Krisnjer- sorry for my delay. Congrats on a great ER! Looks like you are on your way to your BFP!

Regarding the acupuncture, I started it before my ivf cycle started. I continue all the way through beta day. I also will continue when I'm pregnant. :). I will go twice a week during stims. And the day before and after transfer. I might also do the acupuncture that my clinic offers on site right before/after transfer. Although I didn't do that the last time and still got preggers. I would ask any potential acupuncturist if they know how to treat an IVF patient. How many patients have they treated. What were the results. Hope this helps!

Hey gals, sounds like some really good things are going on here. So exciting. :)

I got all my meds as of today...and I have to say I am so thankful for the nurses at the RE's office. They are so awesome and looking out for me. Since I am out of pocket for everything they really helped me out with some meds this time...they will never know how much this means to me. After everything we have been through this year, it is a little blessing that they are giving me. I am looking so forward to starting the meds, and getting off the pill, I start Lupron Monday. They did decide to not raise my dosage, so my RE lost out, and her Daddy over-rode her. I am feeling really good about this cycle, and am praying for a beautiful little miracle or two. Can't wait! Retrieval will be right around the 15th. Ready to get this party started. :)

Hope things continue to look great for us all.

Kerenthescorpio ---- I admire you I was always too chicken to try acupuncture and now that we are at FET I am afraid to add anything new but I am meditating and I take long walks through our neighborhood in the mornings which is sooooo therapeutic. We live in a great area Bucks county PA and now the leaves have changed all the different colors and the way sunlight hits the leaves in the morning looks like magic :) In all honesty it looks like a Thomas Kincade painting and I am a huge fan so I find my walks most helpful to reduce my stress level. Plus I am scared of pain

Biachon ----Don't worry RE knows what he/she is doing. Congrats on having many follies and mine were about the same size as yours and they were mature so please don't worry you will have wonderful follies :)

Leorira I am glad the nice panties had some benefit :D I am thinking about you and sending you my AF vibes so soon we will both be PUPO and then PG :) As for me the white pants never fail even if my AF is not do it will still rear its ugly head if I wear white or plan a vacation :) In spite of careful planning I had my period on my wedding and the whole first week of honeymoon (we took 2 weeks for honeymoon)

AFM AF is HERE!!!! :D :D :D baseline tomorrow

They got 17 eggs! I am feeling ok but my left side is really sore (the left side had a lot more eggs than the right side). Dr sent home some pain meds and said to watch for signs of OHSS. Hopefully everything will be okay :) I don't feel bloated and have been drinking water like crazy so I think I am ok. They said tentatively I would have ET on Sunday but of course I won't know anything until we see how well my ladies and my DH boys got along at the big dance today. My husband said that he put "Be careful these boys are rowdy" on the label of his sample today. Glad he could see the humor in all that went on today especially when he said he was pretty worried about me today. ahhhhh

I am a little late in joining the group but am excited to have some "friends" to chat with. I am in the process of waiting to do a FET in a few weeks. I just stopped my BCP yesterday and now will wait for AF. I am only going to be doing estrogen patches and prog.in oil and then the transfer. Has ony one else done this? This is my first FET. We are looking at the week of 11/8 for the FET. We were blessed with a baby boy back in Dec. 2008 with IVF and now want a playmate for him

welcome!!

Annashope- Congrats on AF. I know how funny that sounds but I also know an anxious you get waiting and how exciting it is to move to the next step of the process.

jennieswa- Welcome. You are never too late to join the support group .

leorira- I know the wait sucks. Just keep hanging in there. At least the nice panties benefited you one way or another though :D.

mellow- Even though they didnt decide to raise the dosage I think its still going to be a great month! Exciting to be starting the Lupron soon!

krisjner- Congrats on the great number of eggs!! Any updates on how the big dance went and how many you are going to transfer sunday?

bichon-Congrats, sounds like you have some great follicles!!

AFM- Went to first accupunture session on Tuesday...not bad. Obviously the needles are nothing compared to all the needles associated with IVF. After she put them in it almost felt like energy rushing to those spots. She left me in the room to relax for 20 minutes and then took them out and sent me on my way. I did end up with a little bruise from one of them on my hand, but it didnt hurt. I go back next week, and then the day of the transfer I will go before and after the transfer. I know someone mentioned going through testing, but Im not sure how many more sessions I will do. Even though it is nice, its also somewhat expensive ($80 a session). If it works I am all for it though. I have still been doing Lupron and started Estrogen pills and shots yesterday. The Delestrogen took about 5 minutes just to draw up in the syringe, and went in somewhat slow (probably because I was using 25 gauge- but im ok with slow). It didnt leave me as sore as the Progesterone does so Im hoping that continues to be the case.

The waiting game!! I know this is just the beginning of the journey but just cant help feeling ahhhhhhhh!

Just came back from RE, did US/BW, have one big 13mm follicle since 4 days, after increasing Lupron from 10 to 20 units, its still there. If my estrogen is still high today, then my cycle will be canceled.

I will know more in about 3/4 hours, this wait is killing me. I want to do this cycle!!!

My tsh was 9, 3 days ago, bumped up dose from 75 to 125 mcg, hopefully it will get lower quickly! This happened in both the previous cycles, I think BCP work against my thyroid meds.

Just consoling myself, whatever happens, happens for the best.

The wait is killing me, anyone feel like that? Argh come on already, some blood work, stab me with a needle something!!!! But nothing is killing me! While I have been waiting to cycle my good buddy on the other thread cycled 3 times! Good things come for those who wait right? I have been telling myself that!

Hi girls great news baseline and ultrasound went great and here we go :D I am so excited to start and yes very nervous. My sister found out she is having a little girl and she wanted a boy so I had to stand there and comfort her while she cried...ugh it was insane especially since we were pregnant together and I miscarried and she is now 20 weeks....ugh I would give anything to have a little girl I can't believe she cried over the baby not being a boy.

Krisnjer ---wow 11 is great good luck

Riogirl I know what you mean about waiting I am so happy to be able to start finally...I mean it took 3 months since my m/c. I would love to post pics but I cannot figure out how any advice?

babydreams I am sorry about the wait but we are here for you if you need to vent and you will be there really soon

Blair----how are the shots coming. I can't wait till we are all pupo and getting our bfps

Sdtrying--how are you? how are things coming along. You and I are on the same schedule right?

Mellow---how are you?

Quick crash:
Annashope: Woohoo for AF, and for a great baseline...get ready to start on your road to BFP!! This one is it for us! :D
Speaking of which.....Mellow: How are you doing? Thanks for your well wishes. I am doing great! Trying to relax and think positively after my procedure today.

And PS: Acupuncture today for the first time...I was really scared, but it all went well! Only one needle hurt and she took it out and redid it and all was well. Compared to the needles we IVF ladies are used to, they shouldn't even call them needles. And I felt so relaxed afterwards....I would highly recommend it...
