Hiya ladies!!!

Lots to catch up on so here goes...

Kelly - Welcome! I'm also new to this forum but feel like one of the girls already, so you will too in no time.

Karian - Welcome also! I also have "explained" infertility issues, both my DH and I have kids from previous relationships... so, I can relate to the frustration that comes along with not knowing why it's not working THIS time if it's worked before.

Kynlee - So sorry to hear about BFN :( I hope you and your DH are doing okay and staying positive. I will keep you in my prayers.

Meinemo - My RE said sometimes you have to do Ovidrel 'boosters' during the 2ww... Idk tho, I'm not doing those. Sorry you hafta continue sticking yourself :(

Margi - YEA follies!!! WTG tube!!! I'm super excited that things are moving in the right direction for you! :D

Klinger & Nancy - Woo Hoo for trigger shots!!! How excited you guys must be! Well on your way now.

Karin - Congrats on starting your Lupron! I referred to them as the mosquito bites (after I started stims) LOL!

Macfamily - Super duper congrats to you!!! I have no idea what #dp#dt means... but from what I've read, it's sounds very promising.

Tammy - So happy for you that you started stims (or the wasp stings, compared to the Lupron) hehehe!

afm - I'm feeling soooooo much better. Thank goodness! I actually got out of the house to go grocery shopping with my DH. That was an adventure! Who knew spending so much time strolling through aisles after almost a week on your ass would be so exhausting?! MIL has made dinner for us for the last few nights (whatta sweetie) but I'm really looking forward to getting back in the kitchen to do my thing... Not sure when I should go back to work. I drive a city bus and am nervous about the bumping up and down for 8 hours a day... However, I'm running outta sick days and Lord knows the bills aren't gonna stop coming just cuz I'm trying to get pregnant. Hope everyone has a nice night!

Prayers for all!
~Stephanie

The vitamins for DH are Men's choice by blue bonnet www.bluebonnetnutrition.com I remember that I looked at the ingrdients and it had all the sperm boosting stuff and also none of the sperm lowering stuff that some other supplements had. Hope this helps Lauren, I am in CA.

Hi guys

lots been going on!

Klingar (amanda)/Nancy - Congrats on your triggering tonight, i hope to be following you soon

karen - Are you having any headaches yet?

Ryann- one thing i don't miss is the headsches, taking a nap in the afternoon, if you are able i found helped.

Tess - hubbies can be a pain, don't you love them. When i told mind about our possible ER on Friday, he asked me "will it be in the morning or afternoon as i have a meeting"

Margi - That's great, we maybe triggering at the same time.

AFM. it has been up and down for me over the last couple of days. I had a scan yesterday and my folls were growing in three groups, one set of high flyers (3x17mm+), another set of about 20 or 30 between 12 and 14mm and the rest below 10. in total, I have 50 folls, 23 on one side and 27 on the other. They advised that they had started to grow slowly which could be due to the coasting. I was told that i need to up my dose last night. I had another scan this morning and the lovely folls had grown alot overnight, I still have alot but not all of them will have eggs inside. If my bloods are ok today, I will be triggering tonight with ER on Friday hip hip hooray.

Hello everyone.....just a quick update on me. I'm of course in the 2WW! Going a bit crazy but all seems to be ok. My 1st beta is scheduled for next Tuesday the 26th. I'm definitely anxious about that.

I have to say that I am so bummed. We had 2 embryos that we transferred and 2 that we were hoping would make it to 5 days to freeze. We didn't have any to freeze because they didn't make it. :(

I am 33 years old with no known fertility issues and I was on a pretty high dose of all the meds. Why do you think I would only produce 8 follicles? That just makes me wonder because if I'm not pregnant this time, I don't have any frosties.

I feel really emotional right now and feel that I'm not pregnant. I don't know why but my boobs aren't that sore anymore and I don't feel much in my stomach area either. I'm also not that moody. I may be reading into everything. I also have not had any implantation bleeding.

I wish I could keep up with everyone and write personals but I'm not that good at keeping track of my own stuff. I just hope everyone out there knows how much this board has helped me in this process and how much I hope and pray all of you get that wonderful BFP you deserve.

