Had the baseline this morning, everything looked great and they told me to start the Estrogen patches and Estradiol Suppositories. We decided 100% to transfer 3 frost babies. I have 5 total frozen so if something goes wrong we will still have 2 left. BUT nothing is going to go wrong!!

So it sounds like you and I are 1 day apart! It's getting close 16 more days for me, 17 for you! I am getting nervous, I am eating everything in site LOL. It's so hard to be patient I have no idea how I am going to survive the 2ww.

How funny SDtrying and Jen. :) Eat something sweet and salty for me, and extra chewy....I'm not able to eat anything except soft stuff lately. I made my life more difficult by getting braces at the beginning of this month. I am regretting that decision. haha, I knew I would right after I did it. Oh well! My teeth still hurt 3 weeks later. It's great to have other ladies to go through this with, not many can understand what we are going through. Good luck to you two. :D

Wow I need to check in more often so it doesnt take so long for me to catch up on posts. With work, and getting my Masters I dont feel like I have as much free time anymore. I would do personals but I think it would actually take longer to make sure I was saying the right thing to the right person.

Congrats to everyone who did retrievals and transfers already. Sounds like everyone had a lot of good eggs, and will end up with a BFP very soon. If you didnt have any frosties stay positive...this cycle will work and you wont even need them.

AFM- Still doing the Lupron and Estrogen. Estrogen shots are still going great compared to the PIO....but here lately I have felt different. Not sure if its a mix of both but I have lost almost all my appetite, and considering I usually snack every 2 hours thats a big deal. I also get waves of complete nausea before I even force myself to eat something. Hoping its just regular side effects to the meds. I will be increasing my estrogen pills today, and then another accupuncture visit tomorrow. Just trying to make it through to the appt 11/4....and hopefully the transfer 11/8. If they all thaw we will be transferring all 3 frosties that we have left.

Mellow4 - I start Lupron on Friday! We have our injection class this morning...

Krisnjer - Gooluck! I can understand being upset about no frosties. We didn't have any either from our first cycle but hello 2 blasts! I never heard them grading blasts but I think having a blasts period is great! I remember when I had a blast my Dr said it was ready to go to kindengarding. Good luck and keep us posted!

Riogirl- good luck hun! Status update ET - 11/29

LisaB75- Goodluck!!

AFM- DH and I have our injection class this morning, Meds are being delivered to our home tomorrow so I took the day off to wait for them and starting Lupron on Friday!

I do have an issue. My SIL has been TTC for 4 years. She got pregnant in April 2010 and lost the baby in July 2010. She had 4 attempts at ICU and will going through her 4th attempt this month. I told her that my DH and I will be trying soon a few weeks ago. I wanted to be sensitive to her and her DH situation and didn't want to just come out and announce a pregnancy (god welling) with her going through this without her knowing that we are trying. We obviously have our share of problems as well as we are going through IVF. She said she was ok with it but I can tell she was upset about it. Not sure what to do. We postponed our cycle originally scheduled for August because they lost the baby the month before and couldn't do that to them. But know that she's trying again my dh and i thought it was ok to continue with growing our family. If she wasn't trying this month I would have waiting longer but since they are trying I thought i would be ok for us to continue. Thoughts? Am i being insensitive? I don't know what good timing would be in this situation. Other factors to consider - 1.) we might only have insurance through Dec because my husband carries the fertility insurance and he usually gets laid off for the winter. 2.) I would insane hours Feb-Apr and Aug-Sept and don't want to be in the first trimester during that time period

Hi BlessedMom - if you ask me you most definitely are NOT being insensitive. It sounds like you already postponed your cycle once due to their loss which was a very touching thing to do! Plus what you said about insurance coverage, etc... sounds like doing this now would be best. Your SIL situation is very unfortunate and very sad and I feel for her because all of us with IF know how hard this all is... but you still have to live your life, know what I mean? If you really feel that bad, maybe you could go thru it quietly and when you get a BFP wait for a little while to announce it? Just my thoughts..good luck with everything :)

So it looks like I have some form of OHSS. My stomach as been bloated since ER. I look like I'm 4-5 months pregnant. I have stabbing pain in my abdomin at times. I have been drinking Gatorade and now am trying to eat some preztel rods and they state there is 400 mg of sodium in 3 rods so I'm trying to eat about 9 - 10 now. RE called this morning to tell us that we were being pushed out to a 5 day transfer but we might have to freeze everything if this doesn't get better. I'm not vomiting, nor do I have a fever, but this bloating is embrassing and can really uncomfortable & painful at times. I'm lucky I can work from home because I work with a bunch of women who you know will notice. I guess I should have expected this with 35 eggs but I was really hoping it wouldn't happen.

