Hey Margi~ I'm doing well. Starting Lupron Sunday instead of Monday now. I'm super excited to start sticking myself with needles again. I think I must have lost it! haha. :) Glad things went well today, praying you get your bfp this time and it's a real sticky one. Thinking I will try acupuncture this time too, my insurance covers it, so why not.

Anna~ Glad to hear things are looking good so far for you. Can't wait for us all to get our good news. :) When will your FET be? I'm sorry to hear about what you are going through with your sister...I would be pretty upset with her. I just found out my sister is pregnant again, she is very excited about it...but, she lent me her maternity clothes last year when I was preg with Johnny, and now needs them back. :( Also, 2 of my cousins are pregnant. It wouldn't seem so hard if we hadn't lost Johnny this year and then a little girl this summer. It's unbelievable what we have been through. I am ready though, and feel really good about moving forward with this cycle. A positive attitude goes a long way in this process, and I am clinging to that, and a lot of hope and faith that it will work this time, and our baby will get to come home with us and will be healthy. Not too much to ask, at least I don't think so.

riogirl~ I so know what you are feeling. It makes you feel like something is happening if needles are involved...hoping it's soon for you!

Where is everyone in this process? I am trying to figure out who is who, and what time frames everyone is in. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Hi Mellow--

I'm so sorry for your losses, it makes me so sad to hear how so many women have suffered so much. I admire your courage to continue on.

AFM- I'm waiting for AF likely on Wednesday and will start estogen patches and day 3 labs Friday. Shooting for FET on Nov 12th. Hoping job stresses won't inhibit my success. Nervous a little about having a new RE, my last was awesome but moved :(

Hoping everyone else is doing well!!

hi ladies! sorry to crash in, but lynnie- i sawyou posted on here and i had to say 'hi'... this is so exciting to come on here and see familiar names from our previous cycles together :D ...it feels like a reunion of sorts and it just warms my heart cause we've all had such hard journey's and so many continue to have hard journeys. i've seen NY4th try, and christo have fun in the last couple days too.

anyways, i'm doing a FET with our only 2 frosties... transfer date likely around oct 30. but i go for u/s monday and find out more.

although i'm so blessed already with a son, i feel such a strong drive to have another child. the last year has been such a blessing that i just want a bigger family. if this doesn't work i'll be pretty stressed out cause i've never 'technically' responded well to treatment...our son really is a miracle based on my very low ovarian reserve.. so the idea of doing a fresh cycle if the FET doesn't work, at my age, stresses me out.

best of luck to all you ladies..may you have hope and a higher power on your side. and lynnie- you're doing a fresh cycle?

Hi November Buddies. This is my first visit to the forum. November will be our first Donor Egg IVF. We started 2010 hoping for adoption, but found it was surprisingly difficult to find a baby. Not that IVF is a simple matter either, but we have decided to give it a try. When I look at the large number of people posting to this forum, I feel in good company and not alone. My prayers will be for all of us to have healthy babies in 2011. Lets Go Girls!!

To Blessedmomof1thruIVF~ This is going to be my first try at IVF (2 failed IUI's this summer) and we are hoping for a retrieval/transfer in late Nov. I should start my BCP around the 29th. SO nrevous but really excited too. Did you conceive your son from IVF? We are doing a mini IVF since our problem is blocked tubes. We have 2 beautiful daughters we conceived on our own (we never knew how easy we had it ), they are 8 & 13. Luck and prayers to you on this new cycle!

Eggandaprayer

I sooooooo understand you. It is so good to see another person who has been down adoption route and gotten disapointed. (Not that I am happy that you had trouble just great to find understanding) DH and I also went from infertility into adoption bypassing IVF a year ago and after all the money on the agency and homestudy and so on and here we are without a baby. I thought that IVF was hard but adoption is unbelievably hard. We spent so much of our strength we spent thousands to fix up our house and build onto it and then the 17k for the adoption agency plus the homestudy which for us was terrible ---our case worker was a bitter and terrible woman who told us that by adopting we will never feel fulfilled and that since our child will be adopted they will always feel lonely and need therapy for the rest of their life and that adoption was a sad journey and it was a shame that some people had to go through it. After that DH and I just sat and cried. I mean we couldn't even talk about it for a couple of weeks because of the sheer amount of effort we put forth attending classes and everything. So in June we went into IVF and as you can see by my signature it sorta worked ( we m/c) but we didn't give up on adoption I just don't know what it takes to find a baby. We were afraid to go the international route because those programs sometimes unexpectedly close down so we went with a domestic program and now a year later we are literally no closer to having a baby than we were a year ago. Ugh sorry to vent but when I think about it it just breaks my heart. If I had to do it over I wouldn't have invested the money but now we can't get the money back and so here we are hoping for a miracle.

Anyways welcome and we are happy to have you

wow, y'all are scaring me. Adoption is our last resort if this doesn't work (or we run out of energy for it). With all of my losses, I'm having trouble believing that even getting pregnant was enough. I don't understand that women get pregnant and have babies. Being pregnant is just a pre-courser for loss and pain to me.

I've been thinking more and more about adopting (my own mother is adopted, so I understand some of the dynamic). I know that adopting is really hard too.... I just am almost at the end of my rope with the IVF..... our plan is to use our last 2 frosties and then take a break from the IVF, probably starting an adoption process...

As for my cycle - STILL waiting on AF. I know that most people don't get a period until their beta hits zero - but I was hoping to be early! If my half-life rates continue - I should be around 7-8 at my blood test on Tuesday - and should start my period within the week! yay!

@eggsandprayer - Welcome. I was on an IVF broad when we went through IVF the first time back in Feb 2008. It helped a lot beginning with other ladies that are going through something similar but with their own story at the same time. Good luck Girl!! Keep us posted on your journey!

@easley4 - Sounds like we're going to go through this at the same exact time!! I conceived my little girl through IVF. We have no frozen embryo left so we have to start the whole process over. Our retrieval was tentatively schedule for the week of Nov 22 but the Dr is on vaca so it's schedule for the week of the 29th! Congrats on your daughters and good luck on your cycle!

@Sdtrying - Thanks!

We're taking an injection class Tuesday morning!! My DH will be working days and nights for the next 3 weeks! I might have to give myself my own shots unless we can do them in the morning instead of night ... Is everyone taking their injections at night? I'll ask the Dr on Tuesday morning but just trying to figure out what our options are now...
