups and I feel them very low. Babies like to go everywhere in our bodies!

Angela-Carpel tunnel on top of preggo issues?! How cruel! I have had so much swelling that they told me if my fingers/face went numb to be concerned-but it is a preeclampsia issue not the same as yours. Thank god that hasn't happened to me-I think it would bug me terribly. Were you able to rest all weekend? The shopping sounds like my experience with my DH-he has a short attention span for it and always looks at me like I have 3 eyes when I compare different products or go to buy something that he know nothing about. Fun times :)

Natasha-It sounds like you are hanging in there with school and now more frequent doc. appts. It just means you are getting closer to baby time. Will you have lots of classes next semester or are you taking it off when the baby comes?

Gi-Thank you for providing a much needed laugh-I died when you talked about dog farts! I had a dog when I was younger that would clear out a room from his gas smell. How are you feeling? I haven't looked lately-how much time until 40 weeks for you? I know it is getting close-YEAH! I'm sure it was hard to make it through the 15th remembering the baby you lost. You are so strong and will be a great mom for Kayla!

PA-It is so fun to buy those tiny little clothes and imagine your baby girl in it-so emotional too. I sat in the babies' room holding up clothes and crying just imagining them wearing those clothes soon. Tears and pregnancy just go together  How are you feeling? Are you officially done with work?

AFM-I am doing okay-bored but happy that most of my tests are stable. I also have time to think which gives me much needed perspective. There are ladies in here that have been here much longer and there are people in the hospital dealing with terrible things-so I feel fortunate that I am here for a short while and for a good reason-to let my babies grow and have trained people watch over me. I am so glad I have you all to keep me sane and to be human contact when I feel so overwhelmed or lonely. The NICU nurse visited yesterday just to talk over possible concerns and I bawled the whole time. I know we won't know until they come out what needs they'll have (if any) but it was so overwhelming to hear everything. I am going to think happy positive thoughts and remember they are highly trained to help even the sickest babies.

My ob doc. and perinatologist are suppose to talk today and get on the same page. OB doc. thought 36 weeks was the goal and peri. doc. thinks 37 weeks should be the goal. I want what is best so I will go with either decision but I would love to have a date. I think I need a countdown for my sanity

I hope everyone is taking care! I'm sure I'll check in often-not much on TV and every time I read I put myself to sleep.

Enjoy the day,
Sara

Steph - How goes it busy twin mama? I bet those two beautiful babies are really keeping you and Andrew busy! ok, so 5 days post op, i'm hoping that you're feeling a little more like yourself now. Please just take it slow and dont overdo the bending ok, mama? I bet they're eating well and giving you twice the joy. Check in when you can I know you've got to be sleep deprived right about now - much love twin mama - xoxoxo

Angela - Oh no! carpel tunnel on top of all the pregnancy symptoms? oh thats just not fair! I'm sorry that you're suffering but glad you're getting some relief from the splint. Hope you had fun shopping yesterday. Your DH thinking a diaper genie wasnt necessary? Oh boy is he in for a lot of learning! I had the opposite with Chris in BRU, he was so eager to get it all done that we went down the list and he was still adding things to the cart that werent even on the list! By the second shopping trip, he was a little more restrained, but thats when we had the indecison starting and he wanted to read everything on EVERY item - and for a change it was me thinking "are we done yet? can we go now"? haha. I tried to access your registry and it wont let me. It keeps saying no matches found, grrr! You didnt close it out yet did you? It must just be target giving me a hard time - ugh.

Natasha - Ummm, yeah, my ticker is scaring me a little too! its so close now - eek!

Claudia - Oh honey! I'm glad you bailed on that walk, its a wonderful gesture but at 36 weeks? You would have been wiped out for days even walking slowly. You're getting close now too, how are you feeling? I'm glad that you're nursery is coming together. I cant wait to see the pics of it. Now that ours is finished, I feel like I 've already forgotten what little clothes are in which drawer! Guess i better reaquaint (sp?) myself in there today  Aw, I feel the same way, the pups have been our babies for so long now they will always be the first baby wont they? And of course Lincoln should be in the baby photos, now will he pose or does he run when he hears the camera power on like Gracie does? I think your photo shoot will turn out fantastic - what a way to start your baby book! Take it easy busy mama - xoxo

Ronda - oh, I love TN, did you have a great time? I'm happy to hear that you're riding again and enjoying your horses. they have such a bond with us and seem to know how we're feeling. They are such extrodinary animals to be around. I can only imagine that your EDD will be a hard day to get through, but you will, I think if you did something to acknowledge it may help? lighting a candle, saying a prayer? or some words that you need to say or think? I'm sorry that it happened this way and I hope that if you are still dreaming of it, maybe theres a way? I wish you peace and happiness with anything you decide. much love to you my friend - xoxoxo

Sara - Yep, I'm right back with you on the reflux  it was nice to have 2 whole nights off from it, but I knew it wasnt going to last- ugh. Steph said that it goes away right after delivery, so i'm soooo looking frorward to that! I know you must be bored in the hospital, but thats where the babies are the safest for now. I hope that all your docs get on the same page and set a date for you, so your countdown can begin too. It will go faster then , I think knowing exactly how much longer you've got to go. It sounds like either way, you'll only have to wait 1-2 weeks to meet your babies!!!!! Thats so exciting - xoxo

AFM - I thought that last night I might have been feeling something, my hips were really killing me, I thought I felt a little crampy at the bottom of my belly, and the pelvic pressure was soooo bad that every step was super slow and I was shuffling like a 90 yo woman saying ow with each step. I told Chris that maybe? somethings starting? and went to lay on the couch, and within a half hour I was feeling normal again. Go figure, I guess I just did too much again. But see this is what I'm afraid of, that when labor starts I'll just blow it off as thinking "oh I walked too much, did too much bending, or should have gotten off my feet sooner" and think I'm fine, when it is actually labor starting - ugh. I hope my water just breaks, or I get that bloody show - anything to be a crystal clear sign, you know? We'll see, but so far Savannah seems quite cozy where she is! Ah, isnt waiting fun? - xoxoxo