Have any of you ladies had OHSS and do you remember if you RE let you still do the transfer? Is there any chance that I will get better between today and Thursday? My DH usually had pickles around and for the first time that I actually need them there are none in sight. Another question, am i just wasting my time drinking all this gatorade and eating salty foods? Besides, me eating more, my weight hasn't changed that much so I'm hoping its only a moderate case. Oh, I do have a U/S and BW scheduled for today at 11 to see, I was just curious from my ladies if you have any thoughts or insights if you have been here before. I didn't have this with my other 2 cycles. This one was best ever and was hoping it would continue.

crap crap crap fickedy crap. I got my period. I knew this was going to happen, 28 days after I finished my first pack of pills and went on to have AF even though I was still taking another active pack. I have a baseline US and AFC scheduled for Thursday, meds come tomorrow and I was supposed to start my cycle on the #2 day after my period.

Have any of you girls done a cycle with no BCP? This is my first one and I am trying to figure out if I am canceled until late November or can I start sooner? I have a call in but I think the doctor is gone in a conference and I am freaking out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I posted this on the fall board too hoping anyone would have some answers...

Bichon - I am sorry you got OHSS, yickes. I never had it but be very careful and call the RE or go to the emergency room, you need to watch it carefully. Best luck hun!

blessed mom - I think you are very considerate but you need to get on with your cycle and watch out for yourself. You postponed it once and that was sweet, maybe wait to tell her the good news but don't postpone it again. If it was her you would understand her trying right? You are very sweet but I say go for it!!!

sorry for the lack of more personals, I am freaking out...

BichonMom- sorry to hear about OHSS. My Dr recommended V-8 or tomato juice and gatorade bc I was at risk for OHSS. I hope you will be able to do a 5dt. Keep us posted.

Rio--I hope you get good news from the Dr office.

This whole IVF thing is a rollercoaster. My AF arrived 5 days earlier then they had planned. So I ran to the lab to get my estradiol and progesterone checked. I get my meds delivered tomorrow (fingers crossed they get here!) and she said that I can start stimms tomorrow pending my blood results! The RE is gone until Thrusday (the nurse is the one telling me to go ahead) so I can only do US on Thursday and hopefully no cysts and I get the go ahead, if not I stimm for two days and get canceled So I need your good thoughts and prayers for good blood results and clear US with lots of follies so I can start my journey with you girls!!!

Riogirl71 - sending you good thoughts and many prayers! Keep us posted

Updated from appt - the RE said I have no fluid in my abdomen and he said that I'm having a normal reaction to ER. So, we shall see what happens on Thursday. If I'm still not feeling well, I might push to have the embie frozen. I can't remember who said it but this is truly a crazy rollercoaster. I'm going to lay down for a bit now.

Wow so much going on today!

Rio~ I have no idea what they will have you do...but I pray your labs come back showing everything is okay and you can go ahead. At my RE's they do allow women to go forward having not been on the pill the month before, but only if they were suppressed early enough with Lupron or such. You are in my thoughts...don't freak out yet, wait until you have all the info. :) Praying!

Bichonmom~ I had OHSS after my IVF last year. My last E2 level was 7400 before the retrieval, which is super high...but I didn't get canceled. If you are still worried about it developing, this is what they told me to do. Eat lots and lots of protein...the protein will absorb the extra fluids. So that and the gatorade and salty stuff worked wonders for me. It is very uncomfortable, and very, very embarrassing. I know what you mean about already looking 4-5 months along, and people do notice. Rest up and eat some fresh pineapple, it makes your lining nice and sticky. Good luck! Keep us posted.

Blessed~ Good luck with starting up Friday! Try not to worry about moving forward and who it will offend. You cannot put your life on hold because of someone elses pain. Take this from a mother who's son passed away this year...my sister is expecting and I wouldn't have wanted her to put her life on hold because something bad happened to me. It would be insensitive for me to expect that...so if they do from you, be mindful of it, but never apologize for continuing to live your life and your dreams. Hang in there...loss is tough and you can still be supportive while moving ahead. :)

AFM~ Just puttering along, and waiting for the next step. Went to bed with a headache last night, and woke up with it this morning. I'm guessing it's from the Lupron? Never had anything like it before. It could just be stress...we met with lawyers yesterday about our lawsuit against the hospital and pediatrician because of the loss of our son. Likely a stress headache. UGH.

Lots of love and prayers going out to all of you!
