AFM-I'm still counting the days until my appointment. I do have a phone consult today to find out what I will be having done on next week and to give them some prelim info about my cycle. So we'll see how that goes.

AFM- I got a BFN on MOnday, I was down for a couple days but went and talk to my Dr today and we are going ahead for my next round of Frosties... I start meds once AF comes... I am not giving up I am going to be strong and going to get Pregnant

Kynlee-I'm so sorry to hear about your BFN. I was hoping for the best. You're such a trooper to do this again!! I know it's going to work out for you next time!! I'm sending tons of POSITIVE energy your way.

AFM- I'm starting something next week after my appointment they just haven't told me anything other than I'm going to be 'suppressed'. I'm still trying to figure that one out. I'll keep googling. Be sure to keep us posted with the progress!

I am so new to this but I think supressed is when they are getting your ovaries to produce more eggs and stop you from ovulating on your own.... But I could be wrong... What meds are you going on?

I started my meds tonight and go for us Nov 1st hoping for my 2nd frozen cycle transfer Nov 6th...

Hi everyone, sry I haven't been on for ages, jus a quick update, had my egg collection, they got 16 eggs which 11 fertilized today is day 3 and they have just called me to say all of the 11 embryos are very strong so I am goin on to day 5! I was only goin to put 1 back in but am debating on if I shud put too now!! Anyway, il kno more Monday!

I hope everyone is doin well, I didn't have time to read the whole thread, has anyone tested yet? Due to test soon?
Haven't heard from nearlyder who I'm sure tested last week!?

Kynlee-How's it going with the meds? What kind of meds are they? Your u/s is coming soon. I'm excited for you!!

Phyona-That is really great news!! 11 still going strong onto day 5, that's super news!! Have you considered two and the possibilities of multiples? My DH is very hesitant but I would prefer two if I have that option. Keep us posted.

AFM-I had my consult this morning and my RE did not give me a plan yet. She did schedule me for a HSG for next week. She has recommended a hysterectomy after I get pregnant and deliver which is what I've been told in the past so I was prepared to hear that. So I'll research the HSG and follow up with the RE for a plan after the test. So I'm not apart of the IVF gang just yet. I'm pretty anxious to get started and was kinda bummed that I didn't get a plan today.

Hi Justsolost,

I had my ET on Monday at Blastocyst stage and decided to just have one! I had 8 strong embryos left on day 5 so they are freezing 7!

I did consider 2 eggs being put back in, but as much as i do really want to get pregnant, i dont think i could handle or afford twins! We did talk about it right up untill the day but both dedided one was better, the clinic also advised we just have one!

I do My test on Friday 5th Nov so cant wait! Time seams to be going so slow!!

It does all take time, they told me last October that I could start this process and its only just happened now due to other complications, and operations!! So dont be dissapointed if it takes longer than you first thought! Just use the time to prepare yourself for it...

I hope it all goes well for you and it all gets started soon

Phyona- That is great news:) & excellent that you had so many to freeze... You are now pupo... The 2ww seems like forever... Keep yourself busy so you dont go crazy thinking to much

Justsolost- I am doing estrace right now get U/S Monday to see if I can have transfer Fri Nov6th... Hopefully Say lots of prayers for me the Dr made me feel that this FET may not work since the first FET didnt, but I didnt want to give up on my last 6 frosties so I am holding onto hope... You will have a plan soon, sometimes we think everything will happen right away but there is always a curve in the road... You will be here before you know it

Phyona-That is really great to have 7 strong embryos after 5 days, oh mylanta!! But I'm praying that all goes well and your little one is growing as I type so those other 7 can stay on ice for a while. I'm so excited for you and waiting to hear the great news in 2 weeks. Is that when you get to do the test? Is that a beta test?

Kynlee-I'm not sure what 'estrace' means so I've got to research that but that's cool about the transfer. The 6th will be here before you know it. I'm praying really hard for you and the FET, we all know the Dr's don't know it all. So I'm sending tons of prayers and postive thoughts your way.

AFM-I'll just keep up with you ladies until I get started on my end. I've been reading the other forums as well trying to keep up with what everything means. So I look forward to hearing the good news from you ladies.

I think next week I'll use the voice recorder feature on my cell phone to record her. That way I can make sure I remember what she said so I can google it.
Do you know if you get the results from the HSG while they're doing the procedure? I'm hoping it's not something that I'll have to wait days for results on.

Kynlee, Im sorry to hear about the BFN and that the doctor said it may not work this time with the Frozen as it didnt work before! That must be so hard to hear and dont think is good for them to say that, but my thoughts and prayers are with you and I really hope it all goes well (Fingers crossed ), im doing my test on the day you have your transfer, if it is next friday to go in for your FET?

Jus out of interest did you have a fresh embryo put in to begin with? How many did you have put in and how far along were the ones they froze?

Oh yea an what does Pupo mean??

This 2ww seems like its going on forever and I feel so nervous as the time goes on any lil pain i have makes me worry!! Roll on next friday!!!

Justsolost, thanks for your support and positivity!! I am doing the text a week toaday! Its a pee on a stick test the hospital provide you with to do at home, better than those you buy over the counter alot more sensative! If its positive, which im playing it is... then i go for a scan 2 weeks after that...

i am from melbourne australia..i assume we have similar protocols..i did the clomid thing and nothing..so went to ivf. apparantly i am not reacting to the drugs as expected - we are up to cycle 4

justsolost- Thats a good idea to voice record that way you can replay if you missed something As for HSG They talked to me during test and then my Dr told me the same thing the HSG Dr said to reconfirm I new everything was good... So I am guessing they will tell you the same day...

Phyona- Unfortunately I never had a fresh cycle yet, My first fresh cycle I got OHSS so they had to wait till my next AF and then about 7 weeks after ER I had my first FET... I believe they were all 3 day... I had 14 that they froze but when they did my 1st cycle and had to defrost 2 they ended up having to defrost 8 to get me 2 fair ones, that is why my Dr isnt so hopeful I guess, but I didnt want to waste the last 6 so I am defrosting all 6 and tranferring the best 2... You never know what can happen I am staying positive As for pupo it stands for pregnant until proven otherwise Best of luck next friday, the 2weeks is crazy but I stayed as busy as possible so I didnt think about it to much

Sorry I havent been on for a while, being on here actually makes it harder during the 2ww.... im soo nervous now... especially now i only have 2 days left and ive started spotting light brown since this morning... im just hoping and praying that this is not a sign of worse things to come