Kaylie
estimated ER is 10/12
estimated Emb. Transfer is 10/15-10/17 :) [/color]
Beta #1 - 123 :)
Beta #2 scheduled for Thursday 10/28 - 256 :)
U/S scheduled for 11/15!!! + Heartbeat. Pregnant with one little angel!

Just a quick update on me. It turns out I had a late implanter and I am in fact pregnant but not sure it's a keeper. I got a BFP Monday with a $ tree, Answer, and a Clear blue digital said "Pregnant". I went for a beta yesterday and it is very low at 21 but has doubled perfectly since the 2.5 I got on 9/13. I started my meds back as soon as I got the bfp but it may have been too late because I was already spotting. I just wanted to update. It looks like I will be on this roller coaster for at least a few more days. I'm hoping for the best but preparing for the worst.

So, I went to visit my RE yesterday following 3 days of stimulation and apparently my E2 was only 69?! They have increased my Bravelle from 225 to 300 units and my Menopur remains at 75. The nurse said that they like to see the numbers at or above 100, hence, my increase in meds. When I asked her if this is cause for alarm, she said that it is not. She said that everyone responds differently to the meds and that the increase should do the trick. Has anyone had any experience with this. Worried...

Brandy - I've got everything crossed that you just had a late implanter and things are going to progress nicely from here on out!! Moving you back up on the list for tomorrow to the BFP section. When do you go back for your next beta??

Kaylie - Don't count yourself out until the beta says so hun. You're not of the running yet! Symptoms are so different for each woman and even each pregnancy. In the 6 times I've been pregnant (2 grown kiddos, 2 chems, 2 e/p's) I have never had implantation bleeding. And each time, I had very few symptoms. In fact in most cases it was just like AF was knocking on the door. So take the symptoms or lack thereof with a grain of salt at this point.

Osi - Glad to hear your levels & follies are looking better!! Wow, I still can't imagine having that many follies! But YAY for possibly triggering tonight for a Friday ER!! You're going to be PUPO in no time!!

Crystal - Hopefully the increase will do the trick! When do you go back for your next check?

Brandy: Wow. What a rollercoaster of emotions with this beta Hell...so sorry, hun! So many of us have been through that and it really can go either way. When do you go for next beta? Hoping for the best for you!!!

Kaylee: Don't be too bummed yet! Your beta isn't until next Tuesday, right? Plenty of folks have little to no symptoms and even negative HPTs and still come with a positive beta, so try to keep up the PMA...that does make a difference....try to distract yourself and stay out of Crazytown!!

Krys:Sending lots of positive energy your way....u/s tomorrow...best of luck. Hoping and crossing everything that you get good news.

"THE ER Trio" (Amanda, Nancy, and Anniegirl): Best of luck ladies!!!! Osi and I will be right behind ya! Make way for Crazytown....who amongst us is nutty with the POAS??!! I know that I am! Just can't control the urge...Amanda are you going to be the mayor for us? Or is that position currently taken? :)

AFM: I'll know after tomorrow morning if I get to trigger Thursday or Friday. Otherwise feeling ok, trying to stay positive and looking forward to my first appt with an acupuncturist on Friday afternoon.

Hi Ladies
I am a little late in joining the group but am excited to have some "friends" to chat with. I am in the process of waiting to do a FET in a few weeks. I just stopped my BCP yesterday and now will wait for AF. I am only going to be doing estrogen patches and prog.in oil and then the transfer. Has ony one else done this? This is my first FET. We are looking at the week of 11/8 for the FET. We were blessed with a baby boy back in Dec. 2008 with IVF and now want a playmate for him :)

Meinemo.....I've never heard of the HCG shots during the 2ww. Are you doing progesterone PIO too? If so...you have all of my sympathy for the next 2weeks. It will be worth it when you get the positive results!

