Annashope-- What??!!??? That is the most twisted thing I've heard. I mean, I totally get it when people are critical about IVF. Really, it is a pretty controversial thing, I get that. But suggesting that you go get pregnant by another man, is bizarre. Are they saying it in jest? (not that it makes it any better) Please tell me that your DH isn't aware, that would break my heart to think of how hurt he would feel.....ugh, so sorry to hear.

I had my baseline u/s today and bloodwork. Everything is on track. No cysts in the ovaries and estogen is okay. They told me to up to 4 patches. I don't know if that is good/bad or neither just the normal deal. I didn't ask was the actually number was....I'm on for a lining check on Nov 2nd.

eggandaprayer wrote:Disappointment today. Egg donor cancelled. There will be no cycle this month for us. We had really gotten attached to having this particular donor because she was a great match for our family, so many similarities and things in common. It is a loss. But Ladies, we have all had our disappointments and we must carry on, because the alternatives, falling into a big depression, or worse, giving up, is just not an option. We must keep trying for babies. So we looked over the list and selected a new donor, even though we are not over the old one. We have to move forward. So good luck everyone this month. I am praying for you.
So sorry, Egg. I hope you find someone that makes you forget very soon!

egg-- so sorry to hear that. I hope you find another donor soon.

anna-WTF?!? How insensitive can people be? (Even if they do happen to be kidding or not). Glad we were here for you to vent! Right after my ET my 2 cousins were kind enough to tell my I am messing with God's plan and wanted to know who got to play God and pick the eggs that got implanted. I love these cousins dearly and I believe in some sick way they were tongue in check but it really was uncalled for especially during such a stressful time. Hang in there us IVF girls are much stronger than whatever they can throw at us.

AFM-- This may be TMI but I am 4dp5dt and tonight I noticed a little blood when I went to pee. It was bright red in color. I'm trying not to be overly sensitive but I am worried and I would just about bet the clinic would say "it is normal". Anyone experience this this far post transfer? I had no spotting directly after ET and this is the first sign of blood. Have been crampy and a little nauseated at times but not to the point like I feel sick. My progesterone level was checked today by my clinic and was found to be within the appropriate range.

Sounds like we are on the same path. Are you on the Vivalle (Sp) patches? They have me doing 3 patches every Mon, Wed, Friday. I think between 3-4 is normal. My lining check is on November 3rd--- transfer on the 10th as long as all the levels are good. I am praying they are good! I have re-arranged work twice to accomodate the November 10th FET date. Are you on the Estradiol Supp.?

kris~ I had spotting at that point...it was from implantation. This could be great news for you...try not to stress about it. Do you know by chance what your progesterone was at?

Anna~ I cannot believe anyone would ever suggest that to you. Craziness! Oh the things we IVF girls endure. So glad you have an outlet to get it all out. Imagine if we didn't have this, we would indeed be crazy in our own heads. Keep your chin up!

AFM~ More headaches! I'm not a fan. Hopefully it will be gone by morning.

Thinking of you all, sorry I haven't had time to do more personals, this group has become so huge! You are all a great group of gals, and I am so thankful to have you all by my side as we walk this journey. :)

kris- I only had spotting once during a 2ww and it was BFN. There is absolutely no way to tell if your spotting is okay or not. You just have to wait. Sorry!

Mellow and Anna - thanks for the words of support. It means a lot to me.

Anna- It's been suggested (by several people - some joking, some not) that I just cheat on my husband when I know I'm ovulating. There is actually a great Heart song called "All I Wanna Do" about a women who picks up a stranger in the rain and has sex with him to concieve a baby her husband can't give her. Thank goodness we have IVF now, right? :)

Eggnadaprayer - wow. That sucks. I'm so sorry. Did she give you a reason? Will she try again another month or she doesn't want to donate at all?

SDtrying - so glad to hear things are going well! I hope I'm in your place in a few weeks.

AFM- Spotting on and off. come on, honey! Show your ugly face! I bought a new box of tampons and I'm ready to use them!

JenMink55 wrote: How are you doing on the Estrogen and Lupron, are you getting any hot flashes!? I am on the patches for Estrogen and since I put them on I feel like I am 1000 degrees!
How is the Acupuncture going for you? I am doing Acupunture too, 1 time per week. I enjoy it but those little needles HURT! I am also transferring 3 frosties on November 10th, keep me updated on your progress! We will be able to go through the 2WW together!
When I was on just the Lupron I was having severe hot flashes....luckily the estrogen is supposed to combat that. I havent had them since I started the estrogen so hopefully it will stay that way. I had another accupuncture session yesterday and it was great. I felt very relaxed afterwards. We too are hopefully transferring 3 frosties, hopefully on Nov 8. Exciting that we are so close to the same schedule.

leorira- glad that the spotting finally started. Now hopefully you can move forward onto the next step. Good luck and try to stay positive.

anna-thats the craziest thing I have ever heard. Seriously...what were they thinking. Try to keep your head up and not let them affect you.

mellow- I know having the headaches really stinks. I had one for 3 straight weeks not too long ago. Just know that all these headaches, painful shots, etc etc will be worth it soon enough.

krisjner- Try not to panic. I have read a ton of posts where people had the same thing and still ended up with a positive. It could just be the implantation bleeding that some people get!!

