Well beta limbo is finally over. Af arrived this morning
and she is not being very nice at all to me :(
I'm just thankful I didn't have to take anything to get af
and that I get to pass everything on my own.
Moving forward.. Were going to meet with the doctor soon
to discuss our game plan. We have five frozen embies left
so we are probably on our way to another fet.
looking forward to hearing some good news on this board
really soon...

I'm so happy to hear all the great stories lately. I know a lot of us are in limbo too. I am 11dpo and I took another test last night. A very strong negative. I know I need to keep away from these tests. Do you all think it could still be too early???? I go on Tuesday for my beta so I figured if I was pregnant I'd see a little line on the other side???? What are your opinions. I'm really not doing well and I'm so upset over all of this. From a HORRIBLE ER and then no frosties, I'm just down in the dumps. I don't have any symptoms anymore and I'm sitting right now with my two step-daughters....thinking about how wonderful it would be to have one of my own. Also, being that we don't have frosties, it's going to cost a fortune to begin again and we really don't have the money to begin another cycle until a year or so. Bills do roll in!!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I'm trying to keep hope but I think this isn't my time. :?

Kaylie: Don't give up yet!!!! Tuesday is still a ways a way and lots of women have little to no symptoms...the HPTs can be helpful when they give you a BFP early, but often they are negative up until the day of your beta and you could still get a positive. Everyone's levels are different. Try to relax--I know--easier said than done!--and distract yourself. Try to do fun things this weekend and wait until Tuesday before throwing in the towel...in a week or so you are gonna need to be replaying this message to me! The 2ww is sooooo challenging.

Baby dust your way!!!

Krys - I'm so sorry hun. Beta limbo is just awful so I'm glad you can start to heal and move forward. You're in my thoughts.

Kaylie - It definitely could be too early. I'll keep up the hope and positive thoughts that beta day is going to give you great results!

Margi - Thanks! And I'm so glad you are PUPO!! And hope you don't mind the company because I'm coming to join you in crazytown tomorrow.

Just got the call from the nurse a few minutes ago. All 3 embies are still growing and we'll be doing a 3dt tomorrow morning at 9:30!! Hopefully all 3 will still be going strong tomorrow but I tell you, I am just so relieved and excited that we'll be doing the transfer tomorrow! Let my stay in crazytown begin tomorrow!! :D

Krys - I'm so sorry to hear about what you're going through. I will be praying for you during this trying time...

Kaylie - From what I've been told, HPTs are most reliable 7 - 10 days after a missed period. And where we are in our cycles, a period wouldn't have been missed yet. I just have a feeling when you get your results on Tuesday, you're gonna be so relieved and laugh at your POAS experience.

Amanda - I'm so happy for you! I will be looking for an update on how ET went first thing tomorrow :D

Margi - Woo hoo for PUPO!!!

afm- Well....

Okay, so I'm trying not to panic...

But, I just put in my hormones and my cervix is low and hard... :( WTF??? I haven't felt it at all since I've been putting those things in there and now it's right where it's NOT supposed to be! I feel like crying...

Some stuff I found when I was googling sounded promising... Like that you can't use that as a sign of early pregnancy because it takes various amounts of time for it to get high and soft from woman to woman. Could it have stayed high and soft from the ER that long? I've read it comes back down after "ovulation" then back up when estrogen levels from pregnancy kick in...

Anyone with ANY info??? I don't wanna give up hope, but don't wanna hold onto false hope...

Freckles; I know it's difficult, but many women don't get bfp's until much later. Every person metabolizes differently. Once the embryo implants, it only then begins to secrete hcg into the bloodstream. It's only after that happens when it begins to absorbe into the bloodstream, and then doubles every 48 hours. So if you had implantation three days after your transfer, and had detectable hcg in your bloodstream four days after your transfer, it might take a day or more for it to get into your bloodstream, and a day or more to double enough to be detectable. That takes you up to 13dpo... the biggest percentage of women who get bfps hits a peak at 13.4 dpo.

I'm feeling a bit guilty because we are on the same time line and I got a bfp a few days ago, but believe me, I am not out of the woods yet - this has happened twice before and both times were early miscarriages... and you are not nearly at the point to be able to give up completely. If you are still getting stark negatives at 14dpo I'd be worried, but honestly, you still need to depend mostly on your beta. It sucks that you didn't get any frosties to rely on. I hope you are able to distract yourself and enjoy your day as much as possible.. I know time is crawling for you. We are here, though, and we do understand.

Klinger - so happy to hear your embryos are all doing well! I think it's great they are doing a 3dt - too much risk to wait until day 5, and I read about a TON of bfps with 3dt!!!

klinger/amanda- yay...i'm so happy for you! that is awesome news! you'll be pupo really soon- this time tomorrow! grow embabies grow! thanks for moving me on the list.

kaylie- i'm sorry you're feeling down. it is still too early. there have been women who got a negative on an hpt the day of their beta & they were preggo. i'm a little confused though. was your et on the 12th or th 15th? the schedule says the 15th? so if you start counting as of the 16th, you are only 8dpt. if you look on the chart below, you still have 3 more days to go until the hcg will be detected by an hpt, & even then, it's not always detectable. your beta is kind of early too. you said you're 11dpo, but you can't look at it that way; you have too look at it from the transfer perspective. pma, pma, pma!

