Kaylie: YIIIPPPEEEE !!! What did we tell ya?!?! :D :D :D Congratulations!!!

Ester: Congrats on getting started! Sorry, I don't know anything about Lupron, never took it, but looks like lots of other women have and have answered your questions.

Sonya: Love the pics....I think you may have started something there.. Now if I could ever figure how to post a picture...

macfamily: Excellent!! So exciting..can't wait to hear about your scan on 11/2/10...just a few days before my beta so that will be good motivation for me!

Amanda: Good luck with ET tomorrow. Come on to Crazytown...I'm waitin' for ya!!

Annie: Sending prayers that your other embie catches up...but if not, please keep the PMA up so you can get ready for either one or both.

Nancy: (third part of the trio) Any word today?

Osi: How are you doing? I'm worrying about you and all those eggs....please drink up and rest yourself!!

AFM: I have been waffling about whether or not to go to my high school reunion in two weeks. (friggin 20 yrs...how did that happen?!?!)..I decided today to go so that I can get to see my two grandmothers that live up that way as I haven't seen the one in several years and her health isn't that great. The one concern is that my beta is scheduled for Friday--the day I'd fly to NY. Hm....Take my test, get on a plane, get my results while in NY--away from DH?!?! Not so sure about that one. I had mentioned to the nurse that I might be going out of town and she said it would be ok to come in on Thursday, but then will I just be questioning a low beta? What do you ladies think? I am leaning towards taking the test on Thursday...so I'll have some time to digest the results either way before I leave. I hate that DH can't come with...

Kaylie - yippee for you. It's sounding good. I did my HPT 12dpo so 7dp5dt. It was a pretty faint line too. My BFP was confirmed at my beta two days later.

Krys - I'm relieved to her that beta limbo is over for you, even if it didn't have a happy ending. :( I went through a similar situation during my fresh cycle and it was pretty horrible. I too, was grateful that I miscarried early and didn't need any medical assistance. I got my AF 3-4 days after my miscarriage cleared but waited that month out before my FET to make sure that there wasn't any residual material in my uterus. I'm thinking of you...

Sonya - I love your HPT pics. They're great.

Annie - I'm really hoping that both embies make it to ET. If not, there's no reason why your one embie can't be THE ONE!!

Macfamily - yay for your second beta. That's great. I had four betas in total but have to wait till I'm 7.5 weeks until my u/s. It's been a long wait but Tues is not far away now. If you're really concerned about getting another beta, I'm sure you're clinic will oblige. Think Tammy attitude

Moorebaby - it must be so great to make a start...

Klinger - cool to her all three embies are doing well. All the very best with ET.

Time to get back into that garden....have a lovely day everybody.

Ok....So this is only my second post on here and my first weak attempt at personals. I know I missed a ton of ppl. If I can ever catch up I will try to do better! :)

Krys - So sorry to hear about AF. <<Hugs>> 5 Frozen is great though!

Meinemo & Rydell - You guys are in Chicago? We are in Quincy, about 4.5 hours south west.

Victoria - Daisey is just adorable. Our neighbors have a white boxer. My fur-baby Bailey just turned 7. She was bought at the beginning of my fertility issues. She has been my savior!

macfamily - Congrats!

Nancy - I am TERRIFIED about the PIO shots. I think I will try the ice too once I get to that point. Did you use ice packs or loose ice? How long did you leave it on there for? I too think I will have the nurse draw some circles. Terrified! I read DH your post.....he laughed and told me that if I believed your post then he'd sell me ocean front property in Montana. He's a peach....

Osi - 44 Eggs! Wow!!! And just as great on the 14 that fert! You give me hope!

Sonya - Congrats on your +ive. I read in one of your posts that your doctor told you to eat salty and drink salty. What was that for?

Margie - Congrats on being PUPO!

Moorebaby - Wow that was an impressive personals post you made! You certainly have dedication. I have trouble keeping up! I too can't wait till I get my box! Then again, I am just excited about being able to order it sometime soon. I've read a lot about those Lupron headaches...and quitting coffee at the same time? Ouch. I have been off caffeine now for about 2 weeks. Well, about 97% off it...

Kaylie - Congrats on your pics! I love POAS pics and definately see the line too!

AFM - We had "IVF Orientation" on Friday. Is this a standard at clinics? We had 6 couples in class with us. It was a good class. It amazed me that there were people in there that didn't know a thing about IVF. I guess I have known for years that IVF was my only option, so I have done my homework. One lady was like, "We have to do shots more than once? I thought we only had to give ourselves one shot the entire cycle." LMAO....Wow....The class was good though. We got our meds plan and were able to practice at least the belly shots. Still scared about the muscle shots.

Still waiting for AF. MY cycles vary so much monthly, but my prediction is that she'll show either the 28th or 29th, but I am praying for sooner. I just want to get it all started! This anticipation is killing me, I can't even imagine what the 2ww is going to be like! And DH has banned me from POAS even once!

I know I will have TONS of questions once things get going, so Thanks in Advance!

Kaylie........Congrats! :D So happy for you! Your heart must have skipped a beat when you saw that line!

Macfamily........Congrats Mama! :D

AFM....I love seeing all of the BFP's! Makes me so happy and gives me hope. :D Been really tired all day. Just woke up from a nap. I thought I would rest because we are taking Hannah and a friend to Knotts Scary Farm tonight. It starts at 7pm and is open till 2am. Which means I'll be doing my lupron there. I'm a little concerned about it being too scary. The website says not recommended for kids under 13. She'll be 12 in dec and her friend is only 10 thats going. She says kids in her class have gone. I guess we'll see.

Bakers...

I had 22 eggs at the first cycle and 32 eggs the second cycle. My doctors highly suggested heavily salty liquids/foods to counteract possible OHSS. I never had one tiny bit of OHSS, so I'm thinking that might have had something to do with it? I drank sports drinks, V8 juice and ate potato chips and added salt to my food. It made me thirsty, but I didn't have any other bad side effects.

Quick question......I've never done meds away from home. Should I take the entire bottle and start from the beginning? Or should I load the needle and just take that with me to the park? I was thinking that I would take the whole bottle, load the needle in the parking lot. Leave bottle in the car and get a locker to leave my needle in until time for it at 9pm. Any suggestions? I won't be carrying a purse because it's too much trouble.

Thanks!

Is this the lupron? I'm so sure my doctor insisted on it being refridgerated... My doctor said it loses it's potency if it's not kept in the fridge.

I did think of something that I forgot ask when I did my long post...I see some of you are doing accupuncture. Can you tell me what it is for or what the benefits are? :?:

Also, when you order your meds you get them all at once right? Or do you order them one phase at a time? I was under the impression reading the posts that everyone was ordering them all at once. But DH is arguing with me. :?:

Karin - I know it's probably too late to respond to your post, but when I had to do my Lupron shots at work, my RE suggested not to prefill the syringe. He said it was too risky, that the plunger could get bumped and you lose some of the shot. Just a thought for future injections done away from home.

Kelly - I got all my prescriptions all at once. Good luck with your cycle!!!