SDtrying- sounds like you are on a similar schedule to me and jenmink. Glad everything is on track. I wish my office did more appts during the FET cycles. It makes me feel so out of the loop knowing that its been over a month since I saw them and I still have another week.

eggandprayer- Im so sorry. Best of luck with finding an even better donor!

AFM- still trucking along. Taking all the pills has started making me naseuous in the mornings, I guess because I take them on an empty stomach- which I have always done and never had a problem. Who knows though. Hopefully only a week more of Lupron shots. I also increase the estrogen pills in a few days. Does anyone know how long you supplement with the estrogen once you are pregnant? Just wondering how long Ill have to do the 3 shots (progesterone, delestrogen, and lovenox).

Krisnjer- the blood could be implantation bleeding. Very common. So this definitely could be a great sign for you! :)

Anna- Seems like our family tree must cross at some point. Many of my family members have said some of the stupidest and insensitive things since starting IVF. Starting with my Mom who responded, "Are you sure you want to do this"...when I told her we had to do IVF. Like WTF? I'm not getting an elective nose job (not that that is a bad thing)! Anywho, I found the less my family knows in regards to this the better. It's unfortunate that you can't depend on someone to support you the way you need it, esp when they are family. I know it's frustrating. Hang in there and supplement your karma with postive thoughts, a nice walk outside and a hit of fantastic dark chocolate! :)

Mellow- Sorry the Lupron is still giving you headaches! I know the pain, my friend!

Leorira- I think I confused you with someone else yesterday and posted the wrong personal to you! I'm sooooo sorry. This group is a challenge to keep straight. I'm glad your spotting started and you can start moving on to the next step sooner than later!!!

annashope - WTF? that is insensitive to say that, and I remember you telling me how unsupportive they are about IVF. My in laws and mother are the same. I don't even tell my mom cause she will ask things like can't you just keep trying naturally so so had fertility issues and they had 4 children later without treatment. Ok so there is only one cause of infertility right? We are all idiots for not just stay trying ;) God help me. And lets not forget the loaded in laws that charge us things to the cents and refuse to help us with a dime. It is not worth telling them. Sorry you have to deal with this. It would be a lot better with a supportive family.

mellow - I am so sorry again, I read your blog and told my DH. I am praying for you and your family.

karen - same as above for annas, man people say the stupidest things. Good thing we have each other.

blair - I think my ET will be around Nov 8 th too so we will be in 2WW together!

leorira - come on AF quit teasing!

kris - I think you are totally fine, are you going to POAS?

SD trying - wooohooo!!!! awesome results!

I am on Flemara (5 days), 225 Follistim and 150 menopur. What are your girls protocols?

Sorry I copied the AFM from thfall board since it is the same news! ;)
AFM - woooohoooo NO CYST! And she looked super fast (fastest in and out u/s I have ever had!) and she siad oh it looks great you got lots of follicles, at least 11. For me that is super wonderful since I usually only have 7 or less now and my right ovary never works, now it has 5 AF in my RT ovary!!! Seriously I think it is the DHEA and the CO Q10 I have been taking for 3 months. Hopefully I can have many mature eggs (only 4 on #1 and 3 on #2) and maybe even a frostie? But hopefully we will get our baby and won't need a frostie! I am super excited today, I really hope this is a great cycle!!!! I can't wait to be PUPO! I think my ER date will be around Nov 6.

karen - don't worry about it! I mix people up all the time. ftr - I'm the other lady who lost her twins :( After 2 failed cycles, I finally got pregnant again, only to have a missed miscarraige. UGH. I'm waiting for AF 6 weeks post D&C. My beta is down to zero finally - so she should come anyday!

Rio - When I put 11/10 in my signature - I meant November 2010! Not actually the 10th of the month (though, I WISH!). I'm still waiting for AF - so I have no idea when my FET will be. Thanks! (that's why I haven't added myself to the calendar - FET will be about 2.5-3 weeks after AF comes).

AFM --- DAMNED SPOTTING STOPPED! I haven't wanted a period this badly since my one and only pregnancy scare in college (and what a joke that is, looking back!)