**this is what happens in a 3dt :

1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing
2dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
3dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
4dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
5dpt.. Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
6dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
7dpt.. Morula is completely inmplanted in the lining and has placenta cells &
fetal cells
8dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
9dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
10dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
11dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on HPT

krys- i'm so sorry about everything you've been through! i'm glad though af is here (not that she is being a pain though), & you can have some closure w/ this cycle from hell & move on. keep up the pma! when do you plan on meeting w/ your doc?

osie- 1st of all...44 eggs???? that is truly amazing! your fert report is awesome too! 14...that's a lot to work w/. so how many will you be transferring & when?

kynlee- i've never had to do that, but i just wanted to say good luck. i'm praying that this fet coming up will be the one!

karen- i'm w/ you....i CANNOT wait to move over to the preggo section w/ everyone!

karian- welcome! i'm doing the af dance for you! will you be on follistim for your stims?

margi- woohoo for dh's perfect delivery! so you're pupo!!! i've got everything crossed for you!

annie- i'm sorry you're feeling upset, but just like the others have said..you've got 2 strong emababies! although, i know exactly how you feel b/c during my last 2 cycles, i had the same thing happen...when the re's office called, we were told 2 fertilized...it was really scary b/c it makes you feel like you have no hope. although the 2 cycles were unsiccessful, we still have to be hopeful. i'm praying for you! have you heard anything else?

babyblu- you're almost there! how are you feeling?

karin- yes, i started lupron yesterday...woohoo!!! fingers crossed that we'll be pupo & getting bfp's together!!!

nancy- you did good! 10 out of 14 fertilizing...awesome! can't wait to hear what today's news is!

sonya- is it too early to congratulate you? what did today's poas look like? good luck on tuesday!

lauren- yay for the green light on starting stims! good luck on monday's sns.

crystal- so sorry about your follies getting smaller. what were the results of the e2? i hope you didn't get cancelled.

teresa- how are you feeling mama?

ryann- good luck on monday's appointment!

victoria- daisy is so freakin adorable! we have a boxer, but she'll be 11 in february....she's our old lady! i'm praying that the clomid & metiforim will do the trick!

starwishes- welcome! your 2ww is almost over.....good luck on monday!

jennie- welcome! congrats on your little boy & i hope this fet brings you your 2nd miracle & a sibling for him!

tess- good luck on your u/s on tuesday!

macfamily- congrats on your bfp! did you have a 2nd beta?

Krys; I am really sorry to hear that things didn't work out. It's hardest when it lingers on and on like that. I had two blighted ovums... my betas were great - I had all the symptoms, but nothing at all when we had the ultrasound. Just empty sacs. I'm so sorry. I am praying your FETs go great!

ok ladies, so i didn't get my baby-in-a-box until tuesday, but it's here! it didn't get delivered on saturday like it was supposed to b/c of some storm & fedex couldn't get it here on time. no biggie though! so i had b/w yesterday & got the call for the green light to start lupron. so i started it last night & i have a few questions:

1) it doesn't need to be refrigerated, right?

2) it says it's a 14-day supply, but it seems like there's such a little amount in there. i'm on 10 units/day. is this normal?

3) do the side effects kick in pretty quickly? i only did 1 injection last night & i'm SO tired & have a headache, although i also stopped the coffee.

4) we did the injection at 7. can we do it at like 6:15 tonight? what's the window? i know w/ follistim, we were told an hour beforfe or an hour after was ok.

5) so af is due this friday, but when the nurse called yesterday to leave me a message that i can start lupron, she said i should get it in about 11 days, which would be the following tuesday. oh boy, that's novemeber 2nd- my birthday, lol! does that mean af is delayed slightly due to the lupron?

6) is 10 units the normal amount? i've heard of some women needing to be cancelled due to lupron. now, i won't be monitored until af starts, so how would they know if this may be happening?

thanks so much for your answers in advance, as i've never taken lupron.

Moorebaby; My tests are getting darker and darker, but they were so early that even doubling every 48 hours doesn't give me a huge amount of hcg in my system at this early stage.

I always get freaked out if the tests are not totally darker than the one before. I'm retarded enough that I took one this morning after taking one last night and omg.. it's not that much darker.... but seriously.. I most likely only had about 25mg measurable hcg yesterday, so just a few hours later (about 12) it's going to only have about 6mg more! Okay okay... I know I'm compulsive but nobody's getting hurt and it's kinda like playing the slots when you know you're gonna win.

Do my test photos offend anyone or hurt anyone's feelings? If so, please let me know and I'll remove them right away!!

Hey everyone-
I can't believe how this group keeps growing- more stories to compare to!

Klinger- I know your ET is going to be fantastic!!!!

DandMe- I did the same thing with my tests.... moreso that I couldn't belive that it was actually happening and was scared the lines were going to magically disappear!

Kaylie - I didn't get my bfp until 9dp3dt, and it was super light at that. I had been testing for days and was getting nothing- I was convinced that it was a failed cycle. Turns ot it wasn't :D

AFM, my 2nd beta on Thursday was 393. My doctor said that she felt all numbers were good (progesterone & estrogen included) and would see me again Nov 2nd for the pregnancy scan. She said there was a good possibility we may see the heartbeat (I'll be 6 weeks an 1 day for the appointment). I was surprised that there would not be an additional beta...... I wish I was having one this week just to quell my fears!