OSi......did u say FIFTY follies? WOWZZZZAAAA!!!! You've just made enough for all of us! Do u always make that many? You are a follie making machine! Soooo jealous

Freckles.....U have so many emotions going on right now. I've never been pregnant, but there's lots of ladies on this board that have that say u may not have any distinctive symptoms. Listen to them and keep your PMA. As for not having fro sties....you probably won't need them until you're ready for siblings. Focus on the 2 that u have inside and imagine them making a new home for the next 9 mos.

Annie..Klinger..Nancy.....enjoy your needle-free day!

Blang......that's great news! Praying that your numbers continue to rise.

Lauren319.....just thinking about u and hoping that you'll join us again soon!

Afm.....started my lupin last night. DH is away and we were talking last night and he said that so many of our friends are asking about baby news. Don't they think that if there were any that we'd share it? Last weekend my SIL asked if we were consideRing ED. Of course i said no that I couldn't do it. She went on to tell me how she could never do it and thAt we should just adopt.she even went on to give me reasons why she wouldn't do it. Easy for her to say, she's had 3 kids. Now I'm glad that we've decided to keep it to ourselves. People r so judgmental. You would think that she would be more supportive just in case we did do it. I have no doubt that we're doing the right thing for us.

Triggering tonight and er on Friday! Woop woop, finally, gosh it feels like I have been sticking myself with needles forever. Ohhhh, i can have my first sleep in on Saturday in two weeks. No everyday early morning visits to the hospital.

Karin - this is my first ivf. But in my scans before starting I normally had around 30 -32 folls. It was the stims that increased the number. Believe me, having this many had it's problems and there is no guarantee how many will be of a good quality.

I think I will have a chinese tonight to celebrate:)

karin1 - Can you believe how idiotic people can be? That statement "Just adopt!" is so maddening. Adoption is emotionally painful, expensive, full of an unbelievable level of red tape, and the outcome is risky.

Since this is my first IVF cycle, my partner and I have been telling friends/family and they're so excited for us. I am worried that this will bite me in the ass if my beta is negative. With fertility treatments, people should follow that idiom, "Do not speak (about pregnancy) unless you are spoken to"!

Yes, I'm doing both PIO nightly, and the hcg booster shots every 3 days. I'm really leaning towards using some leftover magic bullets (suppositories) instead of the hcg. I have to decide by tonite. The hcg just seems to complicate testing. Will I regret that? yeesh...

Osi - woo hoo for triggering! 50 follies - Dang girl you are making me so jealous, my goodness I am here happy if I get 8!

karin - I am glad you didn't tell anyone. It is none of their business and people say the stupidest things, it will be your baby no matter what so don't bother telling. I had the discussion with DH if we went to sperm donor and not telling anyone. I have a coworker who adopted a boy and now his son chose to be homeless. So adoption could be great but it could not and I think that if you can have either DE or DS you should always try that way first!

jennies- welcome! I have a boy from OCt 2008 and we are trying again also! Should be interesting to do IVF with a toddler, great in some ways and tougher on other ways.

margi - I got an appt with acupuncturist today, let me know how yours goes!

klinger - Nancy and Annie - good luck with your trigger and you are in the home run for being PUPO!

crystal - that is normal to adjust meds, don't worry!

blanger - sorry you are in beta hell! Big hugs. Seems like you could have a winner, you never know as long as it keeps going up normally! Keep the faith but be prepared.

Freckles - I am sorry you didn't have any to freeze. I know the feeling. I have no fertility issues and could get pregnant the natural way, but DH has major motility issues. Come to find out I have low antral follicle count! Gee thanks! So got normal eggs, low FSH and everything but not many follicles to work with so never any frosties. It is frustrating but it is ok, I made 10 follies first time and 6 last time. It really only takes one good one. You could very well be preggers don't read into symptoms at all, you could have them and not be pregnant just like you could have no symptoms and be pregnant. Keep the PMA!

kynlee - good luck and keep us posted, hopefully you can cycle soon and be back with us. Big hugs.

AFM - just counting the days and jealous as heck of the girls who are already doing some IVF ;) jealous in a good way! Even my IVF machine friend Tammy has skipped ahead of me, I need to bring her to my appts!!! ;) Living vicariously through you!
